Series heads back to the Loft

let's see the National League Home Match 1 ended with a Poolfiction win last season, then match 2 ended in 5 in favor of Straightshots in bad times, and _Steven started a downhill slide for Poolfiction in the final match ruining the sweep. Let's see if any of this sounds familiar shall we?

Game 1, Lena aka Southern Star heads-up against British Pool Wizard aka Jason. Now in baseball a close low-scoring game is referred to as a pitcher's duel...We've got a pitcher's duel. It'd take 11 minutes or so to get 3 balls down, and we're gonna see more fouls than we saw in the NBA Finals. Safetying some more....let's do it again...hey I'm bored let's safety. 20 minutes in Jason pulls a gutsy safety off the 7 which was on the bottom rail, Lena sees one shot, and tries it. That shot would be a roll-off, 10 off the 11 on the top rail into the top right. Good effort but off the mark. But again lena would get a chance after a botched safety attempt by the wizard. Leaves herself with what looks to be little cutter, make it, right spin, you'll be fine for the 8. Instead she decides to bank off the top for the bottom right. ..........Rattling the ball into the pocket is for losers who can't bank I'll just send this straight in. Boom. But now nothing but another bank on the 8. This one looks good...to the top right corner and it is....outta there! Misses off the right rail just short of the pocket and I'm gonna go ahead and accuse the wizard of using magic to push it off course. He finishes, 1-0 PFN lead.

Game 2, Austin and Hill, Carly Patterson's mood from 1 to 10, 1 being the worst, 5. We'll begin with a few safeties and well-played for the most part. Austin passes up an easy 1-rail english bank to try and go 2 rails and make the 3ball sitting near the top right, not even close Carly's up to a 6. Then hill with a safety that..doesn't accomplish anything at all if austin just taps the cue, but he tries to change the table up a little and scratches. Hill with another safety this one much more useful, but Carly's bored and down to a 5 again. *yawn* this is boring let's fast forward. Austin later in the game passes up a shot on the 6 to try and safety once again. So we begin yet again with the safeties until.......not enough power austin botches the safety HILL IT'S RUNNABLE! Runs it but stuck with a bank and carly's crying, down to a 2. But...Like Kobe he makes it look easy off the top rail to the bottom center, Carly's up to a 10 and waiting for you in your room, but I still say screw the Lakers. 2-0 PFN. Sound familiar?

Game 3 it's _PureChaos_ no timer. Let's line up possible opponents for him. Jammy, marty's available, still got bl0ko, or matty. Neither. How about...revenge_of_mr? Captain breaking out the change in the World Series usually plays 7th, plays game 3. Shocking. So Mick against Paul. And in case you missed the action last game we'll safety for ya. By the way no scratches yet for mick, and he even broke like last night. Paullieeeeeeeeee early in the game, I had to say that, sneaks the cue past the 8 to make the 11 in the top right, tries to roll the cue off the 9 next and make the 2, it hangs like every pitch Manny and Ortiz hit out last night. Ball still in the pocket though a couple minutes later 2nd time is the charm. Now, Paul has a chance to run it after Mick's safety hitting the 5 and coming back isn't quite up to par. He can hit the 10ball in the bottom right. So here we go. Left then with a 13-5-15 combo to the bottom left, misses and scratches, uh oh... Mick knocks down the 7 and decides to put a little too much sidespin with the backspin, doesn't break up the 2 solids sitting near the bottom rail. He decides to safety and luis says the guy has a line still even though it's close to the pocket, I gotta believe him. So a half-top play nominee for knocking down this shot to the top center and we could start that rally, pfn 2-0, po 3-2, pfn ties in game 6, game 7 po wins, certainly headed that way. But...he snookers himself and the 12-ball is down the the 2 solids, and he'll just safety because he doesn't wanna bank it. Down 2-0 I'd have done the same. Good thing it doesn't come back to haunt him right? Actually, it will. Now paul has 2 options here. After english he can use left spin to try and knock the 6 off the bottom rail and ip the table to free up the 12, or he can go with right spin and come 2 rails maybe even 3 to get a perfect position on it. But first he actually has to make the shot which..he doesn't. After another safety paul escapes 2 rails, and gets *yawn* safetied again and he just makes contact. Now mick thinking of safetying again? OK I love watching people get burned when they do this. Finally someone kicked some sense into him and he just knocks down the 3 in the top left with backspin and this time he breaks it out. 2 left a shot later, 1-ball bottom left, uses half-right spin and it's headed to the pocket look out..........it stops short, mick finishes it and PFN now up 3-0. By the way Poolfiction's other home match this post-season was the sweep of StraightShots.

So for the save, it's Jamie. The sweep, Jammy. They sound alike don't they? Tr1cky tr1ckin it early with the 14-13 combo to the bottom left. Now we'll play a little backwards assault, jamie knocks a stripe in for a foul, jammy does the same for jamie with solids. Later in the game jammy deciding whether or not he wants to have a go at running this with ball in hand, sure why not let's go...and scratch. Better now than with the 8 huh? Jamie's gonna try it now. Makin it work he's got it easily. Too much backspin though really with 3 to go, but he still gets to the final solid. But AGAIN hard on the backspin and he leaves the cue level with the 8 that's on the rail. Bank then off the right rail to the top left, not only does he miss, but he also makes a stripe, and leaves the table open for jammy and his 2 balls. That doesn't sound right. Makes them both, now the 8 left at a little cut angle, but ya know, a little right-side english and some power and this match is over. Hey uh...jammy...you're aiming the cue at the top rail not bottom english isn't reversed bro...hey...IRISH GUY, WAKE UP...Too late, makes the 8, cue off the top rai, bottom rail, left rail, top rail, bottom ra.....middle pocket. there's your game 4 sweep-killing screwup PFN. Outlaws on the board 3-1 not this again...

Right after that, kenny laughed out really loud, just remember who smoked you on camtasia bud. And Moe laughed his f'ing ass off really loud...a bunch of times even though he switched to poolfiction...I hope he tries to change during the season and mick says no but never lets the idiot play. Both of them booted by jack for unsportsmanlike scpg-like conduct, but after about 6 minutes kevin calls himself up, but no game, kenny's allowed back with the OK of Poolfiction, so it'll be Kenny against Marty instead. Marty wants to play on camtasia, hey they allowed you to play kenny you owe it to em...and well, this time we'll gladly play ya today and send it tomorrow so here we go finally. After more early safeties (it's inevitable) we're gonna have the 1ball in the middle pocket hanging. Marty tries to roll the cue off the 10 and knock the 1 down, still hanging. Now a few safeties and escapes later here's Kenny on the run. Here's an easy cut shot 6-ball top middle but he...misses to the right lip. LOL, let's all point and laugh it's fair play :) Marty now with a very tough cut on the final stripe, shoots, it's on its way but that damn english brings cue off thr bottom, top, and knocks the 13 right off the path to the pocket. Kenny then down to 2 solids after making the 3, long bomber here 5-ball no line from the object ball, bottom left, misses off the left rail, Kenny still winless against poolfiction in 2 nights, Marty wins it, and guess what, tonight we've got the 3rd match in the Loft, as PFN wins match 2 in 5, much like they lost to Straightshots in 5 in Bad Times last season in match 2.

MVP tonight was the8ballhustler_uk coming in on his nbk name and made a total dipshit of himself cussing out PFN, likely not to be allowed anywhere near the match tonight.
