World Series Pick (Match 1)

OK so uh... I picked Cue Keepers WAY back to reach the World Series, even while they sucked, against Poolfiction. I didn't count on PFN being literally made 8BR's personal bitches all throughout this season, but I was close enough.

In match 1, which I probably won't see a lick of... 8BR is the home league. No real edge either way. 8Ball Runners are 5-2 both home and away, and CKP is 3-4 at home, 4-3 away. Room doesn't matter one bit. Both leagues have had a scare, and a sweep. 8BR holds the beter record and a better streak. Both leagues have struggled as the favorites, in the regular season. On paper, 8BR is a slight favorite. But who the hell is gonna win this thing?

8BR's strategy needs to be to go right after Cue Keepers. You need to look at who CKP throws out first. If they put out a cupcake game 1, and try to walk their way down the depth chart, you need to throw out a big gun like Coma or Declan. Now, how the Cue Keepers can counter this, as the away league, is if they throw Mick right out there game 1, if he's available. Since coming back, Mick hasn't exactly been Mick. The layoff from ypool is still showing minor effects, and he has been a little more inconsistent than usual. I put him out there game 1 and try to bait out one of their guys. Both leagues have 4 players who are good for wins, 80% of the time. We're gonna see Pommy vs. MJ, we'll see Neo vs. Andy, kid vs. Declan, whatever. Something like that. As the home league going on an absolute tear right now, I take the 8Ball Runners in 6 over the Cue Keepers, IF everyone shows. If even one of those big 4 (Dec, Coma, Andy, or MJ) are not there, CKP takes match 1 in 5 games.
