Monday Night

2 leagues showing off their improved sportsmanship skills, 2 leagues...don't seem to know the definition of maturity. The Pacific no longer a 4-way tie
PoolHustlers and LuckyPool, PH clear-cut favorites to win and lead the Pacific by a half game, The_Big_Game left LKP for PH, how badly would he pay?
Game 1 Cobain against WildnCrazy. Cobain tries to 7ball Wild but it doesn't work he has no shot on the final solid, but Wild wouldn't last very long with the cue, and back to Cobain we go...foul, 8 goes, right pocket right time, but it's still 1-0 LuckyPool.
Game 2 lvlasse_q against LKP captain ypool_goddess...Late game highlight masse ends up hitting way too soft with backspin allowing Jenn another shot at the table with ball in hand, with 1 stripe left and the 8 still blocked. NOT anymore she's able to get the 8 cleared, barely, and drop the 8 and who would've guessed? LKP up 2-0.
Game 3 PH needs a win so they call on Don, Jenn brings up solid snake. And right when it looks like Snake has it all tied up...he's left with don's job, bank. First nails the 13 from top to bottom left, but now has to cue bank for the 8 and if you can bank once, you can bank twice right Luis? Snake can't and Donald trumps him, Hustlers finally on the board.
Game 4 All-star brandon.du (the one who actually has lost) and skat_inc. Though it wasn't a run off the break, or even his first shot, brandon 7-balls skat and send him off reporting, it's 2-2.
Game 5 efc and garnerfan, pretty straightforward average back n forth game, except it's going to end by an early 8. Hey, it almost looked like an intentional bank though. PH gets a very fortunate win and now lead 3-2, are they just gonna rally off 5 straight?
Game 6 Guess who the Hustlers send in to clinch it, The_Big_Game. Guess who LuckyPool puts up to stop him, Godskill. Skill tries to run the former LuckyPooler to finish him off but can't come within a mile of anything on the bank, in fact he scratches. yler however won't be able to close the door on the match, and that sets up game 7 which I'll get to in juuuuuust a moment.

CueKeepers and HappyPool who would've thought these 2 teams would have a match worth interrupting Game 7 highlights?
Game 1 Playinpool and Sexyjewel. Late in the game playin wants to end it all but can't find a way to do it, leaving the jewel to finish her last few balls, HappyPool up by a solo.
Game 2 Between wd and Hokie. wd gets ball in hand late in the game (how many games this season have ended because of that?) and doesn't give it back, knocking down his final 5 solids and the 8, 1-1.
Game 3 Is won by kittytat which I didn't see because I was watching the game between don and Snake...could something like this be the reason I'm waiting on the LKP-PH game 7? 2-1 HP
Game 4 brandi against the hustlers mistress, again watching the ph-lkp match I missed most of this but I do recall brandi making a rather nice shot to set up for her 8 and tie it up again. See-saw fun fun.
Game 5 I completely missed, CKP captain Rob beat birdyd, that work? Oh well if not. CKP has their first lead. But would it hold?
Game 6 No, tr0nic and this was unfair to him, he had to beat crankyass, and you can't really beat someone who's cranky especially when they're losing. Again this game ended thanks to a little ball in hand, crankyass won, 3-3.

Now...both game 7's simultaneously...clever calm craig against copenhagen, Theike against the great shark. Both games pretty good safety battles except the CKP game went at a faster pace. Craig has a relatively good chance to run but misses, he would get another chance though as copenhagen missed a really sad attempt at a combo. Theike would give shark another chance after shark was able to make contact legally after a decent safety, but shark misses as well. Meanwhile craig finishes off copenhagen to give CKP the win 4-3, while Theike gets to the 8ball but has to make a nearly impossible cut. Can't do it, shark gets yet another chance. shark will get to the 8, try to bank it to finish it off, the upset on the line, and from top rail to bottom center, the Hustlers have now fallen a half-game back in the NL Pacific. Both CKP and PH captains by the way have done really outstanding jobs handling problems within their team this season, especially the past few weeks. Red Sox hats off to Rob and Theike.

We go from the matches full of love and good conduct to...pre-school. Breakers Alley and NewCastle. In fact, I won't even bother with a report on the match that's how sad it was. Most of the trouble was from a few Breakers Alley players who would give EP's Brandon a damn good contest. Now while a couple NC players possibly went a little too far trying to get them (mainly cherry and boricua) to shut up, I frankly didn't blame them at all. Doesn't help that when romper requested silence during his game, nobody said a word about it, and when boricua said "yall have a shitty league" nothing was done about it, or anything else she said. Or anyone said really. By the way romper won his game, and of all people guess who clinched the win for BA, boricua. A rather pathetic 5-2 win for Breakers Alley, but I'm really beginning to miss that season 2 BA team, the team that came back from 0-3 to blow away Carl's StraightShots, the team that actually shut their mouths or didn't chatter about useless crap like boricua and her trying to get herself off every time a guy goes to the table. Maybe (if they come back next season) we'll see that team, but right when you thought the night would be clean, a match with absolutely zero importance at all turns into a pissfight. Sad.

Tuesday's results coming up tonight as well, I just don't wanna do it all in 1 post :
