Anyways, moving on to this week, we have a pair of Monday 8PM matches, a quadruple-header on Tuesday including 3 at a time at 7PM, and a big finale with Cheap Shotz and Malditos going head to head to finish out the week. Awesome! Let's have some picks shall we?

Monday:

United Nations of Yahoo @ EZ8Pool - UNY are just new to MLP, because of wp lol. Well, they're not bad but they're gonna go down 5-2 to EZ8, like I mentioned in last week's picks. This is of course a match being made up from jada being a childish shithead. Of course, UNY does have a chance if they let EZ8 players DQ themselves. Likely to happen with how they treat each other like such great teammates.

Dreampool @ Pool Masters - DP doesn't have a clue how Case's works. Bear says MLP is all looney. Well that just screams good league to me! Pool Masters, 5-2, at least, even in all their mediocrity.

Tuesday:

Cue Keepers @ Pool Legends - JUST because I picked CKP to go 11-3, I think they can potentially pull off an upset. Remember jada's gone, after he played crybaby after losing to LuckyShots (lol.) I think PL are vulnerable this week, might win 4-3, but the Cue Keepers who will hopefully be at full strength are my pick. Mick, Pommy, Rob, they SHOULD be close enough to sure wins, a couple other CKPs should be able to get the job done.

EZ8Pool @ BritPool - EZ8 4-3. They are a more talented league but not so head-and-shoulders above BP that they'll blow them out. Now if something goes wrong in the UNY match... It could change this match completely. Few things to note though, river_blake is damn good, paris in flamez is good too, Romper's capable of getting wins, heavymetalisbest can win early games... Don't be surprised to see an upset.

United Nations of Yahoo @ Lucky Shots - Pick subject to change, based on how UNY actually look against EZ8, but I think they should handle Lucky Shots pretty easily. 5-2 win. MAYBE 4-3 but they need more than just moonlite and Nikki to try and actually win games.

Break and Run @ 8Ball Runners - BNR's OK, but not even close to 8BR. Runners picked up a huge W last week, finally winning like they're capable of, expect that to carry over into this one as they go through the cupcake portion of their schedule leading up to a PFN rematch week 8.

Wednesday:

Blazing Cues @ PoolFiction - lol...

Pool Loverz @ Hot Shotz - Essentially 2 evenly matched teams. This will probably end 4-3 one way or the other. I'm gonna pick Pool Loverz here despite really thinking HS are slightly better. PZ are a sucktacular 9/26 and they're due for a win, especially if Lenny and lally can handle the likes of pooldude and lager.

Thursday:

Malditos @ Cheap Shotz - While PFN is vastly better than the other 2 4-1 teams, these two get to battle for sole possession of 2nd place (via tiebreakers.) Malditos and CZ have had essentially similar schedules full of mediocre opponents. I think between the two though, Cheap Shotz have more reliable go-to players that they can call on for big wins. For MLD, Miz will return to form, tino will be tino, chex is 4-0. CZ has Mickey at 3-0 with boothe420man, but I'm not entirely sold on cardiff yet though he looks like the 4th head in the Cerberus-like weapon CZ has. The 3rd? Navin.

Surprises and Disappointments:

American League:

The biggest surprise in the AL? BritPool being 3-2. We all sort of knew they'd be OK but I expected OK to mean 2-3, maybe 1-4 with a couple rough 3-4 losses. This league is not a fluke, they will be in the Playoffs and odds are, they'll be at least 3rd in the League. Their one concern is they need one more reliable player. They have paris, metal and of course blake. I think Romp will be that 4th. He certainly had the ability to be Romper in the past. He needs to find that ability again.

As for a disappointment, Cue Keepers. While PM are a bigger name, they've been declining ever since the end of the last PRO season. Cue Keepers meanwhile have had players even before Mick and Pom who could at least give leagues a respectable match, but have never gotten eligible. That's what the big disappointment is. They'll surge through the rest of the season and nab perhaps a wildcard spot, and THEN watch for em to do damage amongst the rest of the AL.

National League:

Not much in the NL surprises me. There's a major disappointment but I'll get to that in a moment. If I had to go with one, it'd probably be Malditos, but they're only a win better than I figured they'd be. I would've tagged them as 3-2 at this point if you showed me their team for week 1. Miz really adds a lot to the team, as a very reliable source of wins.

The disappointment, and I will harp on these guys maybe all season solely for the fact that they have 2 losses, 8Ball Runners. Far and away the most talented team in MLP. Top 5 all-time easily,TALENT-wise that is. One problem: They're barely even top-15 maybe in terms of all-time best leagues in MLP. When your team consists of about 5 leagues from the previous season, unless those leagues all sucked (lol dp last season in playoffs) you should be 5-0 with maybe 1 tough game (PFN.) And despite being the most talented team, they've shown in the early goings that they can't play like it, and that is why when they have to run through potentially 3 games to even reach the World Series, they won't. While I tagged them for 11-3... 9-5 isn't such a longshot.

So there ya go. I've gotta run BLT tonight whee!
