Week 2 Power Rankings

Going into Week 2 we've had some interesting developments. Leagues have quit, been replaced, simply not shown, etc. Some leagues have held their spot on the week 1 rankings, many have been upset. How has this week impacted those rankings? Now we find out:

DIVISION I
1: Pool Fighters - Simply holding their #1 spot with a convincing 5-2 win over PoolFiction.
2: Pool Outlaws - Same for PO, as they whooped up on Jokers Alley.
3: DreamPool - Another league that won't move anywhere, despite the scare from Pool Masters. They deserve their spot.
4: Beer Ball Masters - Overtaking Pool Legends with their win. It wasn't a pretty win by any means, but a win is a win, is it not?
5: Pool Legends - PL goes to BBM's old spot, obviously. They simply had some bad breaks and choked away game 7.
6: Pool Masters - They move ahead of PFN simply because of the way these 2 teams lost. PM nearly pulled off an upset while PFN... Didn't.
7: Pool Fiction - Smoked by #1, but they move down like I said, thanks to PM giving DP a much harder time.
8: 8Ball Runners - Very tight (and controversial) win over IndianPool to move past them in the ranks. They stay below a couple winless teams because that's simply how the ranks work, but they'll move up by the end of the season for sure.
9: Indian Pool - They stay here despite the loss, thanks to that dickhead from JKR.
10: Jokers Alley - Someone got boxed for an aimer accusation AND the team got blown out. Respect points down bigtime. They get to sit in the cellar for now.

DIVISION II
1: UnitedPool - They leap-frog 1 and 2 in large part because of their blowout losses (yes 5-2 is a blowout in a 7-game series.) However, their match was only 3-2 until the 2 forfeits from SS.
2: Hot Shotz - Actually played a match and won as opposed to CKP (not their fault though.) they had a great win over BritPool, despite DQs on each side, but I wonder how long they can stay here.
3: XPool - Big upset as they win over former XPooler Judy and the Wild Angels. XPool still seems to have a lot in them despite losing some players to Pool Loverz, and they actually look like a top-3 team.
4: Cue Keepers - Now I've contradicted myself right? Well, not really. BNR had a win over #1 but they were #10, and I can't reasonably drop CKP down after a win, no matter how it came. So, they stay at #4.
5: Break And Run - Great win over #1 Nice Racks, 5-2, total blowout, done in 5. Let's see if this is BNR's season.
6: Wild Angels - Well they got blown out but at least it was against a higher-ranked team. It will be interesting to see if Season 6's success was a fluke or not.
7: Nice Racks - Allll the way down here because they got smoked hardcore by the cellar team. Same story for them as with Wild Angels, how do they rebound from this?
8: Straight Shots - They only came with 5 players but really put up a good effort with the now-#1 UnitedPoolers. If they had brought a full team and lost, it may be a different story.
9: Brit Pool - They lost, and brought a whole team. But for Jai being a shithead they don't get any love.
10: Pool Master - No-show. Wonder if they're even interested.

DIVISION III
1: EZ8 pool - Yes they won by forfeit but I'm not gonna take away #1 for that. Let's see them actually lose it, if they do.
2: Pool Loverz - Great comeback win over BA, but they got very lucky. Have to see how they do, but for lack of any actual matches they get to sit at #2.
3: Bearskin Eightballers - Forfeit win.
4: Blazing Cues - Forfeit win.
5: Lucky Shots - Forfeit win.
6: Breakers Alley - Lost a tight one to Pool Loverz, let's see if it's that typical week 1 close match or if they have a better chance here in D-III. Top 5 make it, and so far look at the no-shows!
7: Pool pals - No show.
8: Regul8ors - No show.
9: New Castle - No show.
10: Bad Ass Ballers - LOL. Good Riddance.

#10 Break and Run @ #1 Nice Racks

Game 1 - Game moved quite fast and both playes missed some near-gimmes. Kelly did a good job of avoid giving bih once but Poopman pretty much had control of the game at that point.... However, after a couple shots, Poopman went for the easy run, but botched the shot on the 11 going for bottom left. Kelly easily finished the 2 solids, BNR goes up 1-0.
Game 2 - More of a slower game 2, but still the usual easy misses. Capwhanda especially had trouble with the 2 middle pockets, while Sir Shroom struggled with mostly any kind of long shot, primarily due to being a safety-oriented player. Cap eventually gained ball advantage simply by lack of positioning from Shroom, and then with 3 solids and a stripe, the safeties began. After Shroom missed a bank attempt for his final ball off bottom rail to top middle, Cappy finished out easily and BNR got a win closer to a 10-1 upset, leading 2-0.
Game 3 - Deadly nights tried to run it quickly but got into trouble, having 1 solid against 6 stripes. After a couple fouls, kotor knocked down the 14-13 combo to the bottom left, and it was off to the races. However, he botched position with 1 stripe remaining, ALMOST nailed the 2-rail cuebank on the 15 but no dice, and BNR goes up THREE-0!
Game 4 - It was inevitable... safety battle between pain purifies and pita from the beginning. Pita primarily intentionally fouled to try and force some shots out of pain, and get an advantage as far as balls left on the table. Pain evened it out consistently without fouling. Late in the game, James tried to run but barely missed, Pita touched his 10 and the backspin dropped the 4ball for a good safety. With bih after, Pita made his 10 and then the safeties began again full-force. That only lasted for a short time though, as pain immediately gave him bih again, Pita keeps NR alive but it's still 3-1.
Game 5 - Sweet heart went for the run with 6 stripes to go, it looked rather easy at first but it got much harder than it had to be. A safety battle soon followed. However, after a scratch by sweetheart David took advantage and BNR secures the upset in 5.
Game 6 - mmm.purr (aka FroggyGoddess) wins over kingmatt_87 to make it 5-1.
Game 7 - HHHMikeHHH wins for NR over sgttedbuxton to make it a 5-2 Final.

HUGE win for BNR, and Nice Racks now have a little question surrounding them. Are they overrated, or was this simply a 1-time thing? Is BNR this good? Well, they took advantage of plenty of NR mistakes. Primarily botched runs. It was simply contrasting styles of play - NR the D-I type slow-play, and BNR the run-n-gun style, for the most part. 17 weeks to go however, still plenty of games to be won and lost.
