Tuesday Predictions
#8 Brit Pool @ #5 Hot Shotz [7PM] - I think HotShotz is a league on the rise lately in interleagues and they've at least shown me a little to back up that claim. I think they certainly have enough to beat BP as after Season 5 they really seem to have gone downhill. Loo for Cowboy to do well, along with sabatora, assuming they play. The key for BP to win would be Jai. He has to simply put his best players up quick and hope to get a couple wins out of the first 3-4 games. Otherwise HS has them dead to rights. 5-2 HS wins this.
DIVISION III
#5 Pool Pals @ #8 Lucky Shots [6PM] - I think PP are too obsessed with cam in a Division where they likely won't get too many Cam games. However, Lucky Shots don't seem to be a league that strikes me as brilliant. if PP can ignore the inevitable distraction that comes with being denied a Cam game, like many players in the top leagues have been unable to do in past seasons, they win this one 5-2 as well.
#3 Regul8ors @ #7 Blazing Cues [9PM] - Regs are only #3 because they replaced Sicc Skillz but we'll see if they can hold that. They certainly have some good enough players still signed up, kitto will likely have to be the leader of this team though for them to go far. Blazing Cues shouldn't pose too much of a threat but it IS week 1 and leagues that shouldn't be a threat often win or come close. I think Regs will fend them off,b arring DQ's, 4-3.
The Pool Masters @ Dream Pool match has been moved to Wednesday, and I won't be here at all in the afternoon so I'll try and get predictions done before I go to sleep tonight.
