Madskillz and StraightShots
Heya all, got a situation to explain lter, for now this was an idea i intended to carry out to its full but simply have'nt had enough time and seens i interviewd jase n gary i figad id post it neways. So here yall are!! Given more time i may do a few more of these!
Ok guys, had an idea for a post which i think you might all find interesting. I intended to do this last week at end of week five because that would be exactly 1/3 of the season but due to one thing or another its coming now. The reason i asked all captains to add me to yim is because i want to ask them how their season is going, whats gone right, whats gone wrong and who has realy stood out for the team so far i.e very early all star candidates. I planned to start with the american conference and move on to the nl, ive now realised coming into contact with all captains is becoming difficult.

Captain: Mr_Blue10
Season so far: Ok mz @ 3-3 for the season and for a powerful team in the weaker of the two conferences it could be argued that isn't good enough. Gary has admitted the season has been disappointing so far with the usual story of toppling the best and coming stuck at the lower teams. However, ive learnt Gary is new to the MZ captain post and has promised to turn things around, the scoreline of 2-5 to qz he felt was undeserved and was due to inhouse fighting, i would say this team needs turning around and forcibly pointed in the right direction. It seems mz now have a captain willing to do this. “it’s a case of turning the season around from now on”.
Allstar? As for an early allstar?? “pete always comes good for us” (mz_peter_rules). I don’t think anyone will argue with that, the guy loves mz and add a tour victory to his solid 7v7 performances you have a player currently having a great season.
Future goals: It seems gary isn’t shying away from the bigger picture, “po, pfn or dp would be nice to take out” Obviously he believes a world series is possible. Time will tell on that one.
My Opinion: Mz have lived up to season 4 and 5 in every way so far .500 after 6 games isn’t what this team should be doing, im sure with gary behind the helm things will be changing fast at mz. Come playoffs we’ll see a ws challenging team.

Season so far: SS are currently tied 3rd in the central division with a respectable 4-2 record, take into consideration that robbed loss v qz and it could have been 5-1, either way its been a good start for a team that struggled so badly last season. heres what jason had to say, "well the downs is not being able to have my team up and ready prior to an hour before", "the ups.. thats when our ss team comes together and plays hard whether we win or lose our goal is to have fun doing it". I know there are a lot of UP players out there that might disagree with that, however just like gary, jason is new to the captains helm and everyone desevres a first night wobble.
Allstar?: Took me a while to get an answer here "honestly ... i trust all of us on the team to come through in the clutch there isnt just one on the team we alll can do that when needed", eventually however he did crack, "JUDGE1417.. he is there every week ready to play and i trust him to take home a victory if needed" This guy im sure you will remember was hyped b cubby in sc in season 5 which eventually led to him being allstar last season. Maybe a repeat is on the cards. Lets be honest you will be hard pressed to find a player so dedicated to the ss cause, "he has always shown what ss stands for .. humble in victory gracious in defeat". Fantastic guy!!
Future goals: "the obvous goal is mlp championship", seems every1 is thinking big!! Anything a bit closer to home jase? "one last goal i would like to achieve would be to start playing better on the road, were 1-2 away"
My Opinion: I said at the start ss would have a completely different season this year, so far they have proved me right and quite frankly if these guys aren'y playing playoff games come january there is something seriously wrong!
