Mondays Predictions!
Ok still havent thought of a new prediction format. For this week gonna stick to a simple summary of the teams and call a winner!
WA (1-0) @ CKP (1-0) 6pm
Kicking off the week are 2 season 5 veterans, both have also enjoyed successful 1st weeks coming out with 4-3 victory's. I know its way too early to call but if either team are planning an assualt at the playoffs they will both view this as a very important match! Im sure Rob and kyjelly will both be preparing their strongest squads for tomorrow. This is gonna be a close call but with ckp only squeeking a 4-3 vic over BE im gonna side with the angels and back a 4-3 wa win!
BA (1-0) @ PFN (1-0) 7pm
Another two teams enjoying a 1-0 record, pfn achieving it with a convincing 5-2 win over a strong pm side, ba coming out with a 7-0 timed win! This is only ever going to go one way, pfn have a line up that can and will challenge anyone this season, ba on the other hand, stuck in a conference containing more talent than australian ashes victorys will definetely struggle! With the talent pfn enjoys kerry will spoilt for choice 2night, could easily be a 7-0 blowout however im gonna back ba to grab 1 win (v jammy probably :p), 6-1 pfn.
SS (1-0) @ QZ (0-1) 8pm
We meet our first negative team of the week and how many of you predicted it would be qz? For a team suffering a humiliating 1-6 loss to newcomers ind they can hardly be enjoying the prospect of ss coming to bad apples! Cubby has identified this as the match of the night, completely agree. Were still waiting to see if this ss team realy has improved and revamped under the guidence of roy, things are looking good so far. Alarm bells ringing at qz? I doubt it, as much as kevin wont have been happy with that loss if we look back to season 5 qz started with a 1-2 record and an early 1-6 loss to mz! Im sure kevin will turn qz around and taking down ss would be a good start. SS on the back of a lot of recent success will strongly disagree, im tempted to go with an ss victory but my gut says 4-3 qz! Kevin wants this win!!!
PM (0-1) @ BNR (0-1) 9pm
Two teams not enjoying week 1 were pm and bnr and i doubt that bnr's season will be picking up this week! They will be coming up against a stern opposition, matt will be wanting that 1st victory tucked under his belt and with the nl being so tough pm have to capitalize against the weaker teams! Jerm and redhot im sure will be 2 key figures if bnr are to pull out an upset and with the match being at bnr if brown_skinnedgirl can get her matchups right, maybe sacrificng weaker players v the likes of missy and going for pm's weaker side with jerm it could possibly turn interesting! Im still gonna go for a 5-2 pm victory though!
There ya have it, 4 matches, simple format and thats the way its gonna be this week due to work and organising going to leeds festival i dont have time for brain waves!!
