Big League Tour Post!!
Ok, im sat here playing poker feeling pretty bored n noticed we aint had a blt post yet this season so figured id give yall someat to read and update you on blt proceedings!
Week 1 saw pfn climb straight to the top of the board even with only 6 players in both jumps! With joe coming runner up to aldo in the cam jump and 2 other cam quarterfinal appearances for pfn earnt them 17 points and a ticket to the top. With pfn the team winners of week 1 who took the trnys? As mentioned above welcome to mlp jkr_mtvaldo, 1st mlp game, 1st mlp trny a nice 6-0 record to start! Maybe its worth mentioning while he did play some excellant pool it realy does go to show as well as talent the cam jump requires that touch of luck to win. At 1-1 in the final joe had the game wrapped, couldnt quite pull out the run so left an excellant safety! Heres where aldo's luck kicked in. Trapped behind joe's orange in the top right of the table he full powered the cue off the right rail over the top of the orange, hit top rail, cannoned the pink onto the left rail which in turn hit the nub of the bottom middle before finally landing plumb in the top middle! Nice... It was left to an old hand to clinch the reg jump, the well acclaimed qz_the_pool_apprentice (kenny) took it with minimum fuss!

Week 2 arrived and the turnout increased with 50 in the cam jump and 90 in the reg jump! Imagine the possibilites if this was just 1 jump!! Il start with the cam jump this time, it was left to an old hand to clinch the tourny, u might recognise the name, bs_crypt6uardian back from retirement to help blacksilver's season and lets face it they need every1 they can get! Well he proved he hasnt lost his touch overcoming the likes of miz, efc, james, aldo and finaly pommy in the final! Another mention is once again aldo following on from week 1 he plunged straight into week 2 only to be stopped in the semis. Add that to a midweek 7v7 vic and the guy is 11-1 for the season and a nice +11 best! Out of a 90 strong lineup the reg jump was taken by another experienced campaigner pm_LBCdogg_69. Who says the reg jump doesn't hold talent?? This guy had to come through the likes of missy, _phenom_ and mspoolpro before beating the badly reputed puddsybear in the final! On the team front it was pl who took a huge 22 points thanks to mspoolpro and phenom in the reg jump and james in the cam jump, also picking up the bonus points of a full 8 man team. Pm with their tour vic followed closely with 20.

Week 3 was missed by myself so im going to have to go on w/e the trny page tells me. Only 40 people graced the cam jump and it was mz's Pete (mz_Peter_Rules) who came out on top with final victory over bbm's coma! In the reg jump bp started a fantastic week with a reg jump vic, bp_grazee_boy_78 who incidentally was bp's only representation, took on a 103 strong field and walked away unscathed! His run included victory over pm's captain i_havethep0wer , lpl's THEONLYROSS, reg's the_chamelean_isnt_here and a final outing with lpl_pool_king_taylor. And finally after coming in 2nd and 3rd in week 1 and 2 respectively for weekly points total bbm successed in topping the list with 19 points for week 3, deep cam jump journeys from Chris (PomDom) and Coma (BloodLustIncarnate) helping with the total. Solid weeks from pm and pl maintain their status near the top but an abismal showing from pfn saw them drop out of the top 5!

Ok that rounds up the first 3 weeks, gl 2night all in both trnys hope thiers a good turnout. Just a suggestion but if captains get in touch with their admins and spread the word about the blt then even players not normally good enough for 7v7 service can play if they know about these trnys! With 32 leagues and each allowed 8 players there is no reason why a combined total of 256 players cannot be achieved! Do your job captains and get these players in!!!!!!!!!
