Last changes and Top 5 Lists
Luckypool picks up americanpooler and no I don't quite think that's Kenny. Hustler jackal-dx decided to join up with the Straightshots, ivey left blacksilver to join the beerballers, Moe goes from poolfiction to luckypool (hey he might actually see a 7v7 match), Dogz89 stays with the poolfighters, dazed went back to PF a long time ago as well, happy now ryan? :P Also just for you marty, silent_therapist joins with the Poolfiction team. And of course, a few miscellaneous withdrawals and registrations.
Top 5, dazed wanted to know what it was, there are 2. Top 5 most likely to win the American League, and top 5 most likely to win the National League.
Let's begin with the AL.
#1: Poolfighters. Luis, Corey, Dogz, johndaschbach if he plays, adrian should end up playing, then there's danny, look out.
#2: Straightshots. What? No PFN? Be patient. Straightshots have: Jackal, Riddance, JJ as ignorant as he is sometimes there's no denying he's a great shooter, spiro can supply a win most of the time, the funky gigolo plus they're not in a very challenging division, they should easily at least reach the AL Championships, but again look at #1, the American League is not as tough as it may look.
#3: NOW you can get your daily dose of Poolfiction. Silent isn't what you would call a 200% shooter, but he can get the job done in an early match. Then you have zame who as most of us know missed the Playoffs last season due to his stats, unfortunate but he'll be there this time so long as he doesn't get boxed or banned. You can't even begin to say enough about this team marty is almost a 400% of the time win, no typo there. Neme's gonna bring an added boost to this team as well, then there's mick at captain again, the british pool wizard, hill our carly lover who's cheating with adrian beltre. You may even be able to argue they're better than the straightshots, but this pre-season sorta favors SS a little more.
#4: Superbpool? HappyPool? No? and Uh..No? Try Britpool. So they don't have much of a shot really at pulling it off but they can bring in a team, and they can make a decent run at it. In PLC if you want to make their stats eligible for arguement, they're 8-3 against some fairly decent leagues. This team can make a run for the wildcard round but don't expect them to get too far.
#5: Finally, let's toss HappyPool into the mix. They have an outside chance at it but with a new captain it's going to be very very tough. You can probably expect a rough first 4 weeks, then an up and down finish to the season, I say they sneak in at #5 or 6 in the playoffs, but they need pascal to play, sharkey and orange to step up, and stylish_huh will need to be a guaranteed win that they can turn to when they're in a must-win situation.
Over in the National League...
#1: Tops to repeat and you can argue MORALLY THREE-PEAT after they got shafted in season 2, Yes the Pool Outlaws. They've lost: Kenny, JJ, uh...so what? They picked up Champion_Chris, they already have another Chris, James, Jamie, PureChaos, who can stop these guys in the World Series? I got your answer: Poolfighters. But they win the NL and they probably smoke their opponent in 5 or 6.
#2: BeerBallers. Why? MJ, Ivey, Daru, and they're not even done getting players signed up. First week could be a disaster because of that, but trust me the Beerballers have a real good chance at it. Maybe you can expect clogz to show up, but they're gonna be pretty scary if he does and then a few other random players do.
#3: The Hustlers, Gary Mongoose Cory Dan Theike Efc can probably snag a win in there somewhere too, Sparky's in there as well, travelinpoolplaya may get an appearance or 3, I'd watch out for these guys.
#4: The new kids on the block except they're all straight, except Jacko. Elitepoolers. why? Scotter Skrew Tommy, read it and laugh I put em in that order for a reason, Jack's a very capable captain, you've got MisterLucky in there, elitepool has a good solid league, they should make the post-season but win the NL? You're up against the likes of the Outlaws guys, almost no chance.
#5: PM? LKP? Try the regul8ors and yes the same ones that sucked so bad they made NSync music look good. They had a very strong off-season they got dan they got RAH they got former HPs andy and tony they got jerfighter from LPL also Pita who has been reliable in interleagues, then you throw in Robbie and maybe pool_regul8or, you got yourself a team. Do they win the NL? If they get extremely lucky and I mean luckier than hitting the jackpot 5 times in 1 day in vegas lucky, they win it.
