Thursday Predictions!
Well its week 3 and im finally doing my 1st set of thursday predictions. After the shocks of last night i hope il be a bit more on the ball tonight!
CKP (2-0) @ OPH (0-2) 6pm
First match tonight see's an oph team in complete dissaray versus a very inform cue keepers side! Some said with ckp's season 5 losses their season goal would be merely to fill the numbers, turn up each week, take a hammering, have fun. I personally think rob has a different objective in mind. So far rob has been a huge success as captain taking his ckp team to 2 closely faught 4-3 victories! The story at oph isnt quite the same, high expectations came in with this oph side, so far everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong. Last weeks escapade undermined coles ability with the cue as he displayed what poor attitude he sometimes has. With no captaincy credidentials to his name a few questioned how he would cope, those who questioned have seen no answers! Perhaps its time luis took the throne and sorted this team out. That one however, is up to oph! So.. once again oph holding more talent and yet once again i think they will lose. Cole is a huge loss even with his 0-2 record and with no moe either the hugely inactive oph league may be hard pressed to field 7 players and against a very well organised ckp team that just won't do! Another squeeked win for ckp, 4-3!
Ind (1-1) @ PF (2-0) 7pm
Im still not sure what to make of this ind team, first they demolish qz then they recieve a pounding from regs! Do we have the next madskillz in the making? I doubt it, i think ind will come into their own over the next few weeks and show us exactly what sort of side they are. Pf came into season 6 very much a darkhorse after falling miserably flat on their faces at the end of season 5, as such they are performing very well and with corey back in the lineup things can only get better. On the back of an excellant 5-2 vic over a stacked lpl side this new pool fighter lineup demands respect and quite frankly ind are gonna need to pull a lot out of the bag to stop this pf charge, not gonna happenm, pf (3-0) with a 4-3 vic!

Not a great deal to say here other than pl go (3-0)! Bnr simply don't stand a chance, pl have too much depth and quality, hell jason hasn't even played himself yet this season! But then who needs jase when you have warlord, fink, james, chris and too many others to mention! This could quite easily be a blowout but il give bnr at least 1 vic, 6-1 Pl.
QZ (1-1) @ REG (1-1) 9pm
As much as i hate writing qz off they have had an abismal 1st 2 weeks, blown out by ind and a massively lucky win v ss! They are still a talented team but kevin hasn't as of yet wielded that captain marvel magic he poccesses. If any other team had perfomed the way qz had done in season 6 so far id be giving them no chance against the newly rebuilt regs side, however theres always that feeling that kevin saves everything for these type of matches! I just can't find it in me to write them off, i still however feel regs are too strong for this qz side but il go with a much closer game than most people would say! 4-3 regs!
Ok feel free to bash them predictions, i guess i deserve it after last night but hey todays a new day! :p Gl all and go prove me right!!
