Weekly Stock Watch
STOCK UP:
Hill and Rob (Super_Mario_64_) - For doing such a kickass job with stats, sorry i forgot you guys in the original post I wasn't completely into it! :s lol
Pool Hustlers - For ending the undefeated season of Absolute Finest, and also for winning their last 3 games, that's when Theike made the switch to playing regulars in PH, on the PH team. They went from 1-3 to 4-3, I'd say that's pretty darn good for a team to make a turnaround like that. All they gotta do is keep it up and the reward? A 16th match, and possibly more.
PM_damn_balls_r_killin_me - He has become my personal praise target. I mean...Back to back Tour victories, a +16 MLP Streak, he's got a chance to break an MLP Record, and unlike McGwire...It's without 'Roids! Isn't it always great to see a player nobody has even heard of accomplish something like this? To me, that's the magic of all this, it doesn't take a big name to win games. Again best of luck to ya, I'll be watching so lots of pressure! :P
Regul8ors and PoolFighters - Both had HUGE wins (6-1 and 7-0 respectively) to advance to 5-2 and tie for the lead in the Pacific Division. Regs do however lead the Head to Head with their 4-3 W over PF, but that just means PF needs to step it up a little and to stay ahead of them, Regs have to do the same. This could make for a very entertaining Divisional race, and with AF not having an easy time lately...It could turn into a nice Conference race as well.
BritPool - Well...They can't win when they're supposed to. BUT, they can damn sure win when they're not as well. Remember all this talk about Bracket Busters? Teams who may not get into the Playoffs but can certainly have a say in how the seedings work? They knocked down the giants of MadSkillz this past week, in 6 games. They had 8BR, though in week 1, in 5. Next week they play PoolFiction...And after the 2 big wins they have...despite their 5 losses, NOW can you guys start taking BritPool seriously? Or do I need to add they started up 3-0 on DreamPool?
SuperbPool - Knocking off CueKeepers in the first 4 games. Yo that's game set and season over for the losers in the Playoffs. They really stepped it up a LOT and maybe that was the spark they needed...They're still at the botto of the Division though.
LuckyDog - For coming back after sitting out the 2 weeks so he could switch to Regs, and winning the cam jump. Nice way to make a big return.Stock down for everyone he beat...he sucks how could ya let him win?! :P
Chris - For out-picking me...jackoff.
ANDY_3_16 - TODAY'S HIS BIRTHDAY EVERYBODY!! HAPPY APRIL FOOLS 95TH B-DAY! :P
STOCK DOWN:
Badking - Sigh...-12 after his loss in the match against LPL this past week. He has more consecutive losses than Luis' highest ever Win Streak. Yet somehow UnitedPool has gone 4-3 on the season, won their last 2, YO WAKE UP BK!
MadSkillz - Well...they were 4-1, tied with the Outlaws for the Atlantic Division lead...They're now 4-3 and tied with UnitedPool. The past 2 weeks for MZ have been nothing better than a disaster. Losing to 8BR, then to BritPool in 6, it has been ugly. According to Pete, they're going to have (or havd had by now maybe) a nice little meeting to discuss their strategy, who plays, etc. But as of now, it's looking a little rough for these guys. Speaking of which...
WildAngels - Yikes. They were 2-1, they were looking good, had a solid team...they're 2-5, and they play MadSkillz next week what a coincidence huh? They've simply been flat weeks 4-7, and if they wanna play in June, they desperately need wins.
ChampionsPool - 3-0 with a game to make up...they're now 3-3 and this is the worst of their schedule. First Regs, then AF, then PF, then PM...They'll need to win at least 1 of those I think to keep a good chance at making the playoffs, and winning their match with Bearskins wouldn't hurt either.
Whoever the hell has been scheduling these 5-match nights - STOP THAT! You're killing me! :( Jesus captains the whole point of random scheduling is so your depth can be tested. How good are your regulars and people who don't get to see a lot of interleague action? Quit being little sissies and rescheduling your freakin' matches -_- Yes I understand PFN doesn't like Thursdays...I say make us play every Thursday that oughtta be challenge enough =) And I also understand Pool Legends joining so that had to be accomodated, but otherwise...BLAH.
Me - For getting outpicked by a fat soccer player with pimples on his rear end :-s
Yankee Fans Everywhere - ...Just for being who you are =)
MLP Hall Of Fame
MOST WINS - Well, unfortunate Luis withdrew when he considered leaving MLP, because officially, Luis holds...Simply a commanding lead in this category. A 123-win mark which likely won't be matched anytime this season, and next season may even be a stretch. Active wins leader Eddie (crypt6uardian) is only 37...lol...wins behind him, with 86. Eddie's followed by PoolFiction's Joe at 82, and St_Jammy, who notched #80 last night against XPool. PH's Rocky_Ireland rounds out the top 25 with 43, a number Quez captain Kevin is only missing by 1 game.
WINNING STREAK - Well, that's what all the focus will be on this Sunday, how far does PM_damn_balls_r_killin_me go? He's got 16 and like I said, he's tied with St_Jammy of PFN, and Quez's sicc_illusion at 16 in a row. If I remember correctly Jammy's mark was set back in the season 2 Yoda Cup, and James made his run in season 3, but my memory's foggy. PF's the_hure (Brandon) only missed out by 1 win, he had 15-straight at one time, you'd need to break past 10 to get on this list, a mark held by PFN's Joe, PM's blue83, Regul8or Jerfighter, PH's Don, HotShot Glenno, Snake_Eyes from Quez, and Luis223, formerly a CueKeeper...Don't think he even plays or is allowed to anymore.
SKILL RATING - You have to be...Really good to even get on this let alone get to the top. That's something Don of PH has done, with his 1907 Rating. Pool Outlaw captain Austin comes in a very close 2nd with his 1903 high mark. After that nobody is in the 1900s, and the closest is, yes a PoolFiction, St_Jammy with 1882, while Pita from Regs and Zame (Former PoolFiction) are tied for 4th at 1877. The current tops in MLP, damn_balls_r_killin_me's 1862, credit that to his back to back Tour wins, part of his record-tying 16-game win streak, he's up 17 points on Austin, closest after that is PF Captain Corey, with 1795. That's not good enough to get in though for Corey, he would need to beat former BeerBaller Scott (C0rrupter)'s mark of 1809 in order to get in.
50-GAME+ WIN PERCENTAGE - Well, Brandon didn't miss out on this one, his 80% even, just barely edged out PF teammate Luis before he withdrew, he had 79.36%, Jammy 78.18, Austin 77.36, Joe 75.28, and Jerfighter 75 even. The current leader in winning percentage though is Austin, his 56-17 is good for a 76.712%, moving him above Brandon's current 75.806, however Corey's 7 wins in a row have moved him to a 73.750, up from 71.232 from the time of his last loss. So how do you get in? Master_Asia (Pita)'s high mark is 63.24, beat it, you're in.
TOURNEY WINS (Byes Included) - Guess who? Yeah, Luis. 121 wins in the Tourneys, and again that includes Byes which had to amount for at least 120 of those wins, then there's PFN's Joe at 80, and BlackSilvah's Crypt6uardian, who holds 77. With a 41st win you would tie Break And Run's golfkingi2002, who sits at the bottom end of the Top 25 with 41 all-time, tied currently with another BNR, capwhanda.
TOURNEYS WON - I don't even need to tell you, but I will. Luis is officially at the top with 8 tourney victories, double the amount of second place, BlackSilver's Crypt6uardian, and PH's TRenegade. Outlaw Skipper Austin and PoolFiction's Joe round out the Top 5 with 3, Luis actually has 9 victories if you add his win after rejoining MLP, but officially, it's 8. but Eddie can get some mention finally...He's the active outright leader with those 4 vics, only 41 active players in MLP have tourney victories.
So there you have it, if the post seemed flat after the win percentage section...I took a break for food. -_- Remember, Sunday...Round 1 or 2, damn_balls_r_killin_me is gonna have a lot of pressure going for that 17th straight win.
