Q: The biggest ever longshot to make the Playoffs, replacing a league that was beat more than the Baltimore Orioles against the Braves, how did you guys get through the Playoffs with a lot stacked against ya?
A: I think its because nobody expected much out of us. We got overlooked and they thought of us as an easy win being the #8 seed and all. We went into each week without much expected. If we lost, its what was expected. We had a lot to gain and nothing to lose.

Q: You breezed through the first 2 rounds, beating the top-of-the-NL Pool Hustlers and then taking down the rivals who smoked you right before the end of the season. What went different from the regular season and Playoffs, especially the PM match?
A: Nothing has changed as far as the players and what we do. Just getting a few more lucky bounces i guess. I stuck with the same players i have all season and installed trust in them to lead us as far as we can go in the playoffs. Each round i had the thought that wow im so happy we made it this far, anything farther than this is a huge bonus, and that started by just making the playoffs and continued each round in the playoffs. The pm match in the regular season....we got smoked. I think in the playoff match with them we came out with a bigger chip on our shoulder and felt we did have something to prove against them...luckily, we made a big statement.

Q: Regul8ors match. The longest match of your post-season. To you, what impressed you the most about your team aside from winning it?
A: Um you took away the easy answer you bastard. I'd have to say that everyone remained positive and i felt in the atmosphere that we were going to win even when we were down 3-2. Nobody got upset or left the table or anything. Everyone just stayed calm and relaxed. That's what i love about my team, we dont have the little kiddies whining about stupid shit or the drama going on. We just have fun and do our best.

Q: What? Players in the World Series who aren't over-emotional are you kidding me? Wow... I think that could've been 5A on why this World Series is unique...
A: unhuh its not a dream cubby, i promise :)

Q: World Series starts Tuesday. have you given any advice to your team or is it just same ol', same ol', win the match and we'll go out for pizza if my girlfriend doesn't castrate me?
A: lolololol Nah, not much advice. Basically, most obvservers said we couldn't win vs. ph, pm, or regs(i guess u did get this one right huh cubby? shit does happen :) ). So we have nothing to lose once again. We're just a lowly 8th seed going to the World Series and should get swept by the powerhouse team. If that does happen, what a great season we had to make the WS. If we upset them? then obviously i'm a tad happier. Either way i'm so proud of our whole team and league in general. It's just been an awesome run! ....About the girlfriend....yeah she's not liking the whole yahoo pool too much, if i'm not single by Thursday i'll be shocked.

Q: Bonus Question: Who wins a World Series first? Pool Legends or the nOrioles?
A: lol. Considering that we have no injuries on our team and the Orioles have like 19, i'll say pl :) But that's not an excuse, they are in a little slump, no biggie, u can have that division as long as we get the wild card :)

#1: The lack of a #1 seed - Season 2: It was PFN and SS, the 2 #1 seeds in their respective conferences. In 3, Pool Outlaws smoked the entire NL and went back for seconds on a few teams as they rolled to an undefeated season, and won the World Series in 3, they were the NL #1 seed. Season 4: Those wascawwy wabbits from PoolFiction go again, and they were the #1 seed in the AL. A #1 seed was the eventual winner of the World Series, not happening this time.

#2: Where's the Reg. Season Champs? - StraightShots won it in Season 2, and the World Series. Season 3, PO, you know the story. Season 4, PFN, you know the story. Season 5, PO, you... Don't see them anywhere. Quez were #2 in the AL, PL was... Well they weren't #1.

#3: How did the low seed get here? - This is the first time anyone lower than a 3 seed (PFN in Season 3) has made the World Series.Is there ANY stopping PL? Well...*looks at Quez* probably.

#4: Huh? Who are these new guys?!?!? - Pool Legends REPLACED a League, and came in 1-5? Uh... E, nuff, said. And also, neither Quez or Pool Legends were in MLP last season, at least the actual leagues weren't. So this is the first World Series not involving 2nd-season or more Leagues.

#5: Hey you idiots the Tour counts! - Neither League has a Big League Tour victory. Sure Luckydog won one for Regs during the 3 minutes he was with them (which doubles the time spent with his girlfriend on MLP nights) ;) but for PL? Not so much. Quez? ...No.

So basically, those are 5 reasons you may not know what to expect out of this World Series because...never been anything like it! Mental advantage to PL though, they were expected to go out rd. 1, 2 at best. Well, what do they have to lose? Talent advantage: QZ. QZ is expected to smoke the Legends, but who knows? Luckydog may have that slingshot loaded and aimed high, they do say the bigger they are the harder they fall, this WILL be a 3-match World Series.
