New SC Reporter; Week 8 Predictions
Ello MLP. I'm glad to be a new part of MLP SportsCenter and I hope you like my posts. So let's get down and break down Week 8's Picks and Predictions.
Headlines: Can PH stay alive and live up to their 6-1 record atop of their division, or will they fall to 6-2, they take on XP. How about them Cuekeepers shocking everyone and gaining one of the top 3 spots in their division leading tie. Will they remain 5-2, or will they fall? Let's get it on!
MONDAY NIGHT
Game 1:
PH vs XP
This game should not go the distance. I could see XP winning a game or two but thats all. PH is just stacked with players. Xpool has Judy (partslady) and other great unknown shooters, however PH has some shooting stars also. I'd like to say XP making it a close one, but that won't happen. PH to advance to 7-1.
Prediction: PH over XP 5-2.
Game 2:
LKP vs UP
This game should be an average match in comparision to the other matches this week. At the start of the season LKP was stacked with all kinds of star players. However, with the loss of Tyler (The_Big_Game) and a few others, I think they have went downhill since then, but they still have Jenn (mystikal___69) and some others. A close one too call. However, I pick LKP to be the victors.
Prediction: LKP over UP 5-2.
Game 3:
PF vs HP
Not a close one too call, nor a possibility of an upset here. PF is just too much of a strong team for HP to handle with players like Luis (_cuttingedge_) and Tyler (Trouble4Some) I cannot see a slim chance of HP winning. PF will easily win this one.
Prediction: PF over HP 6-1.
TUESDAY NIGHT
Game 1:
LPL vs PFN
This one should not go the distance. Its an easy prediction, and reasoning is plain and simple, PFN is just too damn good! Even though LPL has some shooters, PFN has just double that with Zame (zame.kong), Joe (xxx_neme_uk_xxx) and plenty others. PFN to be the winners and go 8-0!
Prediction: PFN over LPL 5-2.
Game 2:
PM vs PO
In my opinion, this should be the match of the week! Now come on, you have two extravagantly managed teams with a lot of talented players. PM being host of, Matt (i_havethep0wer), Jim (jimvan33), however, you have PO with a 7-0 record in MLP that they are going to have to get past. I just don't think it will happen. Even though they have players, PO is too strong of a team.
Prediction: PO over PM 6-1.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Game 1:
SS vs BP
This should be a good one. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes the distance, due to the lack of playing skill SS has been playing at in comparision to their potential. SS is just a great team with great players led by agreat captain in Spiro (dj_spir0). I think they will prevail in this one and remain one of the top leagues in their division. SS to go 6-2.
Prediction: SS over BP 4-3.
Game 2:
PLP vs MZ
Now this is a match MZ really wants to win. After their disappointing loss last week in the hands of CKP they are out for revenge and I think will get it. MZ is a talented bunch of players, some include 5-1 (king_hustler2004),Pete (ll_pete_ll) and many more. I think with their bunch against PLP's moderate team, they will be the victors. Choose MZ to prevail in this one and stay on top of their division along with SS with 6-2 records.
Prediction: MZ over PLP 6-1.
Game 3:
BA vs SP
Not much of a blockbuster game here, but you have two equal leveled teams going at it. You have SP that just came off a great 6-1 win last week with their confidence boosts up, against a Breakers Alley team which seems to have been struggling of lately. I think SP will continue their great playing, and prevail in this one.
Prediction: SP over BA 5-2.
Game 4:
EP vs BBM
This should be a great game. You have two leagues with some talented shooters going at it. First off, BBM has some good shooters, with Kenny (the_pool_professor) coming off the box, look for him in this game if he plays. On the other hand, you have a well led and organized EP team led by Jack (xlx_jack_xlx). I expect this to be a good one, with BBM just barely pulling out a W in this one.
Prediction: BBM over EP 4-3.
THURSDAY NIGHT
Game 1:
NC vs EZ8
Another equal leveled game. You have EZ8 coming off a great win last week over BP with some talented players led by some great captain(s), Ray (xlx_mvp_xlx) and Chrys (chrys_an_the_mum). Going head to head against a moderate Newcastle team. This should be a back and forth match, however, watch out for EZ8 to come out on top.
Prediction: EZ8 over NC 5-2.
Game 2:
HS vs BNR
Here you have two great teams going at it. Both have a chance at a Wildcard but need some shaping up before makinga clear impact. Hotshotz has a great captain in Glen (Glenno) expect him to pull something out of his sleeve. However, on the other hand you have a BNR team which really shocked everyone at the beginning of the season starting off athigh speed. I think this one can go down to Game 7, however, Hotshotz will take it.
Prediction: HS over BNR 4-3.
Game 3:
SC vs REG
This is another great match during the week. Regul8ors are an extremely talented bunch of players. With players like, Ev (revolutionizingthegame) and Chris (Super_RAH) in the line-up they will be hard to beat. Yet alone add to the mix Rob (rob-bie) and Garett (o0_garett_0o) with a lot others they can become unstoppable. However, SC has some talented shooters of their own, in (xlx_hustlerette_xlx) and Camaro and a bunch of others. I expect this one to be easily handled by Regs but will not be surprised if it goes down to the wire. Regs to come out on top!
Prediction: REG over SC 5-2.
Well that brings to a conclusion my picks for the week. I will not be surprised to see some upsets in the making, because this week has some great matches in it's grasp. Make sure, to go check out some of the action as its always tense and awesome in MLP! Stay tuned for more posts, by Ev and Cub.
