nite I quit was having a rough nite as I already talked to jeff and a few friends and explained them what happened... besides work's been really intense last couple of months and next 2 months aren't cake either, but for the most part I did miss shooting some games in pf and tp which is why I'm back

lol not really, I just enjoy the game, as long as I always play on free times it's not bad, like weekends for example, it's not like when I was in college and I could stay till 3am playing, nowadays with work and the different assigments out of town I'm just thankful I can get to play sometimes, for example tomorrow I won't be here vs ph unless something doesn't come up tomorrow

Well, something you mentioned to me before, it seems almost every week there are a lot of PF players in the cam tourney, is there anything provoking that or is it strictly for the double points?

well that goes back from season 2 actually, we always got accused of aa back then and there was no way to really prove we were legit. Which is why we strongly supported the cam idea for the first moment and when it was inserted in the big league tour in season 3, we did have some points to prove, as we were considered aimers everywhere. We have now won the blt 3 times in a row, 2 of those on cam, so I think we've proved our legitimacy so far, but it doesn't end there. Just because we've proved we're legit doesn't mean we can't download some lame program to help us play better in the game, right?... so I think it's mostly about proving we're legit and our players can actually enjoy the game not having to worry whether they're gonna be accused or not. The double points thing is actually a plus for us and of course, 2 is better than 1 :) lol.

Yeah and the whole ivey thing last year proves one of the points you just made.

yes exactly, I still don't understand why he went and downloaded aa, but he used the excuse that he simply wanted to win... well look at it this way, we all want to win so who's gonna say I can't download aa tomorrow? just because my name is luis doesn't mean I can't do it, which is why I always play on cam whenever I'm asked. Doesn't matter how much you've proved to be legit, if all those people have managed to get an aimer program, it means everyone can get it.

Now, this marks the first season that PoolFiction and PoolFighters aren't in the same conference and won't meet potentially until the World Series. Will you miss them at all? And also, is there anything now that's stopping PF from getting to the big stage this time around?

lol figured you would ask that... to be honest we didn't do that bad vs pfn, we beat them in regular season 3 and 4... BUT lol they pounded us in playoffs and of course, those wins actually count... but when I think of the ways we've lost to them well, you gotta admit we did have some bad luck on our side. Season 2 I failed to show up, judgerob was timed out, danny scratched on 8... season 3 we lost on the very last shot, I still remember how that cue kept rolling and rolling till it scratched, that was a heartbreaker. And last season I didn't show up either (out of town on business) and we lost on timer as I was told... I mean it really sucked. But can't take away pfn's credit for those wins... they did the little things that we failed to do and that's why they won those 3 games, and I'm sure we have learned a lot by playing such an organized and very tight team altogether. Now the road to world series, there are other leagues that will of course try to stop us on our way there... but for the most part we just gotta keep doing our thing, getting the wins to make it to playoffs and when that time comes, that's a whole new ball game and we will need our best gunners to show up if we really want to make it that far...But we need to make it to playoffs first and that's one of our main goals just for now, when playoffs time come (if we make it) then I'll worry about that.

Who's the one person you respect the most in MLP?

the one person I respect the most... hmmm wouldn't be fair to mention just one person. I've got great deal of respect for mlp admins, because they've always been supportive towards me, but of course I do have to mention kayla and jeff, because our friendship goes way back and they were there for me when things got rough at times. I respect their friendship and most of all their sense of fairness, sometimes we got into arguements because we had different views about certain little things and they always knew how to separate friendship from doing your work properly.

Another single-out question, don't feel too obligated to answer if ya don't wanna. If you could challenge 1 player in MLP to a race to 7, who would it be and why?

lol it's ok I can take that question, I have nothing to prove and unlike the usual idiots out there I don't go from room to room demanding races or taunting players or just saying "nah I own that guy, we played like 100 years ago and I won 2-0"... some stupid remark like that lol. But I think I could want to race more than 1 player, because I think their level of playing are the same, besides I'm nobody to "tell" that guy is better than that other guy... I mean I could be wrong, but to finally answer your question lolol I'd challenge players like bran, tyler, jj, james, corey, jamie...and I'd challenge them for their styles of playing, they all play very smart pool and I'm always ready to learn anything from them. btw, just let me throw this, might not have another chance... I would also race kayla to 7 in dominoes, I think she uses dominoes buddy lolol. I'm serious, she pulls some freaky stuff outta nowhere... but in the end I think I won :P lolol.

This is the most important question of them all: Resident Evil 4 or Silent Hill 4?

lol to be honest, I haven't played any of them, buuuuuuuuut, I was told RE4 kicks some serious ass. But depends pretty much on what you like, I think I'd go for Silent Hill 4 because the previous I've seen are scarier lol.

So would you play either of them? Or would you still stay away from the survival horror genre?

lol I would play them, but I wouldn't play them at nite... yes I'm a sissy lol sue me =))

Just wanted to mention guys like danny, nick, toni, kaz, all the pf admins and all my homies in pf, I thank them for their support and friendship and all my great friends also in tp, peachie, jess, netty, rob (he's a fag though lol jk)... all of them in tp, they know who they are, all of them are winners in my book and kayla and jeff, thanks for putting out wth me all this time lolol and bran and jj *sighs they're gonna love this, but you guys are cool... and please one last thing. Madrid got robbed today from a 3-0 win vs juve, but it's ok 1-0 will be enough, mark my words madrid will conquer the champions league... I hope lolol. Before you close it out, gary, he's always been cool to me and I know we've had our share of discussions, but he's iight, just want him to know that.

So there's the interview with a man who's long deserved one, if you ask me, like I said before, no single player, has ever been as great a guy, both as a player and an actual person, as Luis. Hopefully we'll see him around at least occasionally for Season 6.

Jack showed up against his former team tonight, but did the Elites come to play? BeerBaller jay_da_bowling_man can finally rest knowing his circus miss on the 8 against BNR wasn't the only one like it in MLP this season...but what about the exact same called pocket, exact same pocket the 8 went in to, and the exact same team benefitting from it? A heart-Break-er in Break It Up as Break and Run stuns BlackSilver, note all the capital B's when "break" is mentioned, and finally...MLP Captains, do your jobs! Why captain babysitting may be necessary to get captains to handle their responsibilities.

So after that regulation-sized prologue, let's get to the action shall we? WildAngels and UnitedPool a match I didn't watch. But assuming the matches were reported in order ketan played last, UP loses right? Well...While it was 4-3, Uniteds had it when sir_bankshot knocked off WildAngel kemorst, in game 5. As for your little star watch, SongNeverEnds of WA beat UnitePool's cadillac pimpin, for the curious.

How about Break and Run against BlackSilver, BNR putting up badalnighter first, no surprise. He took on Tooth3215, and in one of BNR's longest games...ever in their history in MLP, the badboy Vince took home the win. Brown skinnedgirl would play game 2 against Aaron013, yep that's another BNR win they're up...Lemme make sure here..yeah 2-0. BS would finally get on the table as l_hero_23_l played hero for a game and beat BIGJERM. Game 4 badking practically had it locked up after kellyhero2003 left herself halfway in the bottom middle pocket, but he got stuck with no shot on the 8. Kellyhero was able to pull out a win there and it's now 3-1 Break and Run. But BS wasn't out of it, Eddie knocked off wnder_y, and Fox Fire beat capwhanda to set uo game 7 3-3. Ace7887, despite recently withdrawing in BS I'm sure he was eligible no worries, redhot I'm sure checked, after all this Ivey business. Let's hit the fast forward button and pause as Ace gets to the 8. Now let's plug in another VCR to another TV and flashback to last week. BBM's jay_da_bowling_man goes for bottom left, hits the rail just above that pocket, it goes bottom right. Turn off that TV, watch the other one, different angle, going for bottom left, it's 3-3, game 7, misses high, and that 8...doesn't...stop. Bottom right pocket, BNR wins it, 4-3, emerald eidolon from BNR said it best with "DEJA VU!" after that 8ball shot.

DreamPool visiting ElitePool Jack's there, as many will recall he was ElitePool's captain through that stretch of games known as MLP Season 4. More on him later. Game 1 bryan_the_almighty_jew against Emery666, the latter a member of EP, the former a winner. 1 to zip DreamPool, game 2 killer of gents and sirs for EP, against DreamPool's Shayne, that's Osiris by the way, y'know, guy workin on this blog. All going well until the ump, and what an idiot this guy was. He DQ's his SportsCenter co-worker, wait...I was ump...Whoops. Well, Shayne caught with 4 tourney games, so that's 1-1. Game 4, 2-1 DreamPool, Elite captain Flipmode_m, calls Kris_57, said he didn't mean to then asked how I knew he wasn't just saying a name...Come on last time someone asked me a question like that they withdrew from MLP. Well, no leagues withdrawing (that I know of) but it turns out kris is ineligible, so a pair of ineligible DQs, 1 to a team, 3-1 DP. That all coming after kris childishly refused to canel the game, and people on both sides and even non-players got involved in some ignorant piss-fighting. Next, flip finally gets who he wanted, rc_crown_royal, against DreamPool's Super Mario. Doo, doo doo. Doo, doo, doodoo. Doodoo, doodoo, doodoo, doo, doo, doodoo...OK enough of the NES memories. It's-a-you, Mario...DreamPool loves those old 2-D games now, he clinches the victory, 4-1. The match would end 5-2 DP, Jack a loser, while flipmode beat Pascal in the captain showdown.

ChampionsPool and HotShotz, 2-0 CHP when we pick this one up, then the 'Shotz woke up. babygurl69 and DAZZA brought in back to back wins to tie it at deuces, but all things came in 2s in this match. CHP took the next 2, courtesy of bizzy bone and and salik bilal, bilal's win on an early 8 from cowboy74107. CHP's mjaust would've beat babygurl actually also had the 8 not hung in the pocket, and had she not got the lucky leave on a miss, but CHP still a winner, it would end 4-3 as HS captain Glenno got a win over lethaled, who was flagged (by who else but me) for only having 8 tourney games.

That brings us to a little issue in MLP. This is the first season it has not been the umpire's responsibility to check players, that rests in the hands of the captains each match. But a growing problem already is of course, the captains aren't checking their own players. That is being left on the heads of the opposing captains and players, or other people (me) who happen to be at matches. When that doesn't happen, it becomes an honors system, kinda like playing 1 on 1 basketball and you're the ref, or...playing backyard baseball and you're calling strikes and balls as either the pitcher or hitter. Unless someone else steps in you'll probably get away with it. I agree with a player being called and not being changed, but I also think the umpires need to check them during the game, I mean...if it's during, you're not slowing the match up any. The rule was put into effect to speed up matches, so umps didn't start a match late. But again I fail to see the delay when an ump checks a player during the match. That way the captain's call is non-changeable, and the umpires and the admins on duty can make sure players are eligible without delaying the match at all. As far as the captains not doing their job as it is now, you know, maybe sometime in the near future they may either be removed as team captain, or worse, have their team removed if it gets worse. Maybe the Admins need to closely monitor each admin and give a team an extra loss on top of the DQ to show them they mean business. However I'm not saying do what PLC did and DQ a whole team, unless it became a continuous problem with a certain league. BBM Captain Scott by the way withdrew from MLP tonight, apparently leaving BBM captainless. If they can't find a replacement captain BBM faces removal from MLP, and either a replacement league will be allowed in to play BNR and BA, or they'll just be a Bye. If that happens it wouldn't be the first time early in a season BBM had left a season. They did it season 2. Interview with Luis coming up.

OK, comments section from the last post gave me a pretty good idea. Now, after all this junk with ivey being DQed in the Breakers Alley matchup, you're the head admin of MLP and you need to decide what to do. Ivey wasn't eligible for last week's match either, couldn't have been. Last season you saw a league lose a ton of wins after it was discovered well after an incident a player was playing on someone else's name, so now...You have these options:

1: Reverse the win Ivey had from last week as well. Or...

2: Leave the win from last week alone.

3: Other, and explain what you would do.

Well after that whacky night last night, what else could happen?

Break and Run @ BlackSilver This could happen. Now first off, let me say BNR got the arse end of the divisional draws because...if they were still in the Mountain they could easily be a playoff threat. Now they really need to dig and scrape for it even more. After that match against BeerBallers (which they would've won had someone noticed Ivey's tourney record, bummer) they just simply took what BBM gave them. Teams like BNR and BA get underestimated early on, and that's why they're so dangerous in the early goings. With BlackSilver keeping Eddie, it'll be tough for BNR to win this match, but I do think if they play their cards right, Break and Run can steal an upset W here. If they, it's gonna be those same guys I keep talking about that need wins, badalnighter, patriciamalkin, and redhot. Obviously kellyhero can easily be added in there as well, along with bigjerm if he shows. They'll need their A+ game tonight, but I think they have a legitimate shot to win 4-3.

WildAngels @ UnitedPool Angels pulled off a good win last week against XPool, and now they're against UnitedPool. Both teams actually do have some good shooters, the only thing either would need to work on to become deadly in MLP would be decision making, and of course, that'd include when to safety and where to shoot. If ketan plays a little earlier, perhaps he can put some pressure on the Angels team, and possibly swing the momentum into UnitedPool's favor. I'm gonna say the Angels win 4-3 here, but if ketan plays sometime around game 5 or 6 when it's 2-2 or the Angels lead 3-2, UnitedPool could win.

DreamPool @ ElitePool Now here's a match. I didn't give ElitePool the respect they deserve apparently in the preseason. They pulled off an impressive rally against LPL last week, while DreamPool rolled against the Keepers. That was away for EP, now they're at home, and of course...We all know the big story here, Jack, former EP captain, now with DreamPool. The Elites are gonna be out for blood tonight, and you know what? While DreamPool may very well have the better team, I'm gonna take ElitePool to win this match. The key obviously will be to have more than 7 players tonight for EP, get a little depth going, and pick who plays when very carefully. If they do it right, 4-3 Elites.

ChampionsPool @ HotShotz So, are the HotShotz that good or was BlackSilver just off their game? We'll likely find out tonight. I don't know much about either team however so it's ging to be a pure guess. So let's just throw out 5-2 HotShotz. =\
