Spotlight Matches and how I'll be doing the summaries this week :)
MONDAY: Lava Pool Lounge @ 8Ball Runners, DreamPool @ HappyPool - Dual spotlight matches because...This is my blog, my post, and I can do that it's an unwritten rule. If HappyPool wins, XPool may well be out of the Playoffs. If DreamPool wins, XPool's in. if 8BallRunners win, BritPool is still in until Unitedpool plays. If unitedPool and 8BR both win, 8BR is in. If UnitedPool wins and 8BR loses, UnitedPool is in. BritPool's sitting at 7-8 after their forfeit win over ElitePool tonight. DreamPool hasn't exactly clinched a spot either. if HappyPool and XPool both win...DreamPool is...Bye bye thanks for playing and silly little Kula's attempt to play on a Playoff team is null and void :) That'd be a good enough laugh for me. But those are 2 definate must-watchers tonight.
TUESDAY: Pool Hustlers @ Pool Pimps - The Hustlers are looking to clinch the NL Mountain and set themselves up to win the NL overall as well. Pool Pimps will be playing bracket buster, as they hope to finish out their season on a strong note. But of course, PH is just too good for the Pimps, hopefully Theike's advice for his team will pay off, but PoolPimps have a fairly legitimate chance, as Break and Run did.
WEDNESDAY: Break and Run @ ChampionsPool - If CHP wins, Pool Legends MUST BEAT the Regul8ors to stay in the Playoffs. Break and Run is already out but anyone who knows BNR knows they will not go down quietly. Actually, they will as in without drama, but you know what i mean. I said before to a few people this could well be the Week 15 play-in match. I was slightly off thinking BNR would be there, but CHP is certainly trying to play their way in.
THURSDAY: Every single one except SP-WA (sorry guys) - First, PoolFighters could put themselves in a place to win the NL Conference with a win over TourneyPool, who with a win could possibly improve their seeding. XPool may be in a must-win situation if HappyPool wins, and they'd be against Quez...Not really who you wanna have to beat to get into the Playoffs. But it'll be the battle of the co-MVPs, shootalready and Kevin. UnitedPool after a clutch comeback over SuperbPool last week, they could find themselves in a position to play their way into the Playoffs, if they beat MadSkillz. MadSkillz wouldn't mind just winning so they know they're in for sure. Regul8ors, if PF wins, will have to win to get the #2 seed (assuming PH wins), and win the Pacific Division. As for Pool Legends, if ChampionsPool wins...PL must win, in order to reach the Playoffs. Even a BBM win could set up some bizarre tiebreaker. But PL must come with everything, and I believe the Regs will have to as well. All 4 matches Thursday could possibly have Playoff implications...and WHAT A SEASON 5 FINALE! It was gonna be PoolPals @ Regs, but hey the Admins are forgiven. GREAT JOB with the scheduling. I'll be busy as all hell Thursday :D
