Week 3 picks

OK Dan goes down this week.

Monday night...7:00...Nobody. I pick Yahoo to win. Then at 8:00 2 matches let's start with NewCastle against Britpool. BP had that week 1 win reversed with a 6-1 bruising at the hands of 8be replacement MadSkillz. Looking at that division I can honestly say MadSkillz has a very good chance at finishing 2nd or even 1st, the problem of course being StraightShots and you have an arguement there with EZ8. But back to the topic of this match, it's in All Right Now and Hill, JJ, it's the battle of the "unbeated"! Just for you. But Newcastle I think have the better players, and they should be able to get an away win finally 4-3, before their first home match next week.

Other 8 hours past noon matchup tomorrow, All Mixed Up the site of Straightshots and Superbpool. Superbpool has really let me down here just like Luckypool did last season when I thought they'd be great, easy playoffs, they finished sub-500. This season, better team, they're gonna be this huge powerhouse they'll win the division they'll go to the NL championship? The way LKP is playing right now XPool will sweep them for god sakes. Now we have Superbpool who has all the makings of a great team....0-2. They just can't hold a lead, 6-2 in their first 4 games of a match, 0-6 in the final 3. They won't blow a 3-1 lead this week however that streak will finally end...Because there are 5 reasons the Shots will win, and 2 reasons SS won't be sweeping SuperbPool.

Closing out the night, XPool and Regul8ors. After Season 2 I've said it before I'll say it again, XPool has gone downhill faster than Jack and Jill. And they haven't started going back up either. 4/10, now they're against perhaps the most improved whole team in the National League. The regul8ors won't lose for awhile they have UnitedPool next week, gives them time to get 2 back to back big wins and then Hot Shotz? Regs don't have a tough match until week 6 against PM. Here they win 5-2 over Xpool

Smoking Cues and Pool Outlaws rematch from the NL Championship last season, leading off the festivities on Tuesday. This time it's at 7, in the Loft. Smoking Cues can have the title of least improved team. Literally the worst team in MLP they're 0-2, 3/11, that's a hole to fight out of and they have the outlaws this week, next week they need to put this start out of their heads and focus on trying to go 10-3, somehow. They won't win here. 6-1 to the Outlaws.

MadSkillz gets a Bye over NCP of course since the league's deleted, so Break n Run against PoolMasters. Break n Run has a chance to make a match of this actually. Granted this is their first match against a good team, I still think they have a chance. But...PoolMasters are just too good for 'em. It's been nice shooting 1.000 on the season guys but now it's time for .666, Poolmasters win this 4-3, but clinch it in 6.

BlackSilver and my friends from LuckyPool. You think LKP is god awful now? Wait'll ya hear this, now the team loses ChristopherSoccer and AceMarked, who combined to go 3-1. BlackSilver has tossed 2 upsets out the window, this won't be an upset BlackSilver should be EXPECTED to win 5-2.

Starting the night on Wednesday is a trip by PF to see the Pimps. Not to be confused with the Pips. Poolfighters just simply have a better team. The Pimps are 1-1 7/7 perfect .500, but when Luis, Amir, Danny, Cole and Nick are done with them they'll be 1-2 9/12. PF should be able to win this easily 5-2. Now there's a reason Corey isn't included in that list. It's time for a Cubby Quote. "k everyone, corey is officialy a f***ing idiot, im playign ruff on camtasia for mlp and he starts coaching .. so other than taking the safety, i just forfieted the f***ing game, if anyone ever f***ing coaches me again i will f***ing iggy them.." - Amir, aka MunkyzKorn. Obviously censored for kids like Robbie and Jammy :) If there's any legitimacy to that at all, Corey might not even be playing, let alone be at the table. Despite all that the Pimps still don't have much of a chance.

UnitedPool and the Pool Hustlers......ElitePool and Tighrack square off at 9:00 and...oh alright if I gotta waste time on that 8pm match. PH is apparently losing Krunal, it seems Theike will stay on as captain, the match is in IL2, and UnitedPool I'm picking to be a sub-.500 team. I think PH wins the match 6-1.

Now to that 9:00 match, ElitePool and TightRack. Match is in Jump Shot the first match EP has Away. On paper...neither team is favored they're both 1-1 7/7. That's why we don't always go by the stats, though sometimes they do help. I think kaboom has a lot to prove if he wants to stay on that MLP team and of course Elites will likely have 7 legitimate players this time around. As for TightRack they will keep this match level. Until game 1 when Elites take the first 2, and go on to win 4-3 in 5 or 6.

Here's a match to lead off Thursday, Cue Keepers at LPL. And hey look who gets to ump it's King James...all hail. Anyways, back on topic we're seeing the early season Cue Keepers from season 3. This team will be able to knock off an already rattled LPL team that's gone 0-2 losing to...of all people...Breakers Alley. And it was 5-2. Cue Keepers will do the very same thing look for a CKP win 5-2.

Same time different match Poolfiction visiting EZ8 and this is going to be a very very entertaining one. Poolfiction has a lot of very good players obviously I mean...they've repeated as AL Champions, Marty, Jason, Zame, all really good. EZ8 will have to have their A+ game on to beat them. They'll take it to 7 I think but Poolfiction should win it 4-3.

HappyPool and Breakers Alley. This match taking place in Vicki's Secret and I'm actually gonna pick Breakers to take down HP. I'm still a little tentative about supporting HP based on Week 1. Then breakers alley who played well against a good LPL team, and of course are 2-0 12/2 thanks to NCP being deleted. I think they can beat HP this week 4-3.

BeerBallers and Hot Shotz finish the week and while HS did do really great to rebound from an 0-7 loss. I think Hotshotz are going to be an up-and-down league. This week will be a down week. BBM is quite simply better than HotShotz. Barring luck, BeerBallers blow em out 6-1.
