Cubby's side
Poolfiction leads off the week against SuperbPool in Bad Times at 7:00, and I shouldn't need to say it's Monday night. Superbpool...lost to a CueKeeper team that started 2 minutes before the match. Poolfiction...made a Happypool team that started 20 minutes late look absolutely silly. The moral of this story: There is none, just some random facts. I think barring some huge mental breakdown from Poolfiction (and jammy playing lmao) Poolfiction does in fact win this 5-2, I agree with dan (don't get used to it.)
The other 7PM match is Newcastle visiting HappyPool in Don't Stop Me Now, and again I gotta side with dan and ask what in the world is going on with HappyPool. If they have another week where nobody knows what the hell is going on, they'll be out of the playoff race before the halfway point. Granted they're always good at blowing it when they get there (losing from 3-1 against PF in Season 2, and our friend mephy's brilliance from Season 3). Again I expect this shakey first few weeks to continue and Newcastle to jump right on it and win 4-3.
8:00 Break and Run in Play The Game against a team who...got played by Beerballers, XPool. Break and Run is by no stretch of the imagination full of great players you'd put on your MLP fantasy team. But, they ARE full of players who haven't gotten any worse, and quite a few new faces who I gotta say, will take this BNR team to the wildcard in the National League. Step 1: Beat Unitedpool. Step 2: Beat XPool, and that's what they'll do 4-3.
Dan's match of the night and mine too, too bad it won't be a 4-3 7 game shootout. Poolhustlers go to We Are the Champions, to face...Well who else runs their league there? Of course Elitepool. That closes out the night at 9:00, Elitepool's top 2 I'd say are probably MisterLucky (I mean...this guy gave dan one hell of a match, he's got my vote for all-star already), and kaboom, if he can find that skill that made him so dominant in PIT in earlier months and even years. Then you do have scotter who's up there with them, but then there's the Hustlers with Cory Theike Jim & Krunal to fire right back at those 3, the Hustlers probably actually win 5-2, but they still win.
Next, to start off your Tuesday, NewCoolPool, and Breakers Alley. Hi firebob how are you today? NCP has picked up a huge boost in talent this season compared to last, (which means they picked up at least a halfway decent player) in allstarcameron. They probably don't need him for this match, but I thought I'd throw it out there. The Breakers made LPL look like the USA Basketball Team this year. Not the dream team, the "got creamed team". Even though the match is in Vicki's Secret, I believe NCP will actually win one, imagine that, 5-2.
8PM leaves Smoking Cues going to Beer Lovers to take on the...BeerBallers on your doorstep. BBM will make an impact this season, oh and they'll beat the Outlaws later in the season. But for now, all they have to do is win 4 games against the smoking cues. Daru lost last week because he made a mental error while attempting his 400th safety of the game, and the understanding of the game this league has is impeccable. You will almost need to run them off the break every time you get the chance. Smoking Cues can't and won't do that, and the BeerBallers will win 5-2.
PO UP...No that's not a new catchphrase or battle cry that's the initials of the 2 leagues playing, Pool Outlaws will be in Back Somersault to take on UnitedPool at 9...as if it matters where they're playing, Rebel's Loft, Back Somersault, Pizza Hut, Burger King, dan says 5-2...add 1 on the left, subtract 1 on the right my friend, Kevin if he actually has the whole team there, will give the UnitedPoolers a big "say hello....to my little friends" speech by winning 6-1. Look at this as a little speedbump on their way to the National League championship match with BeerBallers.
Wednesday another doubleheader at 7 for ya first it's the 2 leagues that should've won...and completely blew it. LPL goes to Advanced Lounge Sporty can't play on camtasia because his cat clawed his hard drive is that our excuse for the week now? I know I know I can't get mad at them because it's not mandatory but I can say despite his uh...legitimacy, the Fighters can't choke on it twice in a row. And Luis will make that shot he missed 99.999999999 etc. % of the time. Of course Cole won't be against any banned morons named Carl, PF has to win this and they will, to make up for last week for me, 5-2.
EZ8, MZ...HUH? Who's MZ? They're called MadSkillz...Ok, welcome to replacing our friend the 8BallElites. EZ8 will be left hanging without Carl no doubt there, but hey they were too foolish to take him as captain in the first place. they probably won't repeat their win from last week and by the way that match is in You're Crazy, You're Crazy if you disagree when I say the Madskillz will have a Mad 4-3 win.
Pimps...Shots....8:00...in All Mixed Up. Spir0 Funk Riddance JJ James...do I need to really explain in depth why the Straightshots should win this 5-2 at the very least?
Black and Blue and Gold and Silver...oh, my bad, Black&Silver, yeah they're against Regul8ors in Bent Cue. dan after what I saw with the regs last week you better be training em as well as you told me you were, because if not you guys are about to lose. Robbie's OK, RAH's really good, Dan's just...out of this world. Are we forgetting Crypt of BlackSilver? CinnamonDrops? She'll help Cinnamon Drop the Regul8ors in a close one, 4-3.
Final night of week numero 2. 7:00 BritPool CueKeepers. both sides will likely be rather tired being that most of the CueKeepers are european...that means this is Midnight for them, and BritPool, Brit, Britain, Europe, get it? OK, Britpool actually has the players to win this match however, and the Cue Keepers unless they really prepare well, will lose 4-3.
Tight Rack Pool Masters...Nice little Before and After puzzle for ya. This one at 8:00 in Anything Goes. Blue83's not happy about being benched for the entire LuckyPool match oh you poor poor thing and he's been threatening actually to leave for a new league...Shame he'll miss jimvan, Luckydog, and the rest of the Poolmasters winning 5-2 over the Tight Rackers, especially if they only have 6 players...uh oh.
Your final match of the night it's LuckyPool..led by "is this on camtasia? is this on camtasia? do you have camtasia? are you playing on camtasia?" All in a span of about 15 seconds The_Big_Game except Godskill will probably be captain, against the "unbeated" HotShotz...Man I can't get over the brilliance of GodlySPN can you guys? Anyways, don't look for much to change here, the HotShotz need to bring back that aimer patrick_ska to piss off luckypool and get em DQ'ed, Luckypool probably wins this one 6-1, on the shoulders of AceMarked, Big_Game, ChristopherSoccer, and astro, and pick 2 more on your own.

Will be a CLOSE match I believe, I think there is a slight chance of an upset by SP...my predicted score will be 5-2 PFN, if they take them seriously...if they just put a lineup of backups, I expect pfn to be in some deep trouble.
Players to watch: sp_Paris_in_flames and pfn_marty_mcfly

NC @ HP
Boy, am I confused on what the hell is going on with Happy Pool, I just seen them getting bitch smacked by pfn, but they didn't really have any of the big name players I'm accustumed of seeing. For some strange reason I picked them to beat NC in my MLP pick em game, which is going public in a bit...and yes, yours truly is leading the pack in that department. NC ain't exactly a powerhouse, HP met their match, LOL.
Players to watch: Anyone who can crack a good joke, so none of you fall asleep during the match.
Perdicted Score: HP 4-3
BNR @ XP
This will be a close affair, both teams are evenly matched. I don't really think there is alot of marque players on either team, but there's alot of good players on both teams...should go the distance.
Players to watch: bnr_kellyhero and definitely xp_ukpoolqueen is she's even around anymore.

PH @ EP ** Match of the Day **
Oh this will be a great one, the most under achieving team against my "personal" most underrated team...I didn't think EP would be THAT good, I knew they had scotter, skrew and mister...but they basically have a good starting 7, PH are stacked as hell as usual.
Players to watch: ep_ xxxkaboomxxx and one of the most underrated players in MLP ph_hotandwild...there's like a handfulof more great players, must watch game...if you want to be entertained, come watch this game.

NCP @ BA
No clue what BA stands for, no clue who they have...all I know is they beat LPL in week 1, good for them...I'm picking NCP, I think they have more star power.
Players to watch: ncp_corey_man, ncp_allstarcameron and ini mini miny moe ba_ba_best_ever ...well thats the first ID from BA that came to mind, those kinda "best ever" IDs usually mean the dude just puts backspin on every shot, but then again I might be wrong and he'll be this years season MVP...yes Kayla, you need to make a season MVP...like player of the year. ;)
Prediction: NCP 5-2
SC @ BBM
The Bad Boys of the 80's (NBA talk ) against one of the more consistant teams last season, with neme not at their side I see SC having trouble this season...they might sneak in as a wild card, they still have some good players...but against BBM, unless BBM gets DQ'ed (which is a possibility) they should have this match and be 2-0 on the season. Alot of star power on BBM, a very talented team...no worse then PH, PO or PFN.
Players to watch: bbm_l_eso_l (cocky dude or so I heard, he is 1-0 on the season), logic_b00m will look to bounce back from his season opening lose and sc_smokin_dan_sc who had a great season 3, is 1-0 so far and is looking to make a repeat of the all-star team this coming season.

PO @ UP
Another team I have no idea about, this just looks like that goliath vs some little cochroach crawling on your wall, that you don't even pay attention to until your chick has a nervous breakdown when she sees it...bottom line, I think PO is already looking at week 3.
Of course I want UP to prove me wrong and skunk PO 7-0, but then again I want to win the lottery.
Players to watch: King_James_ is 0-1, pissed and looking for redemption....Champion_Chris hopefully he makes his MLP debut that game...I have no idea who UP has, for all I know they might be a great team, I'm going to be like a NY time writer and just type bullshit and act like I know whats going on.

Couple of LOSERS from week 1, good news....one of you bums will finally win a game, LOL...just kidding, anyways this should be a good match as well...ALOT of great player, especially on PF side. Will be interested to see how badly Luis's opponent is going to get it this week, since Luis lost his opening season match...he'll probably run his game and give PF a default win.

Welcome the newest league to MLP, Madskills....nothing like initiations, *sigh* I remember those High School days...only reason I came to HS was to initiate freshman, gym class and whenever the principal called and said if you skip any more days find a new high school to attend...but yeah, enough about me... Ez8 should give them the royal treatment...show them why MLP is where the best players play, and tell them to go hit the training tables.
I'd go bananas if Madskillz beat the living snut outta them and make me look like a jackass...

Ah, looking at SS ladder Riddance is still with them, no clue on his situation...if he's still with SS, they are the best team in their conference, actually 2nd best to PFN. If SS can bring their A lineup, they should be 2-0....if they bring the same lineup they brough week 1, I expect PLP to give them a good match.

W00t, I already get to face my old team...ah the drama, the heart ach for me...I just hope it dont come down to 3-3, and then I have to break BS's hearts the 2nd straight week, after they gave PO all they can handle. BS has some great players still, and a top notch captain...they are a sleeper for the playoffs....this game will be very tough for regul8ors, because it's like a must win for BS, they dont want to fall to 0-2.
Players to watch: I dont need to mention me, reg_SnoopRobbieRob and one of the more underrated players reg_Super_Rah....bs_crypt6uardian, bs_Cinnamondrops this girl ran King_James_ week 1, and not one of them sloppy runs...she did it with style, gave James his own treatment.

I don't know much about these teams, so I'm just going to say my predicted score....my gut feeling so to say.

Oh boy, PM is a GREAT team...they are in that elite group I think, Jim, Blue, Pool_Perfection, I have the power...they got a very strong group of players, TRP got alot of players who got "RARES" =/...as far as talent, I dont know...they could have, I'll learn that as the season progresses.
Players to watch: trp_WickedNikki just sounds wicked, and she's 1-0....yippe...pm_jimvan723, pm_b_l_u_e_83 and pm__flip_16. Look for mrsr_pool_perfection to get back on track after losing his game in week 1.

l_ll_187_ll_l: i think we are about the same as far as talent goes, jj and kenny were tough losses, especially jj cuz he got wins we needed em a lot and showed that in the playoffs. Chris was a huge addition and we still got most of our key players returning, so i can see us going a long ways this season once again.
Entering the season, do you have any sort of goals from you or your teams perspective? Like going undefeated, winning certain awards?
l_ll_187_ll_l: course i would like to make a return as an all star and if we get to the world series, a repeat in that would also be great, but if po was to win world series, that would be greater than any individual achievement. The individual awards are a plus, but you cant win those without your team doing well and ahving your back.
Which teams entering the season will give PO trouble?
l_ll_187_ll_l: what teams are in our division? lol i dunno our team is pretty well stacked, and i havent looked at who all we play...after going undefeated i dont know, but ph gave us a hard time last we played, so id have to say they will give us the most problems
But I do recall BS taking you the distance BOTH seasons, why PH? Didnt you guys beat em 4-2 and something like 6-1 going back to last season

If he shows up, he will play with the outlaws, but its hard to tell if he will return or not.
Without Jamie, I dont think PO is the best team in MLP....not even top 5, does that make you angry?
l_ll_187_ll_l: No not really cause its not what people think that makes a difference, it the record at the end of a season...I mean sure not having jamie as a full time starter is tough, but look at the old rw, we were a bunch of newb's and came out strong in our first interleague...ITs what the whole team does together on 1 night of the week. I dont think the fact of us not having him will make a big difference at all, there is always someone there who can step in and be a major factor
