Weekly post
Sooo... Who's hot and who's not so hot in MLP lately? What players are worthy of mention? and let's not forget my weekly sport issue lol.
Let's begin with one of the hottest matches this week in MLP, where PO took care of things against a powerful 8BR squad (4-3 score) and they now extend their winning streak to 6, pretty much almost sealing the deal in the atlantic division, specially after MZ's surprise loss to a much improved BP league. PFN was also capable of taking a dangerous XP with a final score of 4-3, extending their winning streak from season 4 to 11 games and taking a 2 games lead over QZ in the central division. PF also proved to be hot this week after taking consecutive wins vs BBM and BNR with 5-2 and 7-0 respectively, sharing the lead with REG in the pacific, but the REG's hold the league on direct tiebreaker. Also worthy of mention, PH's amazing performance last few weeks and taking down the former undefeated AF team, making the mountain division even more interesting.
We've almost reached the equator of this season and so far many changes have taken place in MLP, specially in the staffs department. Kayla, MLP former Head Admin, decided to step down from her duties after being in charge for quite some time (I don't really know for how long lol)... Her efforts and great work will always be appreciated for making MLP, arguably, the best interleague competition ever made. What will the future hold for MLP? that remains to be seen, but for now it's in very good hands when Sofia agreed to take over HA's duties. I really don't know whether they might need another admins or not, but it's pretty obvious right now (and this goes to all the captains) that MLP faces yet another challenge with so many interleague formats out there, and it shouldn't even be mentioned, but MLP's staff will need all the help captains/players can provide in every aspect. I just hope players finally realize and appreciate all the admins AND umpires' hard work and patience to make this possible. Best of luck to Sofia in her new duties and to the remaining MLP staff to keep up the fine job they're doing ;)
This week's goodie awards go to pfn_coma (don't know the exact name lol) and reg__flip16 (not sure if it's spelt correctly lol) for giving reracks in their matches and showing some good sportmanship. Also big congrats to pl_luckydog (PoolLegends, newest league in MLP, welcome you guys btw and best of luck in this new challenge) for winning cam jump after his return and bigger congrats to pm_damn... for winning the regular jump twice in a row already and he's going for an unprecedented third win in a row, best of luck bud.
Final Four has arrived guys (lol I'm gonna sound like an expert... whatever!!!) and tonite Illinois, Louisville, North Carolina and Michigan St. will fight to achieve glory, fame and ... who cares? it's just basketball jesus christ lolol (just kidding!! don't kill me). Anyway, I don't see any big favorite in these matches, and may the luckiest team win it all lol.
Take it easy.
