Half the week gone..
Let's begin with Poolfighters doing what they can to try and stay within 1 of PFN and game 2 it's luis against cole...no..not cerebro luis. It's souljah luis and Brandon of course just won't shut up. Recurring theme through the night. Cole able to pick up one of PF's 5 wins, the Luis we all know and love picked up the irrelevant game 7. After losing his game paris_in_flamez said never ask me to play again. The same paris who got SP into MLP, interesting. In any event, PF will remain a game back from Poolfiction, and take a half-game up on MadSkillz for the time being in the Wildcard Spots race.
Regul8ors and Poolmasters your match of the night, uhuhnotcool took down jerfighter for game 1, then RAH and l3ams a legend were able to reel in a pair of wins to take a 2-1 lead. But then, the Masters rally against the Regs and we'll fast forward to game 6, pool_warrior for Regs trying to send it to a 3-3 tie. Remember the regs have been choking all season so far? Well...it's poor Andy's turn. Can't get a position with 2 solids left, tries some kind of safety it looked like, not even close. LuckyDog strings together a few well-positioned shots on the other hand to win the game and clinch the match 4-2, Dan by the way would win game 7, 7-balling i_havethep0wer. So now in the NL Pacific after this match the Regs only have a half-game lead over the BeerBallers, Smoking Cues, and Hustlers. Cues and Hustlers meeting this week to see who will tie them. In the Mountain the Masters move within a half-game of the Outlaws, and also lead the Wildcard races. Outlaws and Masters the only 2 leagues above .500 in the Mountain Division.
BritPool and Breakers Alley rounding off the night, a little controversy on the solid+stripe on break rule so we took a moment or...half a game to clear that up. Then boricua still not happy about the rule...not really happy about anything, must be that time of month, she would lose to fooze. All-in-all BritPool played much better than the Breakers, and I of course left around game 6 not that I was paying a ton of attention to it all, but BritPool did take the 5-2 win. They'll get to 50% in their record, but still the same 22/20 that the now 2-4 Breakers Alley is. BritPool hanging on barely to a shot at the Playoffs, they'll need a big burst though to get into that top 6. Breakers Alley? They're not completely out of it, but they'll need wins in the worst way, oh and by the way Breakers have not faced PF, PFN, or SS yet, BritPool still has to battle PF and SS.
Tuesday night comes around then and the Outlaws go against Hot Shotz looking to stay undefeated for the gazillionth straight regular season match. Outlaws jumped out to a commanding 3-0 lead to begin it all and again, James playing really early this week, Jamie of all people making his return, he'll return to a loss against bouting_lust. But then after that it's just a matter of time and the Outlaws didn't have to wait long. 3-1 became 4-1 as Paul came in and clinched it, all ya gotta know is the Outlaws are now 6-0 this season, leading the entire National League, they really look like the Patriots. As for the Hot Shotz..not so hot but with that Mountain struggling the way it is..who knows they could come in along with a few other leagues and steal #6.
LPL and NewCastle, you could sense a little anger from a few NewCastle players including Matthew's opponent JOJO over Matthew's safeties, saying stuff like "sorry nc i don't play that way" welcome to MLP. And it's not just NewCastle you see it with a lot of smaller social room leagues, and even a couple advanced room leagues (Hi XPool). Rizken later on against CoolNova (nova dawg) from NC. Scary moment mid-way through rizken comes oh so close to dropping the 8, but it stays on the table, eventually he would win the game. LPL went on to win it entirely 5-2, 2-4 now on the season while NewCastle drops to 1-5...it'll take a real rally for any of the to play more than 13 matches this season.
Here we go HappyPool and MadSkillz, 2 undefeated players in this one, but let's watch sid_brother...not_your_kitten is unbeaten but hey, even she can't make a bank like sid did. I'll try and upload it for everyone's entertainment, but what a beauty it was. Later in the match pete from MZ would take down HP captain dublin_wolf to tie it at 3 after some good shooting, by the way not_your_kitten would, sadly, lose. So game 7, king_hustler also undefeated, against newcomer to MLP devilbear. Last week he 2-shot his 8, here he hangs it in the top left-hand pocket HP about to win but hold on a moment, still gotta get to the 8 and devilbear...*hack choke cough gag weez* call the doctor he too is choking, hustler gets another big break and in a thriller which I'll also try to upload, wins it for MZ 4-3. So now HP drops to an even 3-3, tied with BritPool. Gotta wait till week 14 though to play, darn. MadSkillz 5-1 keeping up with PF in the Wildcard but also a half-game lead over the StraightShots for the Division.
BeerBallers and BlackSilver, this went to game 7? Yep. In fact it would be Pita in game 5 putting BS up 3-2. But then Pascal would take down pool_god_osiris which leaves game 7 for Deuss, against X_Monkey and well, all I'll say is BBm didn't disappoint they won, I'll let the game do the talking when I get around to uploading it. After all this now BBM is tied with the Regs and either PH or SC (Decided Thursday) in the NL Mountain, whoo hoo fun stuff. BlackSilver a miserable 1-5, not eliminated but this isn't 1980, and BlackSilver is not an olympic hockey team.
Now...I haven't mentioned Kenny yet, because he gets last dibs. During the Reg-PM match after being called a fanboy by yours truly, *sigh*...Oh sorry, daydreaming. Then ignored, he apparently addressed Moe who said nothing more than "that's my name" he told Moe "I hope your family dies" in a few different words, but that's pretty much what he said. Now what kind of dumbass (Yankee fan is not an excuse, even though they're not the brightest, as displayed by tonight's game 6) wishes death on someone's family? To insult someone's family instead of the person themself is the lowest, cheapest, biggest pussy act you can do, or at least it ranks up there. He's boxed until the 29th, count your blessings you'll be out in time to go trick or treat. When you get into a dispute with someone, especially when as far as I can see he didn't do anything to provoke it, you leave the damn families out of it. It's between you two people, not you, another guy, and his family. So right when MisterLucky was on the hook for his recent outburst during the Tour, and what he said about BNR (Which he did apologize for his actions, to his credit), Kenny takes his trash can lid right back.
