2nd Week of Playoffs

So, apparently a controversial first week of playoffs, you're stupid if you thought 4 teams could take a loss in the playoffs without incident.

It all begins with Poolfighters playing round 2 as the away team? Is that right? Doesn't happen too often now does it? They'll be visiting EZ8 Pool, in the rematch from week 1. I'm sure we all remember what happened in that match, Carl captained for EZ8, led them to a slim win over the Fighters, surely not the way Luis wanted to prove his "big names don't win big games" statement. But in any event, this time EZ8 doesn't have Carl, they do however have a captain that led them to 10 wins and the division title. Granted, they both were 10-3, playing the same opponents, yet EZ8 has won 11 straight at 10-3...I know, I know, typo. Just thought I'd point it out. Look for this match to take about 6 games. We haven't had a 7-gamer yet, and basically EZ8, like I suggested with BS, should come out gunning. Poolfighters have so many weapons in their lineup, enough to win the Mosconi Cup if it were held on Yahoo. I'm taking PF to make it to the AL Championship without a huge break this time, in 5 or 6.

Speaking of BlackSilver, out of the frying pan and into the fire. First ElitePool, and forget giving any excuses for the match, the only thing that really matters is the score when it's all over. They take on conference runners-up Pool Outlaws. Again BS has to just get their absolute 7 best, and go right after the Outlaws. But the thing about PO is, their lesser players can STILL get wins. I've accused PO of stealing wins this season enough, but a month without being around makes ya think. Overall, the players of PO are either top-level or close to it. They do have weaker players but when you combine a few lucky wins with that kind of talent, you've got one damn dangerous team. I wanna see Cinderella wear her glass slippers but I think the Outlaws take it in again, 5 or 6. But let's just stop to give credit to BlackSilver some credit here. 7 consecutive wins, they sneak into the playoffs, because they didn't quit when things looked awful. Great job this season.

I'm so nice aren't I? How about the much-anticipated SS-PFN match? Doesn't matter where PFN is, home or away, they're able to pull out wins...But times have slightly changed. I'm likely to still be relying on school internet -_-, Marty as far as I know is still gone, This is like Colts-Pats, PFN usually wins this match, but this is the best chance the 'Shots will have to come away with an MLP win. If they don't beat them in the playoffs this season, they might never do it for a long time. I'm actually taking SS to win over Poolfiction, in 6 or 7.

Regul8ors going to the corner bar to take on the BeerBallers concludes the Conference semis. BBM won the NL over the Outlaws in the final week of the season. This team is for real, have been all season, and while losing MJ could be looked at as a setback, there are some guys you may have heard of called Clogz, Daru, Pascal, Coria, Scott, final 2 big mouths and all, they're still effective tools for winning matches. The regul8ors have a nice team in their own right, with Chris, Robbie, RAH if he's available, jerfighter's a very respectable player as well, and let's not overlook Tracey. Just because she's an admin doesn't mean she can't play, and man, can she play. However, nice season Regs I'm taking BBM to win in 6 or 7 games. On paper they're the better team, and it should hold true on the tables.
