Wednesday Night -_-
MadSkillz @ Wild Angels - "Hello MZ, you've been struggling...So have we. Welcome to our room." Heh...If you're gonna break a losing streak ya may as well blow em outta the water. I mean... I dunno how to give this one to you guys nicely. Game 1, scubzz tries to run the table for MZ's first win and despite the short match time...He didn't. So tinks_stardust now...Uh...OK that was...Not smart 1 bit, yes I'm trying to be nice. Passes up a piece of cake straight shot to the bottom left to try and...I guess bank off the bottom to top middle? Yeah when even I don't know what they were trying you know it's bad...They missed obviously. =\ Nice shot for position on the 8, scubzz wins it 1-0. OK how about game 2? Badgurlneedstobespanked...You know last season she was known (to some people) mostly for her ability to make shots. Oh before I forget while she's running the table here she's against lettmelickit...Oh sorry no more mention of that player, just lost. Table run straight from the break for badgurl, who says the women can't play? jtjrjajvj...I have it copied cuz I ain't taking the time to type it out...Against KyJelly from WA. Down to 1 stripe, he's using backspin to come off the right rail and get the cue under the 8 enough to avoid a foul and make the 8 next shot...Surely jelly will get another shot right? Nah MadSkillz were cruel and unconscious tonight. A great shot, for the easy 8, 3-0. So now soccakeepa, that's formerly ph-alex, gone from PH due to all the Sean business. LuverGirl safeties herself, but fortunately for her...Alex just wasn't planning well...At all. Then missed a top middle shot, said it was intentional...So he can be a bad shooter or dumb shooter cuz 9 times out of 10, a miss like that in that situation...3-1. Alex does however win, Luver couldn't finish, strategy worked...I guess. His shot before the 8 was the only real good one of the bunch, but hey it's the only one ya need sometimes. Next game I only recorded the end of, wasn't all that great except for dis_dain trying a safety on NICE_BAD_BOY...But his 4-game MLP losing skid is over, as he drills a shot from the bottom left part of the table all the way to the top right. EP Captain, you can take your shining love for cam and shove it up your packed rear. (Anyone at the QZ match knows what I mean and ultimately why Tuesday didn't get a post) Next it's Petey time, he won impressively, after a botched run, he played a great safety, even outnumbered greatly in balls left, that'd be 6-0. And former MZ Nat_TheGreat, saving himself for king_hustler...King nails a side-english cuebank, off the left rail, and hitting bottom right. Problem though, it hit the 8 first. Glitchage however, you only lose the cuestick you don't give ball in hand. Nat chokes on the first shot, king wins, 7-0 and there's still 10 minutes before 8:00. Sheesh. games took only about...32-33 minutes. Whatever MZ discussed in their meeting...It worked. So they end their 2-week losing streak, now 5-3...Playing for the Division but it's not very realistic. By the way, MJ and Austin both said they may be getting JJ from Regs...Are you kidding me? All they're missing now is Muta. -_- Angels 2-6, lost 5 straight, this was a team I thought had potential to get into June, doesn't seem likely now. 2 games back, they need these 4-win teams to lose, desperately. Wouldn't hurt to actually win some matches either. Good way to get in.
Pool Outlaws @ XPool - Hey here's something you don't see every day. You think camtasia gets rid of accusations? lol...MVPMJ against the_8ball_imp (Typo, what a shame). Anyone who plays PIT or IPC knows already...Someone's gonna soil their pants here one way or another if they lose. They play on cam, MJ takes about 3 minutes on the 8, trying to make sure he has it read right. Finally makes it and here goes 8ball gimp. Accused MJ of using a ruler, and so...8ball wimp gets boxed, MLP Meeting tonight to discuss all boxes being 10 days by default, and of course what to do in bigger situations, yada yada yada. So Chris just blew all mention of XPool...Sadly. Not that they did anything in this match. Full_Blast won on a fairly tough 8ball shot, aka_chris_soccer? FINALLY has his dang tourney games in. Geez. Picked a good time to do it too. He nails an absolutely perfect shot, making his final ball and resting perfectly on the bottom rail, only place he really could get a shot on the 8. Nails it home, 3-0. Then pool_warrior in a long one, he wins for PO's 4th, they would go on to win 6-1. School in session. Outlaws 7-1, unbeaten in Away games such as this one tonight, and with 42/14 they have the best win/loss record in MLP, finally getting ahead of PoolFiction who had practically been mirroring them. Austin and BadAssOutlaw were the other 2 wins, robbie the only loss. Look at who they didn't have for this match...They're stacked OK? XPool are 4-4, tied with HappyPool, my official surprise down in the Central, could also be tied with CueKeepers if (or when, with SS' season) CKP beats the StraightShots.
LuckyPool @ Regul8ors - Well...The other 8PM match wasn't any more exciting. npm_james won the first game, which I didn't see any of because I didn't have the tables up on the screen, only had one -_- Buuut I did get the other 3 games that actually counted. Lucky20020 for LuckyPool in game 2, trying to run the table against HelpMeSmile. No such luck, safeties himself. Smile then... Hey lucky? This is how you properly run a table, take notes homework due Friday. HelpMeSmile 8 balls 8 shots, that's a ratio for success for all you new kids out there. Licker_blast against _flip_16. Flip wins I dunno why I skipped the whole middle of the game, probably logging in on admin or something -_- Zero Burn against apa_rebel, that's Colonel_KC for the clueless, but Zero wins, yet another for the Regs, that makes it 4-0, that makes me go watch PO-XP until that goes to 4-0, LuckyPool would win the final 3 games however, wins from the_l0ser_l0ser, Lucky Snake, and Goober. So...4-3 Regs still win it, they stay level with PoolFighters at 6-2, and that's all they have to do. They hold the Head to Head lead over PF with their 4-3 win. Next week PF has ChampionsPool...Part of that really tough stretch CHP is going through in their schedule, while the Regs have the BeerBallers who were in action tonight. But first, LuckyPool are now 4-3, and it wasn't a 5-2 result. They're part of a 3-way tie at 4-3 with Hustlers and Masters...Difference is they can both put LKP out of 4th place if they win Thursday. And now...We save the only good match of the night for last.
Pool Pimps @ Beer Ball Masters - Man with miamitreat as captain I don't have to rip on these guys, I love this new BBM team. And despite what those "godly" dicks think that got booted from the team, they've done an excellent job at getting a less troublesome team in the matches. Re Sox caps off to them. Now for the stuff that matters: Pimps only show up with 4 players to begin, it's 1-0 PLP when I show up in game 2 and there's partsguy29 for BBM, against Pimps' rystar03. They pretty much all need to win...Rystar couldn't safety down the stretch to save his life. Tried tapping twice, and he didn't even move the ball at all. Finally he played a bonehead shot, partsguy wins, 1-1. Time to find more players. pcp_is_back against HermitStool. PCP goin for a cuebank, off the bottom rail and hitting the 6 top left. He says cuebanks are his specialty...They aren't. Just missed it, Hermit's turn. He finishes his last 2 stripes, then the 8, 2-1 Pimps lead again. They also have 5 players now. So here's blazer fan against Evil_Walks. Evil...SO does walk. He tries a cuebank of his own, off the bottom rail, drills the 12 along the right rail into the top right, 8 is a cinch, 2-2. Next game, Pimps player Reaper199 DQed for not having 20 games, said he was hacked. Guess you're hanging out with the wrong crowd kid. he'd go on to say MLP has shitty hours, and call someone a dipshit, he's boxed and oh by the way he didn't report. Blazer fan ready to just fold up and go, even though there's a Pimps player asking for an invite. He wouldn't play game 6 either, Drew would after a long delay. Against capacityflaw. End of this one because I kept pausing every time I had to talk with Kim, nails the 1 off the top rail into the bottom middle, and even sets up for the 8. By the way he's required to play on cam. So uh... Yeah that was legit. No aimer accusations either I love it. 3-3...And now lvlr_bacardi, the guy I went and invited so PLP didn't get screwed because of a lazy captain, pressure. He's against dragon_angel02. Bacardi down to a few solids and decides he can win it all right here. But no leave on the 6ball, he tries to safety behind it, it stays on the bottom rail. Dragon goes to work on her final 3 stripes. Nails them all easily, gets into position the 8..........Easy shot no drama here. BBM wins it 4-3, and they're now 4-4 on the season, in 4th place, but CHP is at 3-4 with a game to make up still. BNR also 3-4, they play PM Thursday night. Pimps...2-6. They just simply can't do anything and you know why? I'm about to tell you.
Pool Pimps have consistently been unprepared more than any team this season, and it's even worse than Breakers Alley when they have to struggle to get a team. But when you do the math... It doesn't add up. Pool Pimps are, member for member, the largest league in MLP. They're listed as having 4,071 members as of 11:33 AM today. You can check out a list of the biggest Case's leagues http://www.myleague.com/my/largest.php there. When I woke up this morning, I decided to look into it. Their main pages, all 3 of them, have no mention at all of any interleagues. Last night when I checked their room, I asked how many pool pimps were online, weary that no tourneys had been run since 7:00, I was answered by at least 4 players. lvlr_bacardi wasn't even one of them, he had simply been at the match at the right time, and didn't give up when Blazer did. The reason they gave for MLP having "shitty" hours is people work. That's an absolute joke for a league that held 11 tourneys schedule between 7:00 and 10:00. The problem then...Has to start, and end, with the captain and admins of PLP. The captain has much more responsibility due to the, quite frankly, stupid decision not to inform the members of interleagues. IF the players know about them, you'll have a lot less trouble fielding a team of 7 players. It has nothing to do with MLP's scheduling, nothing to do with the scheduling of workplaces, it comes down to a captain not willing to put in the effort, and a page design team not willing to help him out. At this rate, Pimps may well finish 2-13...Without even playing 7 games in any of them. One may expect this to be the last season for Pool Pimps in MLP, a league who had one of their league's Admins as the H/A of MLP for some time. I guess as they say...The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
