Then, Laura1314 off x_ketan_x, she makes it 2-2, Booze N Spliffs have rallied. UnitedPool reclaimed the lead however, da_nnyboy beating chains_bzns sealed that pretty well. So it's 3-2 UnitedPool. Now, let's give you a Player Profile here, we focus in on King2068. What you need to know: Lowlight of last season was a -15 streak that included multiple 7v7 matches and BLT events. His newest project is an 0-for-August so if he loses here the KC Royals are instantly better than him. He's against FIREVIPER. Now what you need to know about FIREVIPER? Well, he's a good shooter. First, we break. Then, King just sit back, watch. FIREVIPER runs the whole table, makes a sweet 1-rail bank to get to the 8, drops the 8, King says now he's never gonna play off cam again. Which must mean he's calling himself an aimer because he can't exactly make people play on cam. So we're tied 3-3. Game 7, aaron_from_hell for UP, WCW_66 for BNS, we got Capitan vs. Capitan. We also got aaron_from_hell winning his 2nd game of the season in 2 attempts, UnitedPool wins 4-3, their first win of the season, BNS are now 0-for-August.

PoolFiction @ 8Ball Runners - Everybody YM jerfighter and give him a round of applause he was the only scheduled ump that showed up. Now, he got a pretty good match here, the 2-0 PFN team against 0-2 8BR, also flirting with an 0-for-August. Game 1, Kerryanne's good luck in NPA runs out big-time as she gets herself stuck halfway in the top middle pocket, she would give miss.s3xi a clear shot on the 8, game over 1-0 8BR but when it rains it pours. aka_sevenfold falls to xlllx_o7o_xlllx, his first win of the season for 8BR and the 2nd of the night for the team. Game 3 kerry throws up Mick to stop the bleeding, so 8BR has bongman420_ their captain play. And bongman outduels revenge_of_mr, it's 3-0. OXFORD_69 against St_Jammy to close it out and... Yep, closed out. 8BR goes up 4-0, they win 5-2 as BizzyUK beats jadakiss_711, derekgnr beats copenhagen8us, and 8BR gets their 5th win when zl_lvlatt_lz beats OXxJoexXO. Again 5-2 8Ball Runners the final result, and maybe their slow start will be much shorter than last season's as they get their 1st win of the season, and what a big one it is.As for PFN these next few weeks will be their toughest all season as they have DreamPool next week, Pool Outlaws the week after, and then Beer Ball Masters.

Bearskin Eightballers @ Jokers Alley - Jokers Alley had a dominant effort week 1, a forfeit win week 2, and now we look at this week's matchup: Bearskin Eightballers. Game 1? Glitter_ against kazzy33uk, yeah Liz is still good. 1-0 Jokers. Now, the Hogwarts Alley team takes over! the_slytherin_captain beats dondie44bearskin, gryffindor_captain wins over pudsybear, makes up for the loss last week. 3-0 but rally time! albus_dumbledor_reborn can't close it out against icana, it's now 3-1 bearskins on the board. Rally would be short-lived though, mtvaldo gets win #4 against rraisor204, and to add on to the beating, daleeeee05 beats shiny_bearskin, tumsquared beats e3m2d, Jokers go on to win 6-1, haven't had any good opponents yet, but easily the next 4 weeks when they really face the tough competition in that stretch will decide JKR's loss column. I just don't think any leagues with casual players can really stand up to these guys, they're just too good.

Well, as Scott Van Pelt said last night on the real SportsCenter, it's always great when sports (or games, as it is in this case) are there as a diversion from reality. We start tonight with what should be a couple interesting matches

Booze N Spliffs @ UnitedPool - Thank god UP is the home team. -_- Anyways, the season has been disappointing for both teams. On one hand you have BNS coming in, trying to make a name for themselves, and they have but not the one they wanted. UnitedPool returned looking for a strong start and that hasn't exactly happened either. So finally, SOMEONE is going to get a win on the season and I'm thinking it'll be UnitedPool. They played MadSkillz a really good match last week overall, BNS hasn't really told us they want to win by the way they've played. If you can get them in a long game, force them to take shots, they will take them and when they miss, it's all over. UnitedPool takes it 5-2.

PoolFiction @ 8Ball Runners - 2 really good teams here I think, but there's one problem. 8Ball Runners have gone underachieving once again. Eventually you're gonna have to ask yourselves are they really underachieving, or they just not that good? Here it seems we may see PFN's Captain Kerryanne start playing reserves to get more players closer to the 5 7v7 games required for Playoffs, so the Runners may have a chance but I think PoolFiction has it bagged as they start possibly the toughest 3 weeks of their whole season, and will win 5-2 as well.

Bearskin Eightballers @ Jokers Alley - Well, Jokers back in action after a forfeit W last week over... Ah forget it. Anyways, the Jokers are simply better. BE will be overmatched just about every game, they're gonna need a lot of breaks to go their way. Jokers win 6-1.

Pool Hustlers @ Breakers Alley - The Alleys are invading Monday night! ...Right. Just another expected blowout. Cory should probably get away form his usual 7 and let some backups play to get a game taken care of early on, while obviously still staying competitive and making sure he doesn't let BA steal a win. I think PH will win something like 6-1, maybe 5-2.

Not expecting any matches taking us to game 7 waiting for a winner, but you never know. Any team can get hot for one night and pull off a shocker. We can only wait and see. Also throughout the night, and week, think about those down in New Orleans and throughout Louisiana as katrina passes by. Apparently it has lost a tad bit of force but it's still going to cause immense damage when she's finished. Even up here in Maine we're gonna get the ghost of Katrina pretty much, just light rain and such but we're a lot luckier than those who will get hit before us. Hopefully everybody is safe, and the Superdome holds, and ultimately I think we all hope this thing magically disappears but that doesn't look likely.
