Outlaws return to the NL Championship game

Well it was almost PM vs. PO Thursday after we found out game 7 would be played between the Hustlers and Masters because sean (8ballhustler I assume) played on scott's name, so that match was thrown out and cory had to take on zackman, cory won, OK, now let's get to the important stuff.

Game 1 was a catfight between southern Star and playgurl, and it almost started off 1-0 Outlaws out of the starting gate when playgurl bashed the rack after the break and almost knocked down the 8, someone told me she was good with safeties last week...riiiight. playgurl would almost do it again later in the game during her finishing 6ball run. But in the end the 8 went down when it should have and where it was called for, 1-0 to the Hustlers, remember that sweep I was talking about?

Not gonna happen, next game Gaz against the birthday boy Chris, this one on camtasia, and a few rather easy misses for chris, shots any other day he'd knock down easily. The entire game was a race to the 8 which was hanging halfway in the bottom center. Trouble late in the game however for chris he has one of those shots no line coming out of the object ball, and after ponderring it for awhile, he makes it, finishes the game, we're tied at 1.

Game 3, Kevin the captain vs. jackal-dx. Wasn't really agame, jackal potted the 8 after a few short minutes, memories of the pf-8be match when the 8 fell in game 1 kevin said "i know y'all arent gonna count that one" They did then, he did now. So 2-1 is the score.

Game 4, a tired poolfreak takes on _Poth, Jamie, whatever you want me to call him. The freak comes oh so close down to, guess how many, yeah 2 balls left, but the auto-roll on the rail on his 1st of those 2 shots didn't carry far enough, skip ahead a few minutes after he intentionally fouls. Jamie misses, yes it's possible. Poolfreak's final ball is right in front of the corner pocket, easy stuff...Or maybe not, 8ball in the way so we're stuck with a cuebank and this shot is, well...money in the bank I guess you could say. Then he knocks down a relatively easy 8, almost scratches, doesn't, hey we got a match 2-2.

Game 5 now Theike, cory, and don haven't played yet. Guess which 3 are due up for PH? First is Theike, coming off 500 bucks at the pool hall, yeah he's ready. His opponent, PureChaos, the game was anything but the latter's name. Trupoolers pay attention we call this strategy, passing up easy shots for great safety attempts, some worked some didn't. in the end Theike makes a beauty of a shot for his final ball, PureChaos's last ball left, well, between the cue and the 8. The dutch pool hustler tried a safety, didn't quite turn out good, Chaos takes his last ball then the 8, Outlaws on the hill 3-2.

And what better player to try and clinch it than JJ? He would be matched up against Don in game 6. JJ for the win and to make me correct with both the winning team and number of games, Don to send this to PH's 2nd game 7 of the night and set it up for Cory. JJ breaks, don runs 1 ball, don runs 2 balls, don runs 3 balls, don comes back, don runs 4 balls, he could, go, all, the, wayyyyyy don runs 5 balls and his backspin/power wasn't enough, and now trouble. Now the ball would've gone straight in if he had the angle. So a cue bank off the top can't hurt can it? Not if you make it, but he misses, and JJ, doing what he does best and now I guess I did it for don I gotta do it for JJ right? JJ runs 1 ball, JJ runs 2 balls, JJ runs 3 balls, JJ runs 4 balls, JJ runs 5 balls, JJ runs 6 balls, JJ runs 7 balls, JJ runs all 8 balls, match over Outlaws go back to the National League Championship game, it took just 6 games like I said, boy PH doncha hate it when I'm right? Hustlers go 6-7 in post-season play, Outlaws like I said, go back to the NL Championship awaiting the winner of Smoking Cues and BlackSilver, do I need to mention they beat em both during the regular season? Heh.
