Monday Night

Atlantic - Spotlight match MadSkillz @ LPL. Lasted all of 10 minutes. NOBODY showed up for the match. This is for 2nd place in the Division, the match has been there for 11 weeks, NOBODY, not one person shows. Absolutely pathetic. So LPL 6-5, tied with MadSkillz but the Head to Head puts them in front. UnitedPool fell in 5 games tonight to 8BallRunners who are again waking up at the best of times. The 4 wins came from jadakiss_711, LuckyCandi, xlx_oi_xlx, and roach3us, that 4th one coming over ketan to clinch the match. This puts UnitedPool and 8BallRunners in a tie for 4th place at 5-6, the 8BR win alos leaves StraightShots and ElitePool just a game and a half behind in the race for 4th, wins from both teams would put them just 1 game back. Thing is...EP has to beat the Outlaws to do it, and should PO win, they would be the first team to clinch a playoff spot.

Central - DreamPool survived a scare from WildAngels tonight, the match was at one point 3-2 DP but Jack (not jackal-dx) put it away in game 6 for the win. This puts DreamPool 1.5 behind the leaders Quez and PoolFiction, at 7-4. problem is it's guaranteed to be 2.0 because one of them will be 9-2. So still 2 games back from the lead but they survive and stay 2 ahead of CueKeepers and XPool, one of which guaranteed to be 6-5. Also ahead of HappyPool who are also 5-5.

Mountain - ...PoolMasters beat AbsoluteFinest. Who didn't see it coming? SmokeKenny got 10 days for his aimer accusations, remember BBM and PM's match? PM getting constantly harassed for not playing on cam? That was the story of tonight. Y'know, a BNR player complained to me about someone on a throw-away ID cussing him out and calling him an aimer after he put on a show during BNR's match with AF..."I'm not accusing" though Garrett. PM was up 3-0 in this one thanks to zackman beating poor Garrett, mrsr pool perfection over Austen, and jimvan nailing an easy cuebank on lethal dosage for the win, that's when Smokey lost it. Poor guy. AF's rally ended in game 6 with many thanks to...Oh who else? Dynamite_que over derekgnr. Masters go on to win 4-3, they are now 1 game behind AbsoluteFinest, Hustlers looking to do the same, word from AF's captain is as follows: "smokekenny will be benched untill he plays for the game and not his ego" Thumbs up to Sober dayz. So after PM's 6th straight, what happened with HotShotz and LuckyPool? It went to 3-3 and yes it came down to captaining. Game 7 Colonel_KC against Glenno. Who's Colonel? Thumbs down here to LKP's Captain. Glenno took home the win, some "bad_king79" got after Glenno about Cam. Yeah douchebag the guy only won a cam jump and played well in the all-star match last season. Anyways, HotShotz win 4-3, they still need to make up the match with Bearskins, but they're 6-4, LuckyPool falls a game and a half behind now in the battle for 4th, same ol' same ol' for LKP.

Pacific - ...No Pacific matches but lemme give a shout out to this Division again because it's so entertaining!

Sorry for the long post on the Mountain, kinda slopped it all together. No Pacific action until Wednesday :(

Monday Picks

I got competition -_- http://yahoosportscenter.blogspot.com not wise to do that but hey, I'll just work with 'em on this post.

MadSkillz @ LPL - Dazed says 4-3 LPL. At ANY other point in this season I may have easily disagreed with him and called him an idiot. Not so here. And actually I don't think MadSkillz has gotten too much better than last season. You may recall they were 4th in their Division last season, 6th overall in the AL thanks to a win over...Guess who? LPL. That ain't gonna happen here. I think king_hustler could be at work, at the match, at a baseball game, at a gay bar, it may not matter. Both teams will really be fighting for this win, but I think LPL will not just win 4-3, but that they may force king_hustler out before game 7. But, you can't just fall asleep on MZ like Wild Angels did, cuz man they are really good at taking advantage of big mistakes. It should be a really entertaining battle.

UnitedPool @ 8BallRunners - 5-2 8BR...Hmm...That's a good pick. UnitedPool has caught some breaks this season. 8BallRunners need this win to get into a nice little tie for 4th place. yes UP has Ketan and badking who has started actually winning games again, imagine that. But 8BR is hot right now. LuckyCandi winning the Reg Jump last night, the win over PoolFiction last week, they have finally become a team to reckon with. Unlike the beginning of the season where they were horrible, they're now starting to get that little "we belong in the Playoffs" status, and hey what's the easiest way to get in? Winning your matches of course. 5-2 8BR.

PoolMasters @ AbsoluteFinest - This one I sorta disagree with. Dazed has 5-2 PM, I think it'll be 4-3. May not take 7, but I think PM will only get 4. Yes the last really good team AF played schooled em 5-2, and yes PM did beat that team. But I think a couple PoolMasters will make a few mistakes, they certainly haven't been immune to accidents lately, and if they need 'em, they've got damn_balls, jimvan, and my pick for PM's All-Star, dynamite_que playing for them. I'll take everything PM has over what little AF has. Probably should be 5-2 PM, but I'll go with 4-3.

DreamPool @ WildAngels - I can't say much about this one. Even though DreamPool played like BritPool Saturday against StraightShots, they've got a good team. They certainly have a better team than WildAngels. WA has, well, a legitimate chance of upsetting DreamPool, because when it comes to who's more of a team the Angels win that contest. They also had a strong start against LPL before blowing it. DreamPool has better players though, and with all that praise to Dp, I go 4-3 Angels upset 'em. I'm gonna be dead wrong I almost guarantee it, but it's one of those little feelings.

HotShotz @ LuckyPool - This depends on a lot of things. The biggest factor is how does Tyler run this match if he's still captain? If snake is back as captain, then I definately think HotShotz should be ready. Dazed has AceMarked the man to look out for in HS. The guy has played what 2 MLP games including Tours this season? :P It's definately gonna come down to who captains better here but I think LuckyPool will FINALLY get a 6th win in a season. They're gonna win this match, it's gonna be 4-3 LKP and that may be short-changing 'em a little. Jenn, Snake, l0ser, Tyler, good 4 and I'm of course leaving out people. HS doesn't play a huge bunch of safeties from what I've seen, so I don't think Tyler (goober) will lose his temper during his game. But that certainly is a good bit of advice HS if ya wind up against him.

Another All-Star List

Let's do 5 shall we? 1 from each Division, and a Wildcard.

Atlantic: SS_JudgeRules - I've been makin this case for the past week or 2. He could also be the Division MVP in a sense if there were an award given for that. Without him enduring all the team has been through, SS may have very well been out of MLP. Then figure in lately he has a pair of back-to-back 3-3 wins, granted the one against DreamPool was a rather famous DQ, he's probably the easiest choice next to MZ's king_hustler for All-Star.

Central: SP_T_Rocket - Let's pick on the lower-record teams again, T_Rocket has been one I've had from day 1. You may not have gotten to see him early on because he rarely played in situations that mattered, but lately you have and it has been a nice little exhibition. Go download Cam if ya haven't yet tk, cuz as far as I'm concerned you're an automatic vote in.

Mountain: PM_dynamite_que - My WildCard comes from this Division too so sit tight. ...Or scroll down. Anyways, dynamite_que has been just that in recent weeks. Dynamite. Wins the cam jump, saves PM's rear ends aganst Breakers Alley, comes in against ChampionsPool and closes the door in Game 6, I've always been a little weary of picking a PM All-Star because I don't know the full team like the back of my hand despite them being a great team, so thanks dynamite for making my decision a whole lot easier so far. ;)

Pacific: REG_Master_Asia - Finding a player who practically never loses their temper is a rare find. Finding someone who can really play good on a consistent level on top of that is even more rare. Pita is one of those rare finds. You couldn't shoot him 3 times in the leg and piss him off. You'd have a hard enough time just beating him in MLP, and an even harder time making an enemy of him. All those qualities really make an All-Star in my eyes.

WildCard: PH_scpoolplaya - Again there are many great players in MLP, but remember this is just someone who's an easy in for the league they play for, and it covers all the leagues. Brandon is simply the best player in PH throughout this season with apologies to Don. What is he 7-1? Compare him to [Insert whole-season PH Player here] and you've got yourself an obvious All-Star. Unfortunately he won't be able to play on cam in the All-Star matches cuz he relies on that aimer :( :P

My ignorance

Me and ignorance, kinda go hand in hand don't they? I'm pullin the post on scotter because it's sorta like being caught with steroids, the exposure's punishment enough (And MLB should consider somehting like what scotter's likely to get.) I didn't need to start bashing him for it, and I guess that's just me fed up with people who do that crap. It certainly wasn't one bit fair for him to be put through everything I said, so for that scotter especially, and everyone, I'm sorry. I won't go on to say I respect scotter nor will I say he's intelligent for what he did, but after I post this I'm removing the whole Saturday post.
