7:03 - Both 7:00 matches start
7:10 - DP_Chris_Dogg scratches and Wendy finishes for the win. (HP 1 - 0 DP)
7:18 - Moe beats LuckyCandi. (LPL 1 - 0 8BR)
7:24 - Stylezchild ties HP-DP at 1.
7:26 - Ruffer beats jadakiss. (LPL 2 - 0 8BR)
7:32 - Joker beats whitehead. (LPL 3 - 0 8BR)
7:35 - Bryan beats davinder. (HP 2 - 1 DP)
7:42 - NoxLimit DQed for being ineligible. (HP 2-2 DP)
7:48 - Tyler [bongman] keeps 8BR alive by beating Phill_ip. (LPL 3 - 1 8BR)
7:57 - Fergie defeats _pascal_. (HP 3 - 2 DP)
8:09 - Rizken beats copenhagen8us. (LPL 4 - 1 8BR) 8BallRunners eliminated from the Playoffs, LPL would win 5-2.
8:15 - Mannie [010--010] sends the match to a game 7 decider. (Match tied 3-3)
8:33 - Cavs4life beats Super_Mario_64_. (HP wins 4-3) So, HappyPool has in fact clinched a Playoff spot. With an XPool win, DreamPool is knocked out of the Playoffs. Xpool needs to get through a merciless Quez team however. God this format sucks but I'm too lazy to erase it. So, since I didn't have a timeline for HS-AF, because the Sox game was on, here's what you need to know -_-.
AbsoluteFinest took care of the HotShotz pretty quickly tonight winning 5-2. So, Absolute Finest would win the Mountain Division if Pool Pimps pull off something against the Hustlers. But, that's not likely. HotShotz have clinched the #7 seed in the NL half of the Playoffs, and I'm tired so this whole post blows.
Here's how the playoffs would look if the season ended right now.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
#8 BritPool @ #1 Pool Outlaws [Locked] (Reg. Season: PO won 6-1)
#5 HappyPool @ #4 Lava Pool Lounge [Locked] (Reg. Season: LPL won 4-3)
#6 DreamPool @ #3 Pool Fiction [Locked] (Reg. Season: PFN won 6-1)
#7 MadSkillz @ #2 QueBallz [Locked] (Reg. Season: MZ won 6-1)
NATIONAL LEAGUE
#8 Pool Legends @ #1 Absolute Finest (Reg. Season: PL won 4-3)
#5 Pool Masters @ #4 Pool Hustlers (Reg. Season: PM won 4-3)
#6 TourneyPool @ #3 PoolFighters (Reg. Season: To Be Played Thursday Night)
#7 HotShotz [Locked] @ #2 Regul8ors (Reg. Season: REG won 4-3)
So, you can see a couple upsets quite possible in that bracket. If PL hangs on though they'll likely face PH but another PL-AF match really would be something to watch. Speaking of upsets...
Season 3. LPL against PoolFighters. You'll recall (some of you) PoolFighters pretty much stole one (disagree, please) in Season 2 over HappyPool, catching a break in game 3 which led to a 7-game win over HP. Well, LPL up 3-2 on PoolFighters...LPL ends up timing out. Would PF have won had LPL had a full 7? Maybe. But I'm gonna call it a steal anyways. Basically PF sneaks into the AL Championship game for the 2nd time in a row, only to be cut down by eventual runners-up in the World Series, PoolFiction. LPL over PF would've been a huge upset. But hey, if PF didn't survive, we wouldn't have had an hour-long Game 7 between Mick and Dogz.
It's late (or early) and I'm just getting back into making summary posts -_- gimme some slack for a day -_-
