Tuesday Night Goes As Planned, Sorta.

Well, it took nearly an hour but the Cue Keepers gained a 1-0 lead on the 8Ball Runners, but apparently they're like a good wine... They just get better with age. 8BR would tie the match on a great run from Si, who found out that internet cafe computers aren't all that bad actually. Don would tie the match up for the Cue Keepers at 2 a couple games later, but back-to-back wins from Corey and MJ would seal the deal, and Pommy would be left for a relatively meaningless game 7 (which he won.) 8BR gets the win, 4-3, to advance to 2-0 on the season. Cue Keepers fall to 1-1, but obviously still another 12 matches to be played, anything can happen between these two AL powerhouses.

Earlier in the night, Roy came back to StraightShots home room of All Mixed up to play with his old league. Well, of course they would be playing BritPool so that means he was AGAINST his old league. Y'know SS didn't look half-bad beating True Pool Legends, maybe they could carry that momentum into Week 2! ...Yeah no. 'Shots got schooled and it was as ugly as it was fast. BP's rookie Captain fvcken_stoner would get the clinch, Roy would also win, JAI would win (there's a blast from the past, kinda.) And BP would slaughter the StraightShots 7-0 in our first sweep of the season. BP bounces back from a crushing 6-1 defeat at the hands of Pool Legends to go 1-1, and 8/6 overall on the season. Straight Shots also 1-1 only a marginally worse 5/9 win-loss record.

And in the 3rd match of the night, UnitedPool continues their strong start to the 10th MLP Season. They pick up a 5-2 victory over the Pool Masters, Ketan picking up the clincher in that one. UP now 2-0 on the season, though keep in mind it's only against UNY and PM, they get their first actual challenge of the season next week when they take on the 8Ball Runners. PM now 0-2, with a pair of 5-2 losses... Next week they get UNY. Still plenty of time to change the season around.
