Ok, so after a month and a half of waiting season 6 will finally be kicking off tonight with the blt!! We see 24 leagues return for the new season with 8 new leagues looking to imprint their skills on mlp! With the first week beginning tomorrow I fully expect the usual upsets and 7 game matches that accompany the 1st week. With a few big leagues maybe not quite settled with their top 7 it’s the ideal time for a well prepared “weaker” league to strike!

Monday Predictions (fire_wolf87 and goodbye_sober_dayz)

LPL @ REG - 6pm

Nick - Ok so we start off procedings tonight with what promises to be 1 of the matches of the week and is undoubtably a killer matchup for opening season 6. Two very strong teams here, regs are previous national conference runners up while lpl made semis of the american conference only going down to an outstanding Outlaws team, however while lpl have had a huge off season adding the likes of tyler, joey and t_rocket, regs however seem to have been much quieter and the loss of their season 5 stars may be the telling factor in this match!

Chris - We are looking at a weaker Regs team then last season no doubt, But with the company of Pita and Flip they can still be a force of reckoning. LPL in other words does seem to have the more promising hand in this, But with past experience and the upsets with this bunch, Regs should keep up with the pace and work LPL to the final end.

Nick - I agree you can never write a regs side off but i just fail to see how they can break down a team consisting of ogges, king_vaughn, rizken and co. Past pita, flip and garret il be waiting to see which of the new regs can step up and compete with lpl.
im going to go with 4-3 lpl.

Chris - Well, As I'll quote myself last season "The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fall", However I'll put my superstitions aside from this and just base it on the facts. LPL 5-2

BNR @ PH – 7pm

Nick - Ok a lot of questions will be asked of this hustlers team, with theike stepping down and pom and si moving on, their new captain cory will have a lot to prove as he looks to give the hustlers a 1-0 start, bnr are still classified in my mind as 1 of the weaker mlp teams, however they pulled out some nice wins last season, im sure they havent lost ne1 and redhot, jerm and emerald will be looking to pull out an upset here!

Chris - Break n Run , Best group for sportsmanship these last few seasons in my eyes, despite their lack of winning, And there isnt really much more to say.....really.. They will be ready to try and get that 1-0 season start but against Pool Hustlers, I just cant see that happening. Even with a possible loss of Theike, Cory still has some good names to throw at BNR and just enough to set BNR on their trail of a repeat season.

Chris - Jokers Alley making their debut season here in MLP. Welcome guys, Against the classy United Pool league. United Pool hasnt really made much change from their last season lineup staring their well known x_ketan_x, kansas_elite and MLP's best streak artist! BadKing! Jokers has alot of not so known players that can shoot you to the ground leavin u in the feeble position. With this said United Pool should really spice up before the match kick starts as Jokers will come full throttle to kickstart their journey to the playoffs with a 1-0 seas opener.

Nick - Having played npa for the jokers i know first hand just what these guys are made of, none of them "big well known" players but boy they all have skills that can rival any team. Ryan - The_Slytherin_Captain, has made this league into a formidable interlg opponent and mlp will be no different. Even though UP barely missed the playoffs last season jokers will just be too tough, however i would like to know what the hell is with all the harry potter references! I see - The_Slytherin_Captain, the_ravenclaw_captain and the_griffindor_captain. Could a joker explain that 1? Also who's gonna be the hufflepuff captin lol.

Chris - lol, With their Harry Potter clique, I think Jokers will throw some magic at UP and win an easy 5-2 game. That of course is if Ryan can gather his team.

Nick - Knowing Ryan im sure he will, if you aren’t taking jokers seriously yet you soon will be, 5-2 Jkr but don’t be surprised if its 6-1

HS @ DP

Nick - Ok two teams here that both made playoffs last season, if i remember correctly both were low seeds. This season im certain will be different, while im not sure how the hs lineup looks I am certain how the dp lineup looks. Dp has without a doubt had the most active off season and oh boy what a change a season makes, lining up with captain rob this season will be new recruits krunal, adnan, Mj, Andy and scotter. Add that to pascal, efc and chris_dogg and you have a conference title contender. Too much for hot shotz at anyrate!!

Chris – With HS and players like l3oti, Glenno and x_jeremie_x you can never under estimate these guys, When pool goes their way they can get er done, However with a huge pick up like MJ added to the DP lineup, Almost a solid win, HS will have their hands full and can only hope that DP gets caught with them hangers.

Nick - Yep I don't want to write Hs off completely but I feel Dp will be too tough for them. Id like to say 6-1 Dp but im gonna stay safe with 5-2.

Chris - Agreed, but i'll take the risk nick and try to beat u in this prediction with a 6-1 final result DP =P

Ok Tuesdays predictions will hopefully be up tomorrow, provided me n chris catch each other online. Vgl to all 8 teams tomorrow night and gl to all in tonights BLT. Cubby’s hosting so feel free to cause as much hassle as possible :-)
