3-up and 3-down

For the next 21 days SC is Nick's :) Obviously I'll be on every-so-often to make some kind of post and add anybody if he wants them added. Now to look at the Surprises and Disappointments and anything else I might care enough about to mention.

SURPRISES
CueKeepers: 2-0 OK so theywon a close game with Wild Angels, nothing to brag about right? The last 2 weeks they've been ridiculously short-handed. By the way, 2-0 means they won those matches.

PoolFighters: 2-0 This was supposed to be PF's failure season. They can't compete, they've lost so much, uh they're 2-0. I'm interested in this team this season, for the first time. It'll be something to watch if they can keep it up.

MadSkillz: 2-0 Why a surprise? Well, underachievemet has been the norm for these guys in the past. So far so good this season but it's only Week 2.

DISAPPOINTMENTS
8BallRunners: 0-2 Though I don't know if it's really a surprise, being that they had an awful start last season. But they won't be in thet horrid division last season scrapping for a Playoff spot about 4 games below .500.
UnitedPool: 0-2 They're supposed to be better. Sure they ran into a brick wall in MZ and JKR the past 2 weeks, but the way the whole team has played has just been flat. That's something that has to be fixed ASAP in a conference that could get away from them in a hurry.
Online Pool Hall: 0-2 And yet their captain accuses as if they're any good in the first place. By week 2 with the schedule they've had, how could you not expect a 2-0 start? A pair of 2-5 losses isn't the way to start a season, but teams have come back from far worse. These next 2 weeks may well define their season.

Red Sox end their losing streak tonight at Fenway as they begin a sweep of the Detroit Tigers, while the Royals will sweep the Yankees AGAIN. Take care kids. :)
