National League Projected Standings
PLP: 11-3 62/36
8BR: 11-3 69/29
PFN: 10-4 62/36
BP: 7-7 52/46
PM: 7-7 51/47
_______________
BNR: 5-9 47/51
SS: 2-12 27/71
PP: 3-11 22/76
PLP is likely to win 4-3 over 8BR as the Runners will still be without Declan, who seriously should've known better than to run his mouth with 2 very tough matchups for 8BR coming up.
Pool Masters win 4-3 over BNR in a match that basically decides who gets in between those 2 in Week 14, and Pool Pimps DO have to play Straight Shots at the end of the season, and win to take the #1 seed. So what happens from there?
WILDCARD GAME: #5 Pool Masters @ #4 BritPool - While there likely won't be any DQ's, BritPool will find it in them to win 4 on their own, and win it in 7 games. A great open to the NL Playoffs.
#4 Brit Pool @ #1 Pool Pimps - Pimps have won this matchup twice throughout the season, and with more talented players, they'll win here, too, in just 5 games.
#3 PoolFiction @ #2 8Ball Runners - No league has ever owned another league the past 2 seasons like 8BR has destroyed PoolFiction. They will roll easily, 5 games because Jamie will be used as a stopper for Game 4, and it will set up a nice little 1-2 matchup in the NL.
#2 8Ball Runners @ #1 Pool Pimps - Well this is assuming they (PLP) don't implode as a team or find a way to get a key player boxed. 8Ball Runners are the better team, despite what will likely be a pair of PLP triumphs. 8BR, with Declan back and out of trouble, will have much more depth than Pool Pimps have ever had at any point this season, and 8Ball Runners will win, most likely in 6, but I have a sneaky suspicion it'll go the whole 7. MJ hasn't been the MJ any of us have known this season, he will be come Playoff time.
As for the World Series... 8Ball Runners to REpeat as MLP Champions. I'd count Season 7, but it was such a bullshit season that they can call it Three if they want, but it'll be like the USC repeat or three-peat or whatever the hell they claimed. 8BR is no doubt better, deeper, they can beat you even missing one or two of their middle-of-the-pack guys in a best of 3 matches, 8BR sweeps it, winning game 1 in 6, and game 2 in 5.
