Matches of the Nights

Well, starting this up again now that it's getting closer to Playoff time, and all ya gotta do is read below this post somewhere to see what match I'm watching Monday night. But what about the other nights?

Tuesday: HotShotz @ Pool Hustlers - Two teams very much alive in the Mountain Division race, and two teams that have very good chances of getting into the playoffs as wildcards anyways. HotShotz have been the big surprise of the Division I think, and quite possibly the biggest surprise in MLP. They've already matched last season's total, with 5 wins, they have a game to make up with Bearskins, coming up soon I'm told, so in theory if AF loses to the PoolPimps...If they get more than 2 players to show...HS could possibly tie for the Divisional lead. Probably have to wait on that though. But PH have been impressive themselves. A 1-3 start, Theike and Sophie cleaned up the league, brought in regulars, they's now 5-3. Statistically the hottest team in the NL, and mentally the hottest team as well. This one should be very entertaining.

Wednesday: LPL @ Pool Outlaws - Well, Amir has gone and guaranteed a win. Last time an LPLer guaranteed a win against a top-notch team, it was Ruffer against PoolFiction. PFN is undefeated this season, so we know the result. But LPL does have very good reason to believe they can pull this off. It begins with Rufferman, Romper, Amir, and Ogges. Those I think are the big 4 in this match for LPL. Outlaws cleaned the floor with XPool last night, missing 5 of their big players. They can't do that this time. They're gonna need Austin, Dan, Jamie, basically the more they have available, especially since it's a home match, the better. LPL would need this to avoid a potential tie with 8BR and UnitedPool at 4-5. Big match here, watch it.

Thursday: Beer Ball Masters @ Regul8ors - Big big math in the NL Pacific. Regs will need this one especially if PF beats ChampionsPool on Wednesday night. Like I said, they just have to stay even with PF, so PF has to do everything they can in their matches to make sure they don't lose, as long as it's within the limits of the rules of course. BBM are 4-4, in a tie with a league I haven't talked much about...TourneyPool. They're in action against BNR on Wednesday Night. So Wednesday really dictates the strategy in this match. Both teams are gonna play hard to win though. PCP of BBM said something along the lines of "don't ask me to play mlp again" after his loss this week against PoolPimps. They need him playing though to have a good chance against the Regs. Either way, this figures to be one of those hard-fought matches that, especially, neither team wants to lose.
