Poolmasters vs Breakers Alley Spark Notes!
Predicted Score: 5-2
I showed up a few minutes late to this match.
-soothing_affect (PM) vs laurena.mcilroy (BA)
When I showed up at the table, soothing_affect seemed to have the upper hand. As the game went on, it started to look like Laurena could take it. She's down to 3 balls (including the 8) and is left with a tough cut on the green, which she misses and uses to block the pocket which would be the obvious choice for the 8. Soothing has the cue again and gives it another whack ... misses. Laurena is left with a very easy 3 ball run out ... nearly scratches, but she takes the win.

Dawndy breaks.
Looks like Tami is going for the run but misses after sinking two balls. Now, Danwndy is going to try to bang and clear the table ... that fails after sinking 2 of hers! Tami's given the cue only to miss after one attempt. Miss, miss, miss! More and more misses. Table is clear for Tami with four balls left .... it's an EASY spread! Can she finish it? NOO she hits the tit while going for a rather easy shot into the side. Dawndy take no time to finish the table and is hit in the face by one of those railers that bounce off the wall! Tami's chance to make her last ball and sink the 8 but um 8 is on the rail! .. << OMG ... Dawndy is about to win it -- one more ball and the 8 is left. Made the green, now the 8 (looks simple). She makes it!

Don't know who broke! But I see that Zack seems to have the upper hand with stripes. Nvrgiveup.hope left her self in a funny position and just went for a bang and turn away type shot (Note: It DID NOT work). Zack is left with one shot and then takes it safe after that. He's got 2 open shots now with his yellow ball having an affair against the rail with one of his opponent's balls. He halfway safeties (Meaning that she was left with a shot). She makes two of them carelessly, which lead to her having no shot. She then proceeded to attempt a bank and came CLOSE, all the while, leaving Zack with nothing. Zack safeties again and she will attempt ANOTHER bank. That leaves Zack with the table and the game! NOT. Zack misses an 8 ball attempt into the corner pocket from close range. Nvrgiveup.hope SINKS a 2 railer, for NOTHING, because she misses the railer on the 8 ball. Zack sinks an easy 8 for the win.

Black decides to tape break (F$*% YOU!). This leads to a tap fest, which gives me time to go eat some Apple Pie. I'm done with my apple pie. Cool balls have been potted. A majority of those belong to Spanky. Black sees a run and finishes it.

Shane breaks and goes for a run. He fails after 3 or 4 balls and goes for a cue bank and scratches. Jeremy seems to have won but he chokes with 3 balls left! Can SHANE finish a three ball run?? OH NO, he did not finish it misses a simple, little shot to the bottom left! Jeremy's at it again and finishes it.

AHH was on the phone through the beginning of this one. Star Trek has the cue with three balls left and an open table. He's going for a tough cut into bottom right, Nails it. OUCH...He was left with red and blue next to each other so he went for red bottom middle middle and made the red AND the blue and no shot on the 8. He goes for the bank AND SCRATCHES! Wow.

Breakers Alley surprised me here. Their team wasn't what I expected it to be. As you can see, they didn't get the beating that I thought they would and ended up winning it.

Pool Masters @ Breakers Alley - I think, with Drew potentially able to play a bit more, PM can really make a good Playoff run. One thing they've lacked recently is that one truly reliable player. Not just in terms of skill, but in terms of being able to shoot the crap with the league';s regulars. Believe it or not, how long you've played with the same league can be a small factor sometimes. You tend to know what to expect, and there are fewer surprises before your game. With all that said, I think Pool Masters will win here. I mean Spanky beat TWO people at the same time last week. That's the kind of fortune you ride for more than just 1 match. PM wins this one, probably 4-3.
Lucky Shots @ StraightShots - This one, I kinda have mixed feelings with. I mean I know what league I WANT to win, and that's Straightshots because there's no drizo, no trio, basically nobody I can think of that actually runs their mouth a lot. Now flash ahead to reality, LS is still the better league no matter how much those 2 ramble on, and they're better in some part because of those 2 players. They took one on the chin last week, it's time to return the favor. I'm gonna be generous to SS here, LS only wins 5-2.
Pool Legends @ Malditos - Miz or no Miz, Malditos got beat last week, and beat to the point that the 1-2 punch of Miz and Neo wouldn't even have been able to save them. Remember the whole thing about Malditos can never show their best 7 more than twice a season (hell, more than once even?) PL... I REALLY wanna pick them to win this one, and I'm just torn because it's probably gonna be 4-3 either way, whether it actually takes 7 or not. I flipped a coin, PL won the toss, they get the pick. PL 4-3.
Cheap Shotz @ United Pool - So uh... Star Wolf got smacked around a bit (OK, a lot) by Star Fox, portrayed by the collective team of 8Ball Runners. Now it gets interesting. Ignoring the fact that king thinks UP is 10X better than they are, and that I'm gonna hear it from him fi I don't pick them to win, I WILL pick them to win. ...A different match. I like Cheap Shotz to win here, IF robbie, paul, etc. show up ready to go. I have a feeling they will, I have a feeling they'll play their roles well (aka win), and CZ wins 4-3.

United Nations of Yahoo @ 8Ball Runners - Coach or no coach, see above. Won't likely be close. 8BR 5-2.
Pool Loverz @ True Pool Legends - PZ just simply clutches defeat from the jaws of victory. Until I see them play full strength, I have to give the nod to TPL. I think the True Pool Legends will win it 5-2, I DO think PZ will find a way to have 7 ready, where it's a later match, but it just won't be enough.
