Monday Night Recap
As expected Monday night was one full of suprises. Full of upsets, whatever, call it what you want to call it, but summarized it was an unexpected night for everyone. Let's get it on!
Headlines: Poolfighters, the oh so destined to win team falls to Happypool? Who thought of that?... And UnitedPool takes a commanding win over LuckyPool 5-2... Wow.
Game 1: PF vs HP
Undoubtedly the upset of the night. Poolfighters by many if not all of us expected to come in here and blow HP out of their way. With Tyler not in presence and PF players unperforming whoever thought they would lose. To begin the game, you have SexyJewel facing TheChief. Sexy manages to pull out the win and give Happypool the 1-0 lead. The next game hosted, BillD (Oldschool HP) vs Danny (b_madcab_d) yes the same Danny that is "unbeaten". Well that's about to change, BillD manages to snap Danny's unbeaten streak and Happypool jumps out to a 2-0 lead. Next you got Coria's twin, Corey now this guy can play. He was one of the 2 or 3 PF players that came on with his game not ready to get taken to school. (Maybe he was tired of thinking of school and owned)... Well Corey takes this one and PF gets on the board, 2-1 HP leading. Next you have Buds4billz vs Cole (bomberkid15), Cole oh so destined to win manages to.... LOSE. Ouch, 3-1 HP lead gonna be hard to come back now. Now we have to call in early Mr. Luis (pronounced Lou'eese). As usual he owns and manages to pull it to a 3-2 HP lead. Still with some tricks in their sleeve, PF calls up Sinister who's versing VIRGINKITTIE. Well let's just say the Kittie can't say PURR anymore, Sinister wins now we have a tied game 3-3! Game 7. Who else to pick for PF other than... Tyler ... oh yeah! he's not here... so Parallax goes up vs oh so lovely Jacja. And what a surprise Jacja is the one potting the 8 and Happypool upsets Poolfighters by a score of 4-3. I think Luis was right, they are sleepy... Well that's the number 1 upset of the night, maybe next time PF...
Game 2: PH vs XP
Not much to say about this match other than Cubby wanting XP to win which I thought was completely an uncalled for statement cause it would never happen. XP goes up 2-1 early in the game. PH finally gets their heads together and gets their game together and takes the next 4 games and pulls out a W with a 5-2 score, as expected and predicted by Yours Truly =). PH goes to 7-1 while XP goes to a staggering 2-6, Ouch. Well good game, wasn't much of an upset tonight...
Game 3: UP vs LKP
Ladi Ladi La! Dum Dum Dum! Another upset in the making to cap off our Monday Night. What a day, Moe scores low on a quiz, PF gets beaten, it's Cubby's Birthday... And what a way to cap things off. UP up early in the game with a 3-0 lead. What the heck LKP common here, get a win! I predicted y'all to win. Finally my savior Iceberg makes it a 3-1 game. Next up Sir_Bankshot vs Godskill. Sir_Bankshot breaks and Godskill's turn to shoot. He shoots with black near pocket, and OH he scores the black on the second shot. Bankshot gets to decide whether to give UP the win 4-1 or to re-rack... and he chooses to take the win! (Wouldn't blame him with his 0-4 so far record.) Well let's just say hes 1-4 now and Unitedpool gets a shocking win so far 4-1. Next play Chad vs Tsunicht_40 not even a member so why would you call him. Well he's getting activated and he doesn't have an email. Boo! Timer goes on and runs out. 5-1 UP score, nice Chad wtg to start your MLP Career with a W. Next SolidSnake vs Iceman. As predicted by most, Solidsnake wins over Iceman and the overall score is 5-2 in favour of UP. Yet another upset for the night.
