Thursday Night
Altantic - Not to be confused with Atlantica although many thought BritPool was under the sea, they're now only a game back from 8BR and UnitedPool as PoolFiction got out of their slump in a HUGE way. Mick said before the match "failure is not an option" ...I think he got through, 7 games, 7 wins, excellent ratio, UP swept for the 2nd time, first by the Outlaws, and are 5-7 so now...8BR has the 4th place spot. BritPool has the easiest schedule though of the 3 who have a realistic chance, and if they just get their matchups right, they will be playing in June. It's not an impossible task, watch those teams.Don't discount SS either...Even though it's very likely they lose the final 3, there's always some miracle late in the season. Badking says he's now camming his games after his game with mkr take it how you want I guess.
Central - PFN, got a couple breaks like kansas_elite AGAIN getting horrible luck against PFN, he got glitched a bit against me when PFN played EP, only difference here is it wasn't Yahoo and it wasn't against me. Fiction moves to 9-3 with their first sweep of the season, they're not surrendering that Central just yet. the win snaps a 3-week losing skid, with authority. All eyes now turn to StraightShots and HappyPool Saturday night, HP fighting to keep their lead for 4th in the Central, StraightShots just desperate for a win. No Joey by the way for SS, used his max. switches and quit pool. Judge1417 (got it right) has his back against the wall here and it's not for making out, could be a rather emotional match, but judging from the character of both teams I think you could all learn a lesson in sportsmanship in these situations. But that's just me.
Mountain - PoolMasters, I hear bells I think someone got schooled. That someone is the Bearskins as PM kept up with Pool Hustlers, and moved to within a game of the Mountain Division lead with the 7-0 win, and like PFN they're 2nd by 1 game, and picked up their first sweep. So your week 13 will look like this at the top: Pool legends @ Absolute Finest, ChampionsPool @ Pool Hustlers, PoolFighters @ Pool Masters...Heh, crazy. PoolPimps lost by the way, a DQ in game 2 didn't help PLP at all. A HotShotz or LuckyPool win eliminated the Pimps and BS completely from the Playoffs, STILL no help from the PLP Admins for l3lazer fan, when will the stooges realizes he can't do this on his own, or if they don't want to be in MLP, common sense check, TELL SOMEONE. Everything wrong with PLP's MLP performance practically sits on the Admins' shoulders, so great job to the players who have held in there this far and endured all the crap.
Pacific - Bearskins 3-8, 2 games next week and they're all caught up. Not, dead, yet. They got swept for the 2nd time, they're 2-2 in 7-0 results by the way, the other was to Regs, and they beat BNR and BA. So they're a game and a half out, but more importantly how about ChampionsPool? 6-1 win, final 2 or 3 on timer, and guess what? They're tied with Pool Legends and BBM in a 3-way tie. Neither team has beaten the other 2 so it goes to overall win/loss, that leaves PL and CHP, and even better: ChampionsPool beat Pool Legends 4-3, and now Lucky's absence there really means a lot, but you can't blame him it was a much more important issue than pool that kept him away. But I think it does show that without Lucky I don't think this team can even come close to their best, so now he needs to know that he is the big ace on the team, and really the centerpiece. Read up you'll see who the Legends and Champs play, Beer Ballers play HotShotz, who will also have 2 matches as they get that makeup with Bearskins.
Big finish and leave it to the damned Admins, All-Star week is RIGHT BEFORE WEEK 15! Ack! That's almost as bad as making me wait a day for Celtics-Pacers game 7! I know it sounds like I have no life getting sorta excited about all this, but if you get past the idiots whining and aimer crap and the egos, this can be fun and enjoyable. But MLP holds nothing to watching my Portland Sea Dogs, Boston Red Sox, Celtics, New England Revolution, UMaine Black Bears, insert local team I love here, and uh...Sox, Pats, I do believe the Celtics and Revolution are due :)
