Thoisday Picks
UnitedPool @ XPool - I'll be watching this to see if 0-2 xxx_chokey_xxx starts talking it up again. I like UnitedPool in this one but really the match could go either way. Not really leagues I know a lot about, that's gonna change in the next couple weeks :\ 4-3 UP.
PoolMasters @ TourneyPool - This one I like PM. TourneyPool have a 4-3 loss where they started down 3-0, and a slap in the face loss to Absolute Finest, where PoolMasters have a less crushing loss to the regs, and a dominating 6-1 win. Then you look at individual performances, and you'll see more often that PoolMasters, and I especially like Luckydog who has won a pair, and gone real deep in the Tour's cam jumps in the first 2 weeks, I got my computer business all settled and I'll hopefully be able to record all the matches now, and who knows maybe I can play the role of Jay Bilas ;) ...Or not. By the way, PM 4-3 here. None of the "jackass" leagues playing tonight, so hopefully I won't need to give someone a grand flogging on this :)
Wednesday Night
PoolHustlers @ PoolPals - 2 wins is great after 2 weeks...Unless those are individual wins and then...well it's already panic time. PoolPals felt that urgency as they faced the PoolHustlers in Back Spin tonight. Pals would get off to a great 2-0 start after DALLAS_PLAYA beat Rocky Ireland, and memories_4_saken beat pakipoolking666...who would YM me to bitch about being aimered. Suck a thumb or something larger. Game 3...Theike? Big-time win, down 2-0, granted it's Pals...who just douled their win total in 2 games, but with the struggles PH has had, down 2-0 is a big win. Theike confidence meter: It's at the "getting there" level. Then, well...Pals got back to losing. They blew the next 5 games, including game 4 where scpoolplaya knocked down the awe-inspiring side-english cuebank off the bottom rail, nailing top right. That tigave PH their first lead of the night, Krunal and Adnan finished it. 5-2 PH comes back big.."We are Hustlers!!!" Ask Theike for the site he gave me.
LuckyPool @ PoolFighters - I picked LKP to lose that means they win...right? Couldn't tell by the looks of it early, Eskim0s won, as did the_hure and yes that is PF Brandon. But then Sticky Green took down Danny, ypools_god made a large contribution, and we're tied 2-2 here too. But...get up, and get out of here LuckyPool. Scotter, the lead back to PF. Luis, the 4th win over Jenn, and Corey against Big_Game, the salt in the wound. Another match that was 2-2, ended 5-2, PF wins and continue their dominance down there in the NL Pacific.
Speaking of supremacy and all that, PFN in the Central, looking to stay level with DreamPool after their amazing win. It was PoolFiction @ LPL - A match which ruffer guaranteed LPL would win. Without ogges. Game 1, Marky Marko Polo. a7x_mark just doing what he does best in the early games, that's winning and making it look like hitting a hanging slider. Game 2, well I bet they wish they had ogie now, they wouldn't have had to use Joker because...he's 22 days idle in LPL DOH! If only you guys didn't switch the match time...Then, it wou;d've been 21.(insert number) but still...Anyways 2-0 PFN CoolDude credited with the W. LPL getting whooped? I think not. Moe takes game 3, he beat british pool wizard, po0lscientist knocked out a disoriented jammy, and just like that it's dos-dos. Jeremy Doyle...The silent legend for PoolFiction you don't see him in a whole slew of interleagues but...Oh he's good. He puts away rizken, stops LPL from getting the lead. Game 6, Coma not around, the new guy _soapbox_, left a league to join a team his former league was in action tonight...More on that later...As for now, well...Romper was his matchup. Romper was his superior, and we'll head to game 7...3-3, Mick's sitting at the computer thinking "oh jesus lord what did I do to deserve this?" Well, all I'll say about this game 7 is...Great performance on both sides, last week was a better game 7, but this ranked up there with it until the end...Mick getting luckier than a man who goes to the Playboy mansion on trampoline night...three times. Ruffer made quite a few key mistakes headed down the stretch, unable to finish after Mick scratched very late, and PoolFiction narrowly escapes with another 4-3 win, man they look like last season's Outlaws.
Speaking of last season's Outlaws they're all over in Quez. They're all hosting MadSkillz, and they're all slapping the taste out of the Quez pussy pottymouths. And now...The MadSkillz-Quez match, reported by camtasian_aimer, that's Champion Chris, of MadSkillz.
MZ vs QZ
In my opinion, this had to be the match of the night. Either this match or lkp vs pf, both looked good on paper. Lets see how it went down...
Match #1: qz_CrazyGeek vs mz_Easy_Rider_Always
Game 1... Ryan vs ...Who? Thats Owen, previously known as Outlaw#### (forgot the #'s). So the game begins with a couple safetys, nobody really taking control of the game, until ryan makes a mediocre at best safety, and owen looks to go for the run....... looking good so far, he's sunk a couple balls, working on his 2nd, 3rd, 4th balls! Looking like an early lead for mz if he doesnt ..... oh, he choked... on the pink, he sunk it in the bottom right pocket, but he accidentally knocked the 8 into his mess of stripes... so he is forced to give up his turn. Now, Ryan with all his balls left, hesitant on weather to go for the run or not, but he decides to. He sinks his 1st couple balls well enough, then runs into trouble when he cant bust his group of like 3 stripes out, so he safetys pretty well, leaving Owen's only shot a TOUGH cue bank where he would have to cut the 8 ball into the bottom right pocket (cue ball is near top right pocket, 8 ball is about halfway to the bottom right, all ryan's balls in the way).... So owen thinks about it for a little bit, checks his options, even looking at a 3 rail possibility for a few seconds. Finally he aims his cue and... Sinks the 8?! Holy shit, best shot of the night by far was right there, I have the cam recording if anybody wants to see it but it was one hell of a shot! (ym mr_clutch2005) Out of nowhere Owen gives mz the 1-0 lead.
Following this game Ryan refused to report, saying the admins will have to do it for him because he doesnt wanna report to an aimer (game was not on camtasia, but thats no excuse to assume anybody is aimer). Not long after, kay.la reported it, and low and behold when i checked daily results... qz_CrazyGeek was penalized for an unreported match ..... well thats settled, but even the qz captain kevin got in on the action, saying something about mz not being good in playoffs because camtasia is manditory? Hmm.... on to next game!
Match #2: qz_xlx_snake_eyes_xlx vs mz_Craig0198
Game 2... The Always-opinionated Joshua vs Craig from MZ... game starts off normal, except Josh is in SUPER safety mode... easy open shots and he is safetying giving craig v hard shots... possibly trying to get into craig's head? Who knows, but whatever the case it didnt work, as craig stays with josh in this safety battle decking out safety after safety afte......... zzzzzzz........ *bump* oh im SO sorry, i was just watching the game... back to the reporting. 1st real advantage of the game comes 10 min later when Craig finally gives up bih to josh's relenting safetys. Josh looks like he's gonna go for the run...... breaks his balls out, all looks good so far... sinks one, then one more... now he has a toughie.... long shot on orange with no line (after the ball) from the bottom half of the table, into the top left pocket... Josh lines it up.... takes his time, puts some spin on and lets it rip what looks to be full power... unfortunately, the cue ball goes CLEAR around the table, scratching in the same pocket the orange went in... Very bad luck Josh, next time dont hit it so hard! Josh then proceeds to claim it was all yahoo's fault and that ball shouldnt have scratched... we've heard it before josh, shut up :). Craig takes the well-deserved BIH and runs the open table, 2-0 mz.
Match #3: qz_C_o_w_b_o_y_y vs mz_sniper_aims
Game 3... Yes thats last seasons MR 7TH GAME for PO, kevin, taking on trav from mz, a player ive noticed to have alot of running skills. Sniper starts off by running 4 balls on kevins break, and JUST missing a tough cue bank cut shot, that if he got, would have left an easy table for him. Instead, kevins turn, and he starts going for the run, only to make a mistake and end up not running it (I dont know too much about how he missed, blame josh and his YMs bitching about losing to craig)... So anyways, next thing you know, sniper has one ball left close to the pocket and the 8 is jammed, he sinks his ball and ALMOST gets the 8 out, not quite, was a great try though. Kevin starts to run out the open table until he is faced with a straight in shot to the top left pocket, but instead tries to cut it into the top middle... the ball hits the tit, and knocks his cue into the pocket for a scratch... there's insult to injury, sniper takes BIH and sinks his 8, its not 3-0 MZ.... Wow, at this rate, can you say 7-0?? we'll see...
Match #4: qz_kyle69_ vs mz_x8x_king_of_pool_x8x
Game 4... No thats not Amar, thats a guy named Taylor (Amar couldnt make it)... Anyways, kyle is gonna try to at least get ONE win on the board for qz, they arent totally dead yet, but with Chris, King, Pete to come after this match, even hardcore qz fans have to be thinking they are in some serious shit... The game starts off with Taylor trying to run as soon as he gets the cue.... usually a bad move in MLP unless you really know how to run a table. He gets 3 of his stripes down then is forced to safety to kyle. Kyle and Taylor exchange a few safeties... At this point, i was getting lots of ym's and accidentally left the room, and when i got back, Taylor had run a couple more of his balls but still didnt have a TABLE run going... shame... so he safetys again and kyle safetys again, blah blah, until kyle finally feels he is able to finish off the table... he has no problem getting down to the 8 ball, but misses a REALLY easy 8! oh no! and with only one ball left for Taylor, its looking like qz is gonna be dead in 4!...... but wait... no.... Taylor misses an easy shot, kyle pots his 8 the 2nd time, mz still leads, 3-1.
Match #5: qz_the_pool_apprentice vs mz_camtasian_aimer
Game 5... Yes thats me, im so proud of myself i get to report on myself yay! hehe... im up against kenny, a very respectable player whom i know im gonna have to play well to beat... And, just on a side note, Kevin used up ALL of his 10 min timer except 24 SECONDS trying to get James online to play me... I guess im that hard to beat? well thanks for the ego boost *proud*... Now, back to the game... Kenny does a half-power cheapass safety break, not even breaking them up, so I said f*ck that and broke em up myself... didnt sink anything though... kenny decides to safety again with plenty of open shots available, and i make him pay for it, by running the table on him... Not much to say about this game, i just didnt miss and was able to get all my balls out and sink them, bang, the camtasian aimer struck with a clutch run to give mz the 4-1 lead and a sure WIN for the day. Perhaps we can get some overkill now?
Match #6: qz_will_99_9992001 vs mz_Xx_ANTI_apocolypse_HERO_xX
Game 6... No, i dont know who will is either, but we all know pete! Unfortunately i didnt catch most of this game, because when i ran kenny's ass he proceeded to call me a banger and i just HAD to prove him wrong ;-)... But what I do know is pete made a good few last shots to win his game, making it 5-1 mz going into the last game.... game 7, that means Mr Clutch himself, King Hustler is playin! vs who? come check it out
Match #7: qz_P_a_u_1 vs mz_king_hustler2005
Game 7... Here's a good match, Paul, known as one of the best shooters in yahoo, going against king hustler, the best new thing in yahoo since sliced bread... lets get it on! start of the game, after a mediocre break, king and paul engage in a safety battle.... whats new? 1st advantage goes to paul, who is able to out-safety the hustling king and sink a few of his balls, however he cant finish the run, ball back to king. King, after safetying and toying with paul for a bit like a cat toying with a mouse, goes for a run to finish qz off in style... only to mess up the leave on his LAST ball, putting one of paul's 2 stripes in the way of his shot.... quite unlucky, but thats the penalty for sloppyness... he makes a valiant attempt at a cue bank but just misses, and now paul has 3 easy shots to finish the game... but on HIS last ball, his backspin doesnt work, leaving a fairly long shot on the 8......... You know that yahoo, where when you hit the 8 with no spin, the cue ball goes flying for no particular reason and the 8 doesnt go very far? Yes, well, that happened to paul, and although that happened, paul had enough distance on it to get the 8 to the pocket... just not IN the pocket... yes, paul mis-aimed it and it missed... King, being the "cerebral assassin", if i may use a WWE term, takes full advantage of his good fortunes and finishes paul off for the stunning 6-1 WHOPPING of the qz. Final score, MZ 6, QZ 1. Thx to cubby for letting me make a report, i know i could never do as well as he does at em, but hopefully I did good enough to let him trust me with more matches :)
Thanks again Champ Chris...whoa wait guys, think I'm done? Hell no. According to Chris, Kevin said during the whole aimer ordeal: "calm down, mz wont do good in playoffs because camtasia is a must"...OK, now Chris got no reason to lie to me. I ask you this. When was the last time you heard a captain named Kevin get bitch-slapped in a match so badly he accused the other team of using aimers? Yep, that was ElitePool last season. Now...I ask you this. Who thinks Kevin's a little pussy for not just coming out and saying "aimer" like his little boy CrazyGeek did? Yep, immature little dumbasses running their mouths like little bitches, jackal-dx in any match he's not a part of, Kevin in any match his team gets so raped they just wanna go into hiding for the rest of the season, after Paul sissying out last week against the Outlaws the Quez got what they had coming to them. MadSkillz will play just as well on cam as they will off cam, and as for people, like Kevin: Quit being pussies and bitches. You wanna accuse people of aimer? Say it. You wana make an excuse for your team sucking ass in a match? Shut it. Quez lost because MadSkillz pimp-slapped them and bent them over. Much like ElitePool did to kevin's Outlaws last season. I'm frankly a little tired of Kevin accusing people of aimer every goddamn time he gets whooped in a match, but Scott started with a mile-long leash and that's barely an inch long now, hopefully Kevin is on that same leash. By the way, when MadSkillz outlast the Quez on cam in the playoffs, I will be sitting here giving Quez a dose of their own medicine, and call every single eligible player they have an aimer. :) See if they complain because, it's obviously fair for them to do it. By the way CrazyGeek got 10 days in the sin bin, as the Stone Cold merchandise says: Bye Bye Jack___! :)
