CKP vs CZ
Game 1
Mvp_mag1c vs million_pound_shot
Open table from the start and Joe picks stripes paul gets a shot and apparently wasn’t paying attention to the table and try's to pot a stripe so joe gets bih and looks like hes gonna run it and misses a straight shot and paul cleans up the table
1-0 cz
Game 2
Awo vs wlw_z0ml3ie_wlw
Open table zombie plays a safety and dk trys to go for the run and scratches they go about 5 min doing safeties until zombie gets a chance to run it but he misses a rail shot and dk has 3 balls left and pots one and decides to leave himself a bank which he pots anyway..this is going to be a trend tonight..dk doesn’t choke and gets the W
2-0 cz
Game3
Superstaaaar vs latiinking
Important match up here ckp cant afford to go down 0-3 against a tough cz team both players start out to play key shots it looks like carlos is in control of the match but matt has one side of the table keeping him alive carlos attempts a bang and gets no luck and matt is just too pro from here
2-1 cz
Game 4
ReallyBigAssNegro vs trumpsterized
Mike starts off with a safety shot and trump is having none of that, during the match out of the 6 balls trump pots im pretty sure 5 of them were bangs and as Mick says “75% of games are won with bangs” that’s not the case here mike plays it smart and picks up the W
2-2
Game 5
i_dippinthewic_i vs ymp
Don is one of the elite safety players playing today and he taps break trump set the trend and alex likes it and goes off with a monster bang he almost early 8’s but gets great position on a table that is now wide open. Alex does nothing with his turn except play a shot that was never going to work. Don is feeling it and goes for the run making great shots along the way but it was never quite good enough he makes the toughest shot of the match only to leave himself another bank that he misses and alex handles his business.
3-2 cz
Game 6
s_w_e_l vs Fartonyourgrave
They both play a bunch of pointless safeties and if either knew what they were doing could have won it that much faster Mick gets a run and hes gonna win it for cz..that is until he chokes and undershoots his final ball, cal keeps ckp alive
3-3
Game 7
Pommy vs Joey
Arguably the best ckp player against arguably best cz player pretty much these are the guys both leagues would put up any day on a 3-3 game. This should setup for an amazing match Until they both press start and then…it’s a sloppy game 7 match pommy gets a run messes it up Joey starts to clean and almost messes up on his final ball but still has the bank and pots it. ggs everyone
4-3 cz
Thursday night picks
Let's start with the former. A now generally loaded CKP team going against somewhat similar CZ. Let's just say... I'm glad I don't have to ref it. These two leagues really are evenly matched. It's gonna come down to who manages themselves better. Who keeps their mind on just the game. This sound familiar from an earlier CZ prediction? You've got Ben who plays intentionally slow, Joey, this awo guy whoever he is (never heard of em) with his constant racial slurs, yeah, it's gonna be a mental match. As for actual players, I like the prospect of a matchup between Pommy and Mickey, the 2 Captains. It's almost an unwritten rule that in a match with two evenly matched teams like this... Someway, somehow, it has to be 3-3 with the Captains playing Game 7. In that matchup, I like Pom to win. That's why I take Keepers to win, 4-3.
Similar situation, though the leagues aren't quite as stacked. PFN without Kerry, and instead Jamie captaining in her place. They take on Sova's Pool Legends. Interesting match because PL has been adding new in-house players lately, and they've been getting the opportunity to play. That could cause issues for PFN because it's a lot easier to play against a veteran player, than someone who truly doesn't care (rather than claims not to.) Neither league really has an A Team, so this match can be full of surprises. I think PL can knock off the NL's only remaining undefeated league, but it'll be tough. I'll take PFN 4-3, but anything can happen. Again, it could well come down to Jamie and Jason.
