Week 1 of MLP tourneys, and picks for the whole week.

First off, if you haven't checked it out...http://users.igl.net/snake/ivey-dumbass-aimer.jpg and also http://www.angelfire.com/ex2/xlx_painkillerz_xlx/game_vs_ogges.avi I think it's safe to say ivey will not be playing for a long, long, long time. In fact that takes a huge chunk out of the beerballers team, with that haunting them i don't even think they win the division now, they probably finish 3rd in that division. Taking a 2nd look around that National League you can argue Luckypool has a chance to finish 2nd in their division. The big reason I didn't add them in the top 5 list is simply caution. You may remember going into season 3 I had this team winning the division going to the NL championships and possibly making world series. They finished under .500. I'll try it again I'll give luckypool a little more respect and give them 2nd in the Mountain, maybe 3rd. But they've surprised me once and I really hate surprises.

Now, to the Tour. The camtasia tourney saw an all poolfiction final after astro denied Sophie's demand for a replay of the game after it reached a virtually unwinnable situation. Astro refused, guess what, 8ball went, astro loses, we go to the finals zame against mark, zame the winner poolfiction comes up big 32 points. Regular jump also taken by an american league team LPL's rufferman finally getting some love on sportscenter, he got into a long safety contest against new poolfiction player neme, came out on top barely, takes down newcomer Demonic demon of Darkness from blacksilver in the finals, LPL gets only 11 points out of the night though.

Leaderboard then looks like this in the American League Poolfiction 32, Fighters 20, EZ8 17, LPL 11, Newcomers Newcastle round out the AL top 5 with 10. In the National Luckypool takes the overall lead with a big 33 points, Hustlers first time they haven't been in a camtasia tourney finals match, they only pull 20, BlackSilver 13, Poolmasters 11, Regul8prs come in with 10. Right now, it's not even close the 2nd place leagues have some ground to make up.

OK, the picks. We begin with Monday night first break of the MLP season will go to a member of either EZ8 or Poolfighters as PF hosts the EZ8 league at 7:00. Poolfighters are dominant. Need I say more? Actually, yes I do because I can't say enough. Corey, Luis, Adrian, Nick, Dogz, Danny, Cole, that's only 7 players I can think of then there's also dazed they have this deep lineup they can use and it's a home match, they can use any eligible player in that lobby if they want, and they have the luxury of matching up players against ez8's. The fighters will probably win this one 6-1.

8:00 Breakers Alley going to Rack 'Em to take on LPL. Again the home advantage is just a little added bonus you've got an LPL team full of ogges, sporty isn't getting any respect I've seen enough of his excuses for not playing on camtasia, you've got rufferman who pulled a win tonight in the Tour, then breakers aley doesn't rally have a lot of standout players, they have some middle-level players a couple good ones but it's not a team that will make a lot of noise. They're in it for the fun and I respect leagues like that, they'll have fun watching LPL win 5-2.

9:00 Match of the night Regul8ors, Elitepool, in We Are The Champions, yo. This is going to be a 4-3 7th game shootout the first of the season. Why? elitepool and regs are so evenly matched. Jack is a good captain he took his team against the outlaws and they should've won that match in the 6th game and damien ate a plate of arti-chokes. Kevin stol game 6 there and then the Outlaws won 4-3. He can, if he has the players, nab a win. Elitepool has the players. So do the regul8ors, they have Robbie and Revolutionizingthegame and Striker_of_death and elitepool has Scotter and Skrew and Tommy and Jack isn't all that bad *deep breath* wow that's a lot to read on one breath, anyways the home advantage is definately going to be key for EP. I think the Elites win this 4-3.

Tuesday Night, 2 7pm matches let's start with CueKeepers and SuperbPool. CKP has had a team these past 2 seasons, but SuperbPool has some big hotshots on their team. One of them being paris_in_flamez, another being MarktheGreat on whatever name he's using now. Keepers can make a match of it if they have Excalibur, playinpool, wd, and dooginater, but Superbpool I believe will come in and defend their house 5-2. Yes the home team wins again.

HappyPool paying a courtesy call to Poolfiction in the other 7PM match, that'll be your match of the night yeah I know I changed my mind, HP under a new captain, PFN off another World Series loss, they sound a lot like...yeah, the Red Sox. Go ahead Kenny say it. But HappyPool is probably going to struggle for the first few weeks as I've said, they lost daru as well they really don't have as much of a chance as one would think. Poolfiction I won't even begin naming their lineup just use find player you will find very few players who aren't reliable for a win. Poolfiction likely wins this in the form of a 5-2 victory.

8:00, Seems the home team should always win NOT true here. Newcastle visiting the PoolPimps and guess who's gonna win? Newcastle. I don't think the Pimps have it in them this season. Newcastle came in I already knew they were a good league, they might not accomplish a ton week 1 but they'll definately cause a few troubles for leagues later on. It's a match full of average players and an above average player or 2, but Newcastle starts off this season 1.000, with a 4-3 win.

at 9:00 this looks familiar, blacksilver against the outlaws. Difference? Blacksilver practically lost every player that made that match close. Lisa's a very good captain, fact. Blacksilver still has an OK team, fact. Outlaws can't win 6-1? Fiction. Heck they could give us the first sweep of the season, and again use Find player and compare these teams yourself, I shouldn't need to, I rest my case.

Wednesday Night: 7:00 PM: For 2nd place in the NL Mountain, in week 1: Poolmasters visit Luckypool. 4-3 game 7, these 2 teams have big lineups, Poolmasters have this lineup of really good players that rarely get any mention in here, Luckypool has this lineup of Silent_Fox (AceMarked who beat Robbie tonight on camtasia, hi Robbie) Big_Game, Godskill's gotten better, Liquid Snake, no I'm not gonna say astro's a season-long force because once a Unitedpooler smokes him when the 2 meet he'll get pissed like he did when a crazyshooter beat him in PLC and get himself boxed. But I do believe Luckypool will pull through and win this in game 7 but it could be ehkohz against AceMarked.

8, HotShotz visit PH. No surprise upsets here the Hustlers are just flat-out better than HotShotz. No huge analysis needed the Hustlers win 5-2.

9:00, UnitedPool goes to check out Break N Run's room to close out the night. Break and run had a LOT of new faces in MLP tonight, including one that beat outperform chris, one that sent jammy back to Bad Times, patriciamalkin made it to rd. 4 where she lost just to the winner, ruff, unfortunately beating her own leaguemate JayBird in an earlier round. They both could've probably gone further. I think break and run wins this in an uncharacteristic 6-1 win.

Thursday. StraightShots get to play with their new toys against New Cool Pool who...really didn't get any new players. Maybe new to MLP but that's as far as it goes. With the lineup the straightshots have, JJ, Riddance, Funk, Cheese, JUDGE, can you say sweep? I can. Sweep. Who cares that it's in Intermediate Lounge?

Same time, a shakey 8ball elite team has to travel to Britpool. That match might not be played in All Right Now they have a lot of banned members that cause troubles, using booters, scrollers, that kind of crap. But Britpool will be the home league. Doesn't mean they win but I'm waiting for those all-camtasia playoffs before I give these 8be bankers the respect they may or may not deserve. Sure they're gonna be 4-3 favorites to win this match but like I said, I'm waiting for the playoffs before I start giving them respect.

8:00, Beerballers and XPool play the game 7 times in...Play The Game. XPOOL is my big upset special of the week, they should take advantage of beerballers being new (again) to MLP and of course all this about ivey could play a role in the outcome, I think XPool wins 4-3 if angelofmercy, biggie, Chuck and Chris have anything to say about it. the ABCC threat, like it?

9:00 final start of the week belongs to Smoking Cues and TightRack. First of TRP needs to get players signed up before they think about trying to win a single of these 7 games even though they won't win 4 of em, they won't even win 3. Why? Camaro, Hustlerette, Cloudwalker, dreamer, smokin dan's gonna be just...smokin. Smoking Cues go into Jump Shot and TRP gets jumped, 6-1. Don't boost your stats Rooster you'll keep more members.
