NL Championship
game 1 southern star and camaro, who had a huge night last week. I deleted this game by accident : and well, doing a bunch of other stuff all I remember is star won :\ so PO up 1-0 *shrug*
Game 2 special thanks to neme for sending me a tape of it, between neme and kenny. Early in the game neme might have this game won we oculd tie it all up at uno, combo shot just misses 2nd ball got hit a little too high and went off course, kenny's turn. Safety, you shoot neme I insist. Safety or 2 later ah hell let's take a shot kenny decides to go with the easy bank off the top to the bottom center, no missing that. And now, we're just, gonna, run until we screw up a little rail combo, and with 2 stripes left, no shot. Later after a really good safety by neme, it's not good enough this bank is incredible, cue and the stripe sneak by the 2 solids but here comes the 8 going going....nah it's not going in just hits the rail above the bottom right pocket, but not over yet. We gotta bank again, and more backspin the cueball crosses paths with his stripe and the pocket, just gets out of the way, top rail to bottom middle again, a little tougher but he makes it, finishes it, 2-0's it.
The Unleashed Superior Weapon and harpwarper. Chris at a huge advantage all game able to safety his way to the point of him getting an open table and ball in hand, so let's do it. 2 balls left where everybody, everybody chokes. Yep, christopher does it too, added right hand english to pull the ball left once it hit the rail, it never touched a rail it just went...well...right, into the bottom right, harp steals a win, sweep gone kevin what a shame. 2-1.
Game 4. Cloudwalker and PureChaos. And this break looks like we're gonna be safetying for a while. Look a little advice don't safety against the Outlaws it's their style. Maybe you can get away with it with southern and cowboy but jj, james, Chaos, austin, it plays right into their style. Down to 3 solids and chaos has it won, but to be on the safe side he thinks about running it, but he's gonna safety it. Cloud counters with a beautiful bank escape/safety of his own, and pure's gotta bank to get a good safety, leaves cloud with a chance to run. This is purechaos cloud do or die time. Die. Makes the first, tries to block the bottom right with his stripe, does it, so let's see what this guy can do. Everything. Down to his final solid knocks the 8 off the bottom rail all the way up near the top middle pocket for god sakes, this guy really can do it all. Outlaws up 3-1.
Now, game 5, remember game 6 last season was when they got screwed over so they don't wanna go there again. King James and hustlerette. James makes a beautiful combo to knock in hustlerette's ball and leave her with nothing, she tries to safety and blows it, and hwo do you prevent getting screwed over in game 6? Run the table to win game 5 and the match. Quick: How many shots will it take to win? We'll take 1, then combo for 2, make a kill shot for 3, position perfectly for 4, get rather lucky on the 5th, and on the 6th shot of this game my true love gave to me...a trip to the World Series Pool outlaws win it in 5, they'll meet up with Poolfiction next week on Tuesday and Wednesday and if needed, Thursday.
