Wild Angels @ Cue Keepers - Ah... Those Wild Angels. Ya know, they remind me of the Mets/Cubs bullpen. Neither can hold a lead consistently to save their lives. dis_dain and aka_colonel picked up dubbyas for the Angels in the first 2 games off Steelglass and trouble61400 respectively, but I think y'all know where this is going. Put on your rally caps! lvlrknght beats FORD83, it's 2-1. Transmission from pink_lady69_98 to xXx24angel24xXx: You got BANK'D on! Few nice shots near the end of that game makes it 2-2. evil_pornsir_shagsalot... I love these guys' names... off Sexy_Sweetheart69, it's 3-2 Keepers. Captain battle, KyJelly_1 trying to stop the bleeding and tie this back up against Rob_76... naw, not happening. Keepers go up 4-2, methinks the Angels need a little help in that 3-6 spot where they tend to lose leads and eventually matches. Game 7, somebody PLEASE get a win, thank you partslady, she beats xox_virtual_charm_xox, CKP still wins 4-3. Judy by the way is 2-0.
Breakers Alley @ PoolFiction - Breakers haven't actually played a match yet they got a forfeit win last week after 2 leagues got cold feet. That's how intimidating these guys are! They single-handedly forced 2 leagues to change their mind in fear. It's like "Breakers Alley? NOOOO have mercy on us!!" ...Anyways, let's just try to ignore that BA Captain stealth_killer's 50 requests for silence were ignored by the very mature *cough* PFN team, let's focus on the match: Fire_wolf picked Breakers to win at least 1 game, well he played game 1 and... Don't worry he won over lv_lv_y, open flood gates please. Game 2, BizzyUK beats sarahjo_316, it's 2-0. Game 3, goodbye_sober_dayz steals one from blondes_1001 it's 3-0. See where this one's going? aka_sevenfold game 4, I've never heard a song from a7x, don't plan to, but he beats naughtia_24. Jammy beats stealth_killer36 in a game delayed by the above-mentioned situation I will try to ignore. Cubby moves the cue around like Greg Maddux or something to that effect to beat im_just_jeremy, it's 6-0. Breakers don't have a 7th, Joe wins on timer/forfeit/something, he's 2-0 regardless, PoolFiction 7-0 win.
StraightShots @ Quez - Not a match I paid a lot of attention to so sue me. I do know Southern_Star, that's the same Lena that JJ said he didn't want playing in the Playoffs, improves to 2-0 on the season after beating L_a_U_r_A1_. DIZZYDEVIL tied it for SS though by beating MiSFiTson to also improve to 2-0. Game 3, Godd4u (that's Aka_Legendz we would find out later) beats sicc_illusion, BUT he's not on the MLP ladder as SS_Godd4u, problem found, announced at table, no answer, no fix, oh boy... 3 minutes go by and DQ, win go bye-bye, sicc_illusion awarded the win. Good for Quez, bad for 'Shots. Next game, actually before all of this unfolds, Stick777 loses on a very quick early 8 against _PureChaos_, that won't improve moods. That makes it 3-1 Quez, xlx_corner_pocket_xlx behind some good safety play early beats rookieplayer77, to clinch the match and make it 4-1. Battle of the redundant underscores: k_i_n_g_b_a_n_g_e_r against C_o_w_b_o_y_y, yes I copied and pasted, ADV: k_i_n_g_b_a_n_g_e_r. That makes it 4-2, Quez don't have a 7th for the 2nd week, JUDGE1417 gets the win on forfeit, but Quez still win it 4-3. A very much needed win after that disaster last week.
Pool Masters @ Break And Run - Grab your sleeping bags! I will now take a near-3 hour match and shorten it to 1 paragraph. 1 really, long paragraph. FlyGirl_54 against badalnighter in game 1, what an odd turn-around for a layer who was easily BNR's best the past couple seasons, back in that leadoff spot and he's now 0-2 as Danna (:D) beats him. By the way that game took about 40 minutes. Next game, pain_purifies beats out safety_game after the game narrowly misses a flashy shot on the 8, poolgame tied. LBCdogg in game 3, against the former captain redhot, this game took what? 40 minutes as well? Just about. In the end, LBC gets out with the win, this match is going way too slow... But wake up here comes Rocky_Ireland to speed things up a little. Off capwhanda, he just makes this ball, that ball, that other ball, and that ball... Repeat, and you got yourself a run-out. Game finishes right at 11:00. Nice timing. 3-1 PM. But brown_skinnedgirl, the new Captain, beats zackman0011, it's now only 3-2. i_havethep0wer in game 6, Dina sends up kellyhero TO BE A HERO!!!!!! ...Or lose. But hey, p0wer did give kelly a rerack after sinking the 8 really early, got the win on the replay the nice and purdyful way, salute to Danna again, that makes it 4-2 PM. CRAZY_QUE gets FroggyGodess in Game 7, redemption for losing to that wolf_cubby idiot last week, H wins, and the Masters win it 5-2.
So, overall a good night, had its bumps, but welcome to MLP for the newbies not expecting that. And let me take the time to say I'm 2-0, and ba-da-ba-ba-ba... I'm lovin it. *expects to lose next week and get ridiculed for life* :(
