Wednesday Night
Let's begin with PoolPimps and BritPool, BP would take game 1...yay we got 1 win against you hahahaha pool pimps...heh, no they didn't do anything like that, and while 1 win in 1 game is nice, PoolPimps took the next 6, yikes. They absolutely slaughtered BritPool...and these guys took PF to game 7. So now Pimps and SuperbPool are tied at 5-5, just 1 game behind MadSkillz. They'll meet week 12, where MadSkillz has to handle the PoolFighters.
Speaking of them, they were against StraightShots tonight.
Game 1 Good Riddance, after doubting he would play prior to the match, leads off against PF's eskim0s. Rich's doubts seemed to be well-placed because after making a nice shot to get to the 8, it rattles in the top middle. eskim0 would run out his balls after that, but then it would do the exact same for him, Rich steals the win back, 1-0 SS.
Game 2 Apostle against Corey...give us this day our daily controversy. Apostle asked for cam at the beginning of the match, but got no reply and just assumed it was on cam for whatever reason. Flash ahead to corey's shot late in the game, has to A: Make a quite difficult bank, and B: Has to leave the cue somewhere he can reach his other solid. He does it PERFECTLY, after getting booted and then revealing he didn't even know Apostle asked for cam. He laughed, left without a gg after corey whooped him, I'm feeling generous give ya 5 guesses what he was thinking. And I'll also tell ya Apostle's wrong.
Game 3 it's tied 1-1 so mspoolpro from SS and mr nick will dance. Early in the game, and this is on cam for all you accusation-hungry kiddies out there, and I mean the ones who say it every time even the easiest banks are made -_- she nails a B-U-T-FUL cuebank from the bottom rail, between a solid and a stripe, to nail the 6ball in the top left. Who says the ladies can't bank on cam? it wasn't enough however, nick outsafetied her later on and went on to win and give PF a 2-1 lead.
Game 4 SS_xlx_american_pool_stud_xlx (happy blake?) :P against PF_b_madcab_d. This would be a lengthy safety showcase in the beginning, JJ told blake he had ball in hand on a shot, not a ton of people liked it but it soon turned into a few laughs and everyone lived happily ever after, later on blake would get an opening and with a nice bit of strategy on his final few shots, got an easy shot for the 8, nd tied this back up, it's 2-2.
Game 5 PF puts up Trouble4Some, and that means JJ's coming to town. JJ breaks, safeties, Tyler shoots, JJ runs 1 ball, JJ runs 2 balls, JJ runs 3 balls, JJ runs 4 balls, JJ runs 5 balls (he made 2 on break) but...JJ used just the perfect power on that last shot to put himself on the rail, with a solid blocking him from the 8. Some cried Yahoo, the intelligent yelled bad luck and a mistake. Either way, JJ would foul and Tyler...not letting JJ get any kind of revenge, smoked him. 3-2 PF
Game 6 Adrian's still rebooting so let's look at our options here...We can have Luis play now and Adrian game 7...or...Aww hell let's just put up Jeff. Yes, Jeff playing in this match of all matches, after winning during the controversial CKP match by timer (after a CKP player got booted). He would pair up against dj spir0. Scary thing is, Jeff almost 7-balled the DJ. Whew, have beer will shoot. DJ would get a shot finally after Jeff couldnt drop his 7th stripe. He would safety soon and Jeff, I swear at least 5 times came a hair away from making a decisive bank. But would he win it on a bank? Heh, nope. Spir0 makes a mental error putting partial backspin with his left-hand english, trying to finish the game, again some cry Yahoo, the intelligent yell mental mistake, and Jeff finishes out easily, and PoolFighters remain just 2 games behind PoolFiction, while leading the AL WildCard by 1 game, SS goes back into a 3-way tie with EZ8 and CKP, and that order due to games record in matches played between those 3, EZ8, CKP, SS.
Game 7 Adrian's back, but who cares anymore? His computer screwing up may have been good for PF, imagine that. Instead it's Luis and ajay...Ajay breaks, makes nothing. Luis tries a combo and misses, that's a change. Ajay takes one more shot and misses. You lose. Luis just does the usual and runs the table, and PoolFighters win it 5-2. Now that doesn't guarantee them a playoff sport, because a 4-way tie is still possible (even though PF is going to win 6-1 over NewCastle to erase that chance, it's still possible, in official terms) so they'll have to wait. But they're going to the Playoffs.
ElitePool and PoolMasters, Outlaws want ElitePool to win, BeerBallers want PoolMasters to win. How like life can't please everyone at once can ya, damn.
Game 1 Mr Tommy Boy against PM's LBCDogg. Impatient little tommy tries to run, can't do that, LBC tries to run, and after a great shot to knock in a ball blocking the 8, while making one of his own, barely makes the 8 in the bottom right to give PM a 1-0 lead, Tommy would leave without reporting, happens more than Cubs lose in the playoffs.
Game 2 Finds the ReallyBigAssNegro for EP against mrsr pool perfection. Late in the game after perfection attempts perfection, and comes up short in the running game, the guy with the huge posterior makes perhaps the greatest escape-counter-safety you may ever see this season. Going top, bottom, right, and putting the 9 between the cue and the rest of the other few balls. mrsr able to make legal contact, but no counter-safety, and fatass finishes out to tie it 1-1.
Game 3 Droppin against LuckyDog. 3 balls sunk, and d_r_o_p_p_i_n is b_o_o_t_e_d. he would t_i_m_e_o_u_t and PM would lead 2-1.
Game 4 Scotter against Rocky Ireland. Rocky tries to run, but can't get the job done, so scotter's gonna get a crack at it. He would get to the 8, consider a bank from bottom to top middle, but decides to try the bottom middle straight in, the exact same angle Good Riddance had about 2 hours ago, except different side of the pocket and bottom of the table instead of top, and scotter too misses this. Ireland makes 2 balls then makes a great safety play, scotter does avoid the foul after doing well with a top to left-rail double cue, but he leaves Rocky a shot, and he makes his final 2 plus the 8. PM up 3-1, ya know 3-1 seems to be the cool thing in EP's matches.
Game 5 bencoggon for PoolMasters against eat_sleep_pool, Brandon's still waiting. Not a very powerful break, yawn let's totally not mention another good safety contest MisterLucky's involved in like he ragged on me for after week 1 with Dan, it's fun. Fast forward ben can't get a shot on his final solid after making a neat cut shot. Rob safeties one more time and then, I WILL mention his nice runout to keep EP alive, it's 3-2.
Game 6 Brandon's gonna wait for game 7, it's Flip for EP, against his former league now, Crazy Que wants to put it away for PM. 2 stripes on break, and a miss from Crazy and flip puts together a nice run, and a PERFECT shot to get a clear shot on the 8, that's why he's on the ELITEpool team. We're tied, game 7 time.
Game 7 Finally it's Brandon for EP, p0wer for PM. 10 minutes, game 7. Brandon tries to make it about a 4 minute game, but can't quite down the cut shot. P0wer has the right idea by trying to run it, but he makes 1 mistake, he doesn't, barely missing his next shot. Brandon would try a cuebank, many of you saw the one he drilled against the Outlaws, not this time, but Matt has no shot...or does he? He makes a good cuebank off the bottom, to drop that ball he missed in the last shot in the top right. Run the guy will ya?!?!? Nope he's gonna safety again, wants to get a better look. Brandon again barely misses a cuebank, but now p0wer really has no shot. Botched a safety attempt and Brandon does the Luis thing. Runs the table, and AGAIN, Brandon wins a very clutch match for ElitePool, and the big-time performances from Skratch, Rob, Flip, and Brandon, give ElitePool the lead in the NL Pacific outright for 1 day, and it gives the Pool Outlaws, who ironically their captain called ElitePool a team of aimers as you'll remember, the National League Mountain Division. It also puts BlackSilver just 1 game behind PoolMasters for 4th in the WildCard, and hey, PoolMasters vs. BlackSilver, you never know, that could decide that 4th WildCard spot.
