Cubby's Week 4 Picks
Hopefully bam and jeremy are to come... :s
Pool Masters @ Breakers Alley - I think, with Drew potentially able to play a bit more, PM can really make a good Playoff run. One thing they've lacked recently is that one truly reliable player. Not just in terms of skill, but in terms of being able to shoot the crap with the league';s regulars. Believe it or not, how long you've played with the same league can be a small factor sometimes. You tend to know what to expect, and there are fewer surprises before your game. With all that said, I think Pool Masters will win here. I mean Spanky beat TWO people at the same time last week. That's the kind of fortune you ride for more than just 1 match. PM wins this one, probably 4-3.
Lucky Shots @ StraightShots - This one, I kinda have mixed feelings with. I mean I know what league I WANT to win, and that's Straightshots because there's no drizo, no trio, basically nobody I can think of that actually runs their mouth a lot. Now flash ahead to reality, LS is still the better league no matter how much those 2 ramble on, and they're better in some part because of those 2 players. They took one on the chin last week, it's time to return the favor. I'm gonna be generous to SS here, LS only wins 5-2.
Pool Legends @ Malditos - Miz or no Miz, Malditos got beat last week, and beat to the point that the 1-2 punch of Miz and Neo wouldn't even have been able to save them. Remember the whole thing about Malditos can never show their best 7 more than twice a season (hell, more than once even?) PL... I REALLY wanna pick them to win this one, and I'm just torn because it's probably gonna be 4-3 either way, whether it actually takes 7 or not. I flipped a coin, PL won the toss, they get the pick. PL 4-3.
Cheap Shotz @ United Pool - So uh... Star Wolf got smacked around a bit (OK, a lot) by Star Fox, portrayed by the collective team of 8Ball Runners. Now it gets interesting. Ignoring the fact that king thinks UP is 10X better than they are, and that I'm gonna hear it from him fi I don't pick them to win, I WILL pick them to win. ...A different match. I like Cheap Shotz to win here, IF robbie, paul, etc. show up ready to go. I have a feeling they will, I have a feeling they'll play their roles well (aka win), and CZ wins 4-3.

United Nations of Yahoo @ 8Ball Runners - Coach or no coach, see above. Won't likely be close. 8BR 5-2.
Pool Loverz @ True Pool Legends - PZ just simply clutches defeat from the jaws of victory. Until I see them play full strength, I have to give the nod to TPL. I think the True Pool Legends will win it 5-2, I DO think PZ will find a way to have 7 ready, where it's a later match, but it just won't be enough.
