Game 7 Heroics
Game 1 we start it all off with hill and the_giant_. Giant kicking it all off with a nice break making the 1 and 13 balls could be a top play but uh...he scratches too so let's take it away from him, has to scratch intentionally and give hill a shot. Gonna try to safety a time or 2, then the hillbilly sneaks the 5ball past the 15 and here comes the run....or not, tries his luck with the 7 and it hangs like an Estoban Loaiza pitch. Love me now Yankee fans? Anyways, the Giant makes quite a shot on the 11 ball and he has the table open for a finish, but chokes on a cross-table shot on the 14 ball, giving the west coaster (hill) a chance to lead-off with a win. GOing for the 6 in the bottom center and not quite the angle he'd prefer, but he gets it to fall but now a cross table shot for the 2ball to get to the 8. No choking around though he makes it then the 8 and PFN jumps out to a 1-0 lead.
Game 2, and before I tell ya who plays let's have a quick flashback back to the CubbySPN days Stoned Cold Pool Gods against Poolfiction in the AL Semis, Kenny umping, jammy wins his game, then later in the match he sits down between games, no harm at all, gets booted and disqualified by kenny, we later found out someone took a dump in kenny's cheerios and he had to take out his frustrations. In any event, game 2, jammy_hure and, guess who? Yeah, Kenny. By the way jammy wants to play on camtasia as do a lot of people, they want Kenny to load it up, but apparently we have the excuse "it screws up english" so he's unwilling to play the big game on camtasia. Early in the game we got a cluster on the right side near the corner, 11 balls. We'll safety around some more, finally he leaves jammy with a good shot and chance to break out the bunch, does an OK job. Gonna try to sneak the 5 by the 11 and into the top right but no luck and he really breaks it out, here comes Kenny. Goes for the 9-15 combo still without camtasia, no dice he misses the simple shot, and we do have chatter at the table, zame a good part of it. Jammy up and by the way he's -6 in MLP going into this. Down to 3 balls and we'll go 2 in 1 pocket, first the 4ball, top middle, then the 3ball, top middle, knocks the 1ball towards the right rail but it stops short and we're OK, 1ball next shot full backspin goes for top right, nails it. -6 no more oh my god, he beat kenny! you bastard! And we all know kenny is the least graceful loser in interleagues or near the top of the list, he starts crying about the chatter yada yada yada, look if you're gonna lie about why you won't play on cam you don't have any real right to complain about anything. Poolfiction up 2-0.
Game 3 this isn't how you win World Series matches Outlaws, and finally after jammy gets up before being DQ'ed ;) it's MaTTy against JJ. Early-middle of the game JJ makes matty try some bank escapes from JJ's safeties, and none of em really spectacular. Finally JJ's gonna get ball in hand and he likes it, let's do this once again just for JJ. JJ runs 1 ball, runs 2 balls, runs 3 balls, runs 4 balls, runs 5 balls, runs 6 balls, runs 7 balls, you can guess where I'm goin with this by now he runs em all, in baseball terms I guess you can say it was a home run? Outlaws get on the board 2-1, THAT'S how you win World Series matches.
Game 4 we've got a british pool wizard against the british pool king. Oh man Jason vs. Jamie this'll be good. Early on Jamie with a little safety and a top play nominee believe it or not. Why? well it's halfway in the pocket. Jason able just to make contact, that's all. let's safety a little more, Jamie finally gets the ball in hand he was looking for and what does he do? Stripe-Solid combo to take one of Jason's solids away and safety and jason with a shot or 2 available, unable to cut it. And while you're serving up stripe-solid combo safeties, make it a double. Jason all he can do is make contact again, jamie's gonna embark on a campaign now to tie us at 2. He will not fail either, using excellent positioning, hail to the king baby. We're all knotted up with deuces.
So the tiebreaker game between bl0ko and chris (the unleashed blah blah blah). Chris showing some great strategy here as he safeties passing up shots, if he's gonna make a ball he wants to run em all. Nice rhyme huh? Left with a fairly easy bank in the middle he decides to safety instead, good idea. Makes a beautiful safety as well might make the top10 when I edit it. Bl0ko able to make contact but no counter-safety.Cross-table shots a couple moments later, about the same one Giant missed in game 1 to give the game to Hill. Will we repeat it? ......Nah. Makes it, makes it, and makes it, and that's your summary of the final few shots. Outlaws on a big roll here we're up 3-2.
Game 6...flashback to game 6 Al Semis. Poolfighters and LPL, after the cursed ogges put on a show, and PF eventually won on timers game 6 and 7, and lost of course to Poolfiction in the big 3 hour classic, Marty Mcfly up. Not bad he had a great regular season only losing in week 13 he'll be against PureChaos who is...idle. After 6 minutes idle revenge of mr gets a timer. Ohhh boy here we go again. But good news, with 4 minutes or so left the name finally leaves the room. we got all our hopes up now but...time running down....and down...and down...Delay of the Match, _PureChaos_, home team, 1-game penalty, score is 3-3, and we head to another game 7 and...
Yeah we know who's playing it's king james against revenge of mr. No this won't take an hour. Mick breaks, and scratches great start. Later in the game mick with a solid-stripe combo safety attempt, makes the stripe at the tough angle, and scratches again strike 2. Now the safeties begin and we've seen it before, and I've said it before, don't go into a safety battle with the Outlaws. So later on, after a few minutes of safeties and bank escapes and more safeties and more escapes mick's gonna try to clip his solid, and use some sidespin to go behind a couple other solids on the other side of the table. Here's the shot, scratches AGAIN strike 3 you should be out. Will he be? James down to 2 stripes and he will go around the horn 4 rails to position for a bank much like the angle chris passed up earlier, he safetied and won. Mick we'll send you the King_James_ version of the holy bible with an 11th commandment: Thou Shalt Not Defeat Me. Makes the bank with perfect english great table foresight and makes the easy 8, Pool outlaws take the first match of the series in 7, and will head to Bad Times where PFN lost their only home match of the Series last season. 1:34:32 your match time.
