Wednesday Picks

It's hump day, and there are some...not very close matches I'd say tonight. But, even though Hill's pickem is in a Bye week, nothing wrong with making picks anyways right? Let's get to it.

UnitedPool @ Pool Outlaws - I'm not giving Uniteds a legitimate chance in this match...and that's usually when a team totally surprises everyone. But in this case, as long as the Outlaws don't leave simple cake shots assuming UnitedPool players suck, because they certainly don't, they should win this 6-1 as they did last week in that matc...er, not really a match, against SuperbPool. I'll say 5-2 though just to be a little cautious.

Bearskin Eightballers @ Break and Run - Yep, EZ8's replacement. I can't really make a pick though on this because BE could easily have changed in the past year or so. But it is their first week, they're kinda on short notice, so logically I gotta take BNR to win this...GET IN THE PLAYOFFS GUYS! lol. 5-2 BNR

HappyPool @ CueKeepers - These two seem pretty evebly matched. However, HP's 2 losses are both away losses. But to be fair, CKP hasn't won at home either, in just 1 attempt. Not knowing a lot about either league, but HP was quite impressive in their win over ElitePool last week. CueKeepers doused the fire of a BritPool team that looked really good in week 1, but I do like the Keepers in this one. You put craig, playinpool, and Brandi on a team, and they can cause some trouble especially with home advantage. I'm taking Cuekeepers to win 4-3 or 5-2.

BeerBallers @ ChampionsPool - OK so BBM officially 1-2, legitimately 0-3, and EZ8 leaving really helps them because they'll beat BE, but EZ8 could've 5-2ed 'em. So, ChampionsPool...A team that beat BlackSilver, which so far hasn't been anything to brag about. But CHP beat 'em in 6...that's worth celebrating. Can the BeerBallers finally get their act together and start winning again? Well I guess that'd be the question. League of big-name players, against a small league, PH-BNR from season 3 shows...That can be bad. 3 seasons of MLP also shows...Some umps just don't let it start. So, that won't be an issue, I think the BeerBallers get a real win tonight. Don, Scott, Aaron, clogz, they're all talented. Problem is they've been beaten as a team and it's beyond me exactly how they've managed to fall 1-2. They should easily rebound though, and win 5-2 in Reckless Life, as long as they haven't lost all hope in themselves. It's a 15-week season, you don't need to start 4-0 to win a division, though they won't finish above PF, the turn-around starts here.
