A look ahead to week 2
Onto the matches to watch for - MONDAY: StraightShots @ Queballz - lol if I said qz's h/a was going crazy over not getting a little trophy graphic after QZ's World Series win would you believe me? Well what's also true is Quez got... I dunno, smoked, slapped around, manhandled, dominated, basically... They were god-awful last week. StraightShots took a 5-2 win last week and this match could well be a barometer of how well the SS team has rebuilt themself for this season.
TUESDAY - XPool @ OPH - Even though XP fell to Wild Angels, I think this match could be good. Tuesday probably won't be the most exciting night of the week, but both teams have to rebound from losses in good matches. OPH will probably win and may win big, but what else can I recommend? RP-BBM will probably be a blowout, HS-PO? Ha... No. JKR-CP? CP won't even bring a team, maybe we can find a replacement if they don't. And as for that azn_speed kid from CP... Go get bent over idiot. *sighs* God it feels good to be back.
WEDNESDAY - Pick one. Every single match tonight is a good one. PoolFighters and LPL, Runners and Hustlers, Regs and IND, BS PL, I think this is the best night of the week by far. Look for a TON of 4-3 Decisions :D
THURSDAY - UnitedPool @ MadSkillz - OK so UP got served by the Jokers. Or... The Hogwarts Captains... And they have a new Captain apparently with aaron_from_hell taking over. So it's no surprise I pick this match to watch for because it'll be interesting to see how the new guy does. MadSkillz are looking to of course prove me wrong when I've called them mediocre over the past few seasons. Every season these guys are threats to win 10-13 matches and they... just don't. That underachievement has stuck them in low Playoff seeds and as the great Sonic the Hedghog sez... That's no good. :)
