Yoda Cup Week 1
The Finals featured ThaLunatic from Wild Angels, facing off with cue.ball from Pool Legends. Lunatic beat UnPredictable of UnitedPool in round 1, then faced off with teammate uslander who got a timer win over LuckyDog who again failed to contribute past the final week of the season. He then beat BNR player Something_Smooth and moved on to the actual challenges - A winner of the IND vs. IND battle, RvDBLADE. After that he took on the winner of the War of the Lords, lord.scott who beat lord.vampire. After sneaking by that Outlaw with a few breaks, Lunatic was in the finals.
As for cue.ball, he got a Bye in the 1st round and then took out an Angel himself, lil_pool_criminal. From there he too faced a teammate for his 2nd game, and beat ll_wendi_ll. After that, it was arguably he biggest challenge of the night, Nice Racks newcomer Pita, fresh off his little vacation. Cue was able to win and move on to chris.dogg, yet another of these dot fad names, this one from DP.
In the finals, the breaks Lunatic got finally caught up to him. Scratched not once, but twice over the 2 games with the game well in hand, and allowed cue.ball to escape with the win in just 2 matches. It's sort of fitting the Legends got the win, because they only had about 14 players. Only half of them advanced to the 2nd round.
