Week 9 Picks
United Nations of Yahoo @ Breakers Alley - UNY is so much better than Breakers. BA can get an occasional win out of Jeremy and Phil, but their lesser players rarely get lucky enough to pick up wins consistently. It's gonna be a 5-2, maybe 6-1 UNY victory.
Magic Pool @ 8Ball Runners - ...Boring Monday, much? 8BR wins 5-2, they probably clinch in 4 or 5 games. Just too deep, too good, MP has a couple good players but again... Not enough.
Cheap Shotz @ Whoever replaces FT - Most likely either New Happy Pool or X8B, either way, it's a BIG 5-2 or 6-1 win for Cheap Shotz.
Break and Run @ UnitedPool - Pretty good match here. King finally realizes UP is mediocre. That gets him off my case every week when I pick them to lose. Here I think they'll win though and keep pace with Cheap Shotz. BNR continually gets better and they kinda hang around in matches, but they always seem to lack that big win late in the match to win it. Uniteds win this one 4-3.
StraightShots @ BritPool - Oh who knows? Drew is something else. "hey I'm not gonna play any of my tourney games and whine about that not being in the rules when I can't play!" Unfortunately, they're still better than Straightshots.It'll be close, but if BP has 7 eligible players they'll likely win 4-3. SS has always been a league I never get to see though. kinda weird.
True Pool Legends @ Lucky Shots - LS needs to make a big push to reach the Playoffs, but everyone is kinda bundled together in the National League and TPL is kinda meh. Lucky Shots is A LOT better than they've played, but they need a couple of their mediocre players to play well against their TPL counterparts to win. I don't think it'll happen, and against my better judgement... True Pool Legends win this 4-3.
