Interview with BritPool Captain mind_da_pool
A: we all need to practice... but i must confess ive been lazy lately... no i wont ask that... i will ask them to keep with their good shooting... to focus when PO matvh comes ... to have fun till there and ... to be online when the time comes
Q: Well no lack of confidence there you've already got 'em prepare dfor the first round lol, what's the one team you really want to meet in the Playoffs?
A: well i would like to meet SS ... im sad about their first time out... i like that ppl much and Roy is( wasand i hope he will) the best capt around, so i really dont know as we are outsiders .. we will just try to pot some balls. PO are a strong team and wont be easy but .. we will try to have our share of fun ... always respecting the great shooters they have .. of course
Q: What impressed you the most about this team? I mean, coming off a 4-9 season something big had to happen
A: was a Q of "luck" and work .. as most capts know our job is not easy... meaning getting the right ppl online same time ... another thing is... dunno y... my players/friends seems to do better when a big challenge comes along ... so .... to cut long story short ... was a combo of luck with pool spirit and heart touch.
Q: Suppose you get to the World Series. 1 game to win the whole thing, if you could put anybody in BritPool up to play it, who do you go with?
A: i would pick Alex aka BP8ball or Blake aka river_blake .... or Slavko or Reil aka Chaos182 but i could give it a try to... if needed ... hard to pick but i wouldnt mind to be in that situation ;) but my instinct tells me... if i had to pick one of those ... all of them would do gr8 ;)
Q: If you could change something from this season with BritPool, what would it have been?
A: the way my team faced some "easy"matches ... as there is no easy matches in MLP ( best itl and toughest around btw ...) we must respect all teams... and somehow that didnt happen all the time .. but we are always learning
Q: Finally, so you can breathe easy once again, any closing comments?
A: my final comment is.... and it wont be a "fake nice one"... i really mean it ... i want to thank all ppl that makes MLP running in such a smooth and pro way... i want to wish VGL to all fair and good shooters around .. w/e their team is ... and i would also like to wish that next season i get the chance to be interviewed again coz that would mean that Britpool , u and myself will be alive .. and sharing the fun of the best game in the world ... after football of course ( in states u call it soccer.. disgusting but true :)) )
Well, they have a rest for Week 15 and are looking for a little help from LPL and MadSkillz to try and stay in the Playoffs. Been one heck of a season and that's bee the theme this season. The smaller leagues making real playoff runs. ChampionsPool, Break and Run was in it all season, UnitedPool's still got a pretty good chance, so BritPool really deserves a lot of credit for this season whether or not they make it. Week 15 is just a couple days away, and we'll see who wants to get some June 6th playing time.
