Ok So last night HP fields one player (who loses), and ends up being the only HP player who shows....props to you son. LPL 4-0 GG's gl next season. PM defeats PF in 6....Luis and Kevin picking up the PF wins while 4 nobodies picked up wins for PM....j/k i love u guys :P So tonite has MZ @ QZ comin your way at 7pm and HS @ REG at 8. Interesting!

Who's Gunna Win?: Mz. If anyone remembers, when Mz kicked the crap outta Qz in the regular season, Qz captain Kevin called Mz a bunch of aimers and said they wouldn't go anywhere in playoffs. All of a sudden Mz has some motive... and a big one at that. Not only that, how would you feel playing against a team in the first round of the playoffs who called you a bunch of cheats? I know I'd wanna kick the shit outta them too. Combine this w/ cocky YIM status messages from Qz players, and Mz will be fuming :) I know I picked Qz to win AL but i just got a feeling they won't pull this out. If Madskillz gets their full team their they should win. Mz in 6.

We're still in Round 1 mode, Some NL action and some lack thereof in the AL, but I did nail a pick exactly of the 2 ;) *head grows*

HappyPool @ Lava Pool Lounge - HP only brings...1, count em, 1 player to the match. Stu_Monster and he doesn't even have cam but JUST LIKE AUSTIN DID FOR BP, SEE DAN? LIKE AUSTIN DID FOR BP, GET IT, GOT IT? GOOD. -_- Ogges lets him play a non-cam game just for the sake of playing. Moe would win that game however and eventually LPL would get a forfeit sweep win, and move on to face the Outlaws next Monday. Now, doesn't this look familiar? LPL-HP Season 2, LPL brings just 1 eligible player (ogges) and HP gets a sweep win. Season 3, Mephy banned for cheating during the match and all of a sudden we've had 2 LPL-HP no-matches, LPL got this one. Season 4...Neither team made it. Will this match EVER happen in the Playoffs?!?!? Come on! Doesn't look good by the way when you blow off a Playoff match with 21 leagues wanting in for the next season, bit of advice there.

Pool Masters @ PoolFighters - We got drama before this crap even starts. Corey supposedly misread the time for the match (and the Yankees beat the Sox in the 2004 ALCS right?) and went to PM asking for a change in times, didn't get it, cussed out Matt, then tried to tell me it wasn't about MLP, blew off the team until he came back only to find out he was boxed, and the dip wonders why I hurt his feelings half the time. Back to the intelligent people: Ehkohz got a close win over PF's Girl_E_ despite multiple bribe attempts from silly Lulu :p to give the Masters a 1-0 lead, a lead that they would hold for a very long time. MRSR Pool Perfection, against countrygirl, country looking to tie the match up...not so much. 2-0 PM. Game 3, PF we need a win! Ody_sseus, that's that houy_hnhnm_m guy, against maxpowers007. Despite multiple bladder attacks PF wins a game! it's 2-1, no in-depth report obviously because...Ace Combat 5 is quite addictive. Game 4, Adnan has i_havethep0wer almost dead to rights...No such luck. Matt gets out with a win, it's 3-1, NL match threatening to end in 5 again. But Lulu got something to say about it, he sweats out a win over LBCDogg. 3-2, and I had to go. I do notice Krunal ended up losing to Crazy_Que, and PM knocks off PF in 6, and we've got Legends-Masters II.

So far the Playoffs have gone without anyone with at least a 50 IQ causing any trouble, we had our inevitable timer forfeit, but I do question how much of a threat PF will be if they're still around next season. With the high possibilities of losing Luis, Houy, and Tanja (for starters) how much worse will it actually get? In order to be remotely competitive I think PF's gonna have to do what PH did in the past before this season and just bring in kids who play a game in their home league every few weeks and call it eligible. I think next season the NL, if PF and PH stay there, is going to be even more wide-open than ever. It's almost a shame to see one of the more consistent teams in MLP history go down this hard, but when your Captain's team attitude "sucks [weiner]" I guess you could see it coming weeks away. Next Season, I'm callin it now, will be a battle between the smaller leagues. PH could look a lot different, PF even worse, PFN's one of those that could end up suspect, Absolute Finest may or may not even return, it was said back around week 6-7 they wouldn't. Can LPL stick together? Newcomers and small-time leagues are going to have big-time seasons for Season 6 and I guess now it just comes down to waiting. We've still got a few weeks of Playoffs to finish up for this season, tonight it's Quez and MadSkillz, and HotShotz-Regs. The big Wildcard in the AL: Will MadSkillz get their full team? If they do, Quez will have their hands full, and Kevin's comments have to be lingering around in his head. He called them aimers. This is on cam. Can he avoid a major embarassment? TIme will tell.
