Monday Night
OK, after the CueKeepers and HappyPool match, it would seem that HP is a shoo-in for the playoffs. But will they be in front of or behind SCPG, who picked up a 6-1 W over Breakers Alley last night. HP won 5-2 by the way did I not call this? I'm good ;) Anyways, like I've said before if Happypool and SCPG were to tie, Gods would be ahead. Will that happen? No. Next week Happypool plays New Cool Pool. Stoned Cold Pool Gods? Poolfighters. So it's almost automatic that Happy Pool is in the Playoffs. Leagues that have already clinched a spot are PoolFighters, who of course only need 1 more win to clinch the entire conference, Pool Outlaws, who also need just 1 win, IF BS and PH lose this week, and if PH loses at all, but who controls that? Champion Pool Shooters, which take on the only undefeated league in the NL Thursday night, because break and run won't be beating 'em. Black Silver has also clinched, and what a match they had against the Outlaws early on in the season losing 4-3 in game 7 but it was perhaps the greatest match of the season., Then you have the Pool Hustlers though not marked, the worst they can do can only be tied by 3 other leagues, all of which they've beaten (CPS, TRU, VS.) They face the Outlaws in week 13, so we could see a potential battle for the National League Title, but cps needs to upset the Outlaws this week. Not very likely. Some people may remember the very close race that wasn't, in the NL coming down to the final week, along with LPL forcing PO to game 7, even though the Lounge lost, Outlaws didn't seem to have their heads straight. LPL was desperately fighting for a playoff spot in an American League that ended with a 4-way tie at 6-6. 2 other leagues (Pimps and CPS) ended 6-6 as well. This season probably won't have any insane 4-way ties. But week 13 will definately make or break a few leagues. Regardless of how this next few weeks unfold, there should be plenty of drama to drag even old ladies away from the Soap Channel.
