Major League Drama
Stats will get their own post because...well, I can think of more amusing things. First tonight Smoking Cues and the Outlaws. Cues having a miserable start, worst start in MLP 2nd only to NCP. Let's just get right to the highlights which everyone cares about game 5 2-2 match late in the game. Sacrificed_nugget against hustlerette, and the nugget misses another easy easy shot. So now hustlerette gets to the 8 going for the same pocket (top right) about the same easy shot...nugget missed to the right rail, hustlerette misses high, nugget eventually wins it's 3-2 PO, couldve been 3-2 SC. By the way King James played game 1 in this match, you can guess which league started 1-0. game 7 irrelevant as Southern Star wins by an early 8, and guess what...Jamie also chokes and misses a relatively easy shot, jst a dreamr wins..but the Outlaws still win 4-3. Another sloppy match from the Outlaws if they keep this up they won't be NL Champions heck they might not even get that far. Something is desperately wrong with this team. Smoking Cues, like BlackSilver, should've beaten 'em.
8:00 match in Anything Goes and you won't see a single report from a PoolMaster because...they didn't need to. Poolmasters get their first sweep of the season and their 3rd ever in 2 seasons of MLP, excluding the forfeit from Rolls Joint. Not too shabby guys well done.
But...fun, fun stuff. Godskill's already cranky at the beginning of the match...Tracey's job is "captain manager" she can name a new captain for a league if a captain makes an immensely ignorant mistake. Just a little foreshadowing for ya. Game 1 finally it looks like LKP has a team of actual Luckypoolers. Licker_blast plays Tooth...but loses. Next up badking new from 8ball elite we all remember what happened to them...not a true Luckypooler he should win based on history..but he doesn't. 2-0 BS and let the BS...small pun...begin. Luckypool's Joker_69696 making his MLP debut against Cinnamondrops. What a fun game this is it was actual well played. Joker would win this 2-1 Blacksilver now but hold on...Silent_Fox, back with BlackSilver after leaving LuckyPool had this to say earlier in the week. "Its gonna fuck them over Hardcore Tuesday" about leaving LKP for BS.
Well, guess what it's Silent_Fox aka of course AceMarked who notices Joker has enough games in LuckyPool. Well...Almost. Joker joined, withdrew, then joined again all in the same day. Still only had 13-14 games reported in Daily Results, making it impossible then to have more than 20. Game reversed 3-0 you'd think that'd be enough and we'll just continue. Nope. By the way welcome to MLP Joker you even get mention on SportsCenter. An Admin adjusted Joker's stats obviously, Godskill is an admin in LuckyPool, he also called it a quote "dipshit call" and asked LuckyPool not come under fire for it just him. Despite him having the conscience to say that and 'fess up, you still get the business end of a cubby rant later. Just sit tight. He wanted to forfeit the match and give players a free pass to leave LKP if they wanted. Blacksilver wasn't willing to take the forfeit and Tracey, now really really irritated by all this says Evan you're no longer the captain, sit down and shut up, obviously in different words. MLP does have the right in a situation to name a new captain for the better of the team, astro isn't happy 1 bit says it's not her call to make. Well, she just made it big guy. New captain is mystikal, one of the many complaining earlier in the season about LKP not having a LuckyPool team. Well she is a true LuckyPooler as is jaggedneedle who also played, and Liquid Snake. Godskill later said he's also done with interleagues, and Jenn released astro, joker, badking, and any other non-true luckypoolers who wanted to leave. Jenn however would only have 3 players including herself, and forfeited the 7th game even without astro playing. That just shows how serious LuckyPool is now about letting their actual players play interleagues. Jenn and LuckyPool minus GodSkill get "Cubby's 'Yo!' of the month" already. BlackSilver would go on by the way to win 5-2.
Now, about this whole ignorance by captains deal. Week 1 EZ8 let Carl_x7 captain the team and play and of course, we all know how that went later on. Same week next night, gigalo_wolf named the captain of the HappyPool team, can't show up, and NOBODY knows about MLP. Stupid stupid mistakes that cost leagues matches. BeerBallers allowed A1phA aka ll_ivey_ll to play just weeks after being caught with an Aimer on Camtasia in PCL. Again, stupid and ignorant. That can even be pointed at the league's admins for not checking IP's. So now, we have this. A captain so hell-bent on winning he fields a team of players who don't even play in the league, and 1 player who doesn't even have 20 legitimate games, and he edits the guy's stats. How much more ignorant can you get? He's the MLP reincarnation of Mephy. Tracey forcing the captain change is definately to me the right call. Hopefully Jenn will take over permanently as the captain. She seemed like she knew exactly what she was doing and seems dedicated to getting true LuckyPoolers involved with MLP. Can you say Outstanding Captain? As for Evan, he says he's done with interleagues for MLP. I'll stop ripping at him because personally I think he's learned from the mistake, and knows he was stupid and ignorant at least.
By the way MLP Admin and Captain Manager Tracey will try to gather up the MLP Captains sometime in the near future for a Captains Meeting, hopefully to put a stop to crap like this happening.
